His Witch Queen-Chapter 192: Guilty!
As everyone’s eyes fell upon the person, all of them held their breath. It was evident that no one predicted that Lady Flora would be present in the court and support Alice against her own mother.
Alice’s eyes shone with proudness while Lady Ira turned pale. There was the tinge of unhappiness as well as a bit of alarm raised in her ears.
"Flora... my dear child, what are you doing here?" Lady Ira can’t help but mutter, finding her speech turning down.
While Princess Flora swept her glance from her mother, she then looked at Alice with an understanding gaze. In the similar manner, Alice passed her a small nod too.
Keeling all her courage above her head, Princess Flora walked in the center of the courtroom to face the King. She appeared hesitant but that didn’t stop her from answering to King.
"Princess Flora... Do you know what is happening here? Your mother is being blamed for Late Prince’s death." King Vias pressed his words since he too, was like a lost soul.
"I-I do know about that. And I’m here to give my stand on what my mother had done." Flora added and then took a deep breath.
She didn’t face Lady Ira anymore either. But on the other hand, Lady Ira’s eyes turned black. ’This girl knows everything about me. Why is she even here?’ She couldn’t recall Flora ever stabbing her back like this.
It made Lady Ira raise tons of questions. But beneath them, she tried to shake her hand. As her eyes were stagnant on Flora, she tried her best to manipulate the mind of her daughter with the inner strength of black magic held in her.
However, it appears to be an impossible task right now. While Lady Ira was trying to control her fingers, she found Flora not moving at all. ’Why is my magic not working?’
A deep frown settled on her brows as she realized that whatever tricks she was she supposed to play with power, they all seemed to be settled down. It made her heart pinch in her chest but that didn’t stop Flora from saying things aloud.
As Flora took a deep breath, she pressed her lips together to say, "Indeed it was my mother who had killed Prince Dominic. Whatever said by Priest is totally correct. She had injected him with poison so that Prince Dominic could die and no one would have the chance to know about the reason as well."
Chaos was created in the middle of the courtroom. The members were frozen to their spot since they found this information to be not less than any breaking news.
But King Vilas still maintained silence.
He didn’t raise his voice, neither showed the flow of emotions like others. As he went through certain situations in his mind, his eyes turned narrowed, "You are saying that it was indeed your mother who killed prince Dominic. But what is the reason behind doing so?"
"She has more plans, King Vilas." Flora said. "Her dangerous plan not only included Prince Dominic but more people. He was just the stepping stone. Next person was someone else."
"Who?" One of the members asked.
As Flora deviated her eye to look at that member, she answered, "It was our King whom Lady Ira wishes to target. She wants the title for herself and this will happen only when my father, The Second Man, gets the throne."
Flora’s each word confined heaviness. All of their faces twisted with the hidden expression which didn’t telecare how easily they valued her.
For King Vilas, they all became protective. While towards Lady Ira, a glint of disgust started to flash within. It wasn’t very late for her days to come to an end.
At the same time, Lady Ira’s heart breached. As she found the revelations, no trace of happiness and pride. All her meaning towards her life got ruined as she was brutally exposed.
However, Alice wasn’t done with the investigation till yet. "Flora, will you please take a stand on telling us how Lady Ira has caused death of the..several people?"
Flora looked at Alice from above her shoulder. She passed a nod to rotate her eyes back to the King before saying, "Lady Alice is right. All of the pregnant concubines of my father were also shown the same path of death. It was always my mother who never wanted anyone to compete with her."
At this point, no one needed any proof. The killer’s own daughter was going against her mother. What can be the biggest evidence they needed?
But after a long time, Lady Ira gained her senses. She pulled herself back from the daze to lift her eyes and view at the courtroom. "T-this.. all.. is..."
"Do you still have the audacity to explain yourself, Lady IRA!?" King Vilas’s shrill voice made her gulp the saliva back..
King Vilas was shaking at the bench of the throne since his body couldn’t control the amount of fury that began to surface.
As they allowed the King to make the perfect decision, they knew that answer was already laid by their eyes.
King Vilas’s eyes filled gazy with the black. It showed how worse his heart ruptured right now. But he had the responsibility to carry on and put forward the decisions for the entire court to know.
"After the significant evidence provided by, in the courtroom against Lady Ira, we can clearly say that it was indeed Lady Ira who planned all of the conspiracy."
"Moreover, since she hasn’t only caused one death but the death of old concubines as well, this court will serve justice to them too."
King Vilas looked to his left to find all the other members now seated at their places with raised shoulders."This court declares Lady Ira guilty for all the murders she has caused of the people. We can’t put the decision merely upon the death of Dominic but also of others."
"Members are requested to please decide the punishment for Lady Ira."
