His Witch Queen-Chapter 154: Pregnant?!

The group got ready to leave in the direction of the Suzania Kingdom. The old man, Kian, was given one horse since he was weak and older too. His vampire state was declining with time.

The other place was occupied by one and only, Alice, once she was little human and going somewhere on foot will be painful for her. By the time, the sun was shining brighter in the sky, they all had come to the terms that the journey was going to be rough, and hard.

At the same moment, Lisa was in her house. Helped her father in stitching some clothes, while her mother brought some more clothes. "Ladies have so many demands. They don’t understand the value of time."

Lisa’s dimple shined, when she moved her eyes in her direction, "What happened mother?"

"Just as before, they all want their dresses to be altered in just one day. How is that even possible?" hearing this, Lisa’s lisp went straight into a thin line.

Then, she moved her gaze to look at her father, who was busier with the work in his hands, "Father, do you think we will be able to complete the stitching and altering?"

"We can alter the dresses by using the entire night. Stitching takes time, we can do it by tomorrow." saying this, her father stopped the work and moved to another piece that was brought by her mother.

Lisa’s family was a tailor in the town. Her shop was famous and most of the residents of the town came to them for their work. Yet, no one had any idea about Lisa’s connection with Prince, as she was the daughter of any other local.

Lisa started to assist her father in the new work time until she heard the voice of her mother, "Lisa! Can you please show up at the entrance?"

"Sure mother!" leaving the work on the other side, Lisa got up from the ground to walk in her mother’s direction. She was wearing a knee-length frock, kind of curls from down. It was stitched to make sure that the area isn’t left open.

But what contained was the shine in her eyes, the round sapphire eyes.

Lisa walked to the entrance door of their house, to find her mother talking with any other woman. "Yes, mother? You called me?"

"Oh Lisa, I called you here to make you meet with her." Lisa’s mother motioned her to the lady, who was wearing slightly expensive clothes. Her eyes roamed on the woman, similar to how the lady admitted her view.

"She is Lady Sierra. Lady Sierra, she’s my daughter, Lisa.’’ Upon the introduction, Lisa shook her head and brought a beautiful smile to her face. "Nice to meet you, Lady Sierra."

"It is my pleasure, girl. I must say, you have beautiful eyes. You have inherited them from your father." the lady commented and Lisa smiled. "Thank you for your compliment."

"Lisa, Lady Sierra’s son, is in the army of the Kingdom. Do you know what his pay is? He is getting four thousand coins as his income. That’s huge. Our Empire is spending a lot on the soldiers." Lisa’s mother commented and without missing a beat, Lisa knew what her words meant.

As her smile froze, it became harder to remain the same smile. Yet, not trying to upset her mother, Lisa still didn’t let her bewildered expression pass through her eyes. "Oh, that is very nice.."

"ISN’T?" her mother was giving her verbal hints, yet it was getting too obvious for her to ignore.

Similarly, Lisa’s hands curled into fists, but she still didn’t blink her eyes to not sound rude either.

But to the feelings that curled under her heart, Lisa knew she can’t stay here anymore. "Please excuse me, mother. I need to go inside. Father must be waiting for me."

With this said, Lisa took the time to step back and come inside the house. She knew her look and annoyed mother. But right now, there was something more urgent.

Maintaining the same smile, Lisa walked back inside the house to straightaway walk back to go to her room. The smile didn’t leave her, nor did her subtle positive softness change.

Lisa straightway went to the room, to close the door behind her. Then, she walked to the bathroom at lightning speed to throw up in the wash basin. "COUGH! COUGH!"

"T-this.." At this point, Lisa’s stomach aches badly. Moreover, her chest was getting heavier with time. So, she let herself throw up all that was present in her stomach at once.

Afterward, when she was done, Lisa cleaned her mouth and taped her face with a towel. While she stared at her reflection through the gusty mirror in front, Lisa’s heartbeat skipped a beat.

’I suddenly threw up. What has happened with me?’ it was still obvious, but then, her lips parted when something serious struck her mind like a wind.

It was almost unbelievable in her eyes. Her heart started to shater, humming again in their chest like a tsunami coming over her. ’No..o...’

’I-I missed my periods too. Wait, is there anything...?’ This made her breathe turn deeper. She was almost ghosted, with her eyes not able to proceed with the thoughts either. "A-am...I..pregnant?"

"No! No!"

Her thought was almost negligible. But why? As she recalled the night spent with Dominic in the mountains, her eyes bulged altogether.

To confirm this, Lisa immediately rushed out of her house to go to her friend’s horse, who was in her neighborhood. She came to her room, and since her friends were actually learning about the medicines and everything along with grandfather, she felt that she would be able to help her discover this.

As Lisa sat with the lady in her room, only Lisa knew how much she trembled at this point.

Her friend, slightly older than her, had taken her hand into hers while she tried to measure the nerves near her wrist.

While sweat covered Lisa, she was more eager to know the reality. "Tell me now...do you think.."

"You are pregnant, Lisa. But Whose child is it?"
