His Witch Queen-Chapter 135: Flirting!

Keeping all the awkwardness aside, both of them had their last eye contact before they plated from each other’s embrace. While Alice was still not able to accept what happened between them, nevertheless, she neither faced him anymore.

Packing all the things, she kept the giant metallic box ready and Cyrus instructed his soldiers to pick it up from his chamber.

Afterward, when the right time came, Prince took the hand of his wife to entangle their fingers together. For a bit, Alice was resistant, after recalling the morning memory in her brain.

But on the second note, she didn’t step back either. Keeping her eyes sealed, she let Cyrus lead her through the lobbies.

The sun had risen in the sky and the bright sunlight faced this castle. At this point, Alice could see the different parts. It was already burned down and probably, half its structure will not be able to survive anymore. The cement was dripping like water from its structure.

Coming down the stairs, she saw the giant hill in the middle and where all the soldiers were resting for the night. On seeing their arrival, all of them got up to bow in respect.

"Prince and Princess!"

"Stand Inline!" Cyrus’s strict voice assembled them to stand in the line.

There were a total of seven she viewed currently. As her brain functions, most of them were confidential to Cyrus. Probably she should also learn about their names and have an official introduction.

Cyrus coughed and then said, "Everyone, she is Princess Alice, the crowned princess of Suzania Kingdom. I know most of you didn’t know that she is from the Suzania Kingdom but remember that, she is still my wife. No matter what, protect her as you protect me. Serve her as you serve me. Your Loyalty shouldn’t shake when it comes to her. Do you all understand!?"

"YES, PRINCE!"

"Good." Cyrus commented and then, his eyes averted to look behind him, finding his wife too gazing at his face, "I will introduce you to them. From the left, he is Drake, Simon, Domez, Pete, Shane, V, and Adonis. Shane is the first in charge of the entire group, making him one who is bestowed with any danger. If you have any queries or worries, you can also share them with Shane."

Cyrus’s explanation made Alice pass him a nod and then look back at the man. They were simply not so looking either. But knowing that she was standing amidst all the vampires raised her concern.

"T-they all are vampires, right?"

"Vampires with each one possessing something different too."

"I understand," Alice said.

Having said this, Cyrus moved his head once again back to holders who weren’t surprised but somewhere frozen on the spot to see a human right in front of them. ’This came as a good surprise to them..’ since both the parties will need to show some adjustment, he would least expect any disagreement from those.

"We shall leave now. Probably, the rumor about us leaving Gazelle kingdom must have spread across the Empire like air." Cyrus made out the fun to point out at the entrance.

It was decided that all of them will go on foot. Since they all were near the north Empire, supposedly, reaching up to the nearby Empire and asking for the horse was the pretty much better option in their eyes.

The entire group took the lead and the soldiers carried the stuff required for them on their journey. Alice simply wore her regular gown and walked with Cyrus, hand in hand.

Coming out from the castle under the scorching sun made her lower her eyelashes.

’It is seriously hot here..’ knowing that it used to be a gazelle kIngdom, it was surprising to witness. But Alice decided to fight herself against the thought and walk on her feet along with the rest of them.

They were going through the patchy pathway, despite it not being the best, but as told by Shane, it was the earliest way to reach the near kingdom. "Our first priority is to get the horses." was announced Cyrus in front of everyone too.

With the slow and steady steps, they all paced on their way. Under the way through which they went, it was still not as much invaded by the sun. But keeping their heads up, all of them maintained the same calmness.

After the time and the sun had moved in the direction, they had finally reached up to the near Empire of the North. They stood in the center of the town, in the middle of all the hustle-bustle happening.

Alice roasted her head to lift her eyes, "Do we have enough pennies and silver coins to buy horses?"

"No." Cyrus bluntly answered.

"If not, then how are we going to buy them? And, if you want me to make you remember then, the coins of this kingdom must be different from ours."

Alice’s words didn’t change Cyrus’s plastered expressions. Even at this point, Cyrus was preferably glancing at people and the few areas where the horses can be available for them.

At the same time, receiving no positive answer from her husband finally made love to turn her face and ask others, "Shane, do you have any further plans?"

"Princess, we have to get a horse to reach up to the Ontex Empire. But, getting a horse here is pretty expensive. As you do, we have pennies of our Empire, out here. It will be pretty difficult." hearing this, a frown curved on Alice’s face.

’Didn’t we all know this before?’ Alice’s mind can’t help but shutter and found all the people around her to be extremely stupid. She massaged her head with the time and then, asked again, "How many horses do we need now?"

"Two to three will be fine for us," Shane answered, still not able to comprehend what Princess was planning in her brain to the point.

Just seeing her facial expression, he could guess vibrantly that she was smarter to work with.

Neither did Alice say anything nor did she mumble. Simply leaving Cyrus’s hands, Alice walked further.

Because she wore the normal piece, it didn’t bother her much to cover up her identity either. Yet walking in the horse shop, she walked closer to the few horses there and smiled. At the same time, her gaze traveled to see the master who was in the stable.

"These horses are beautiful! Are these yours, gentlemen?"

The soft voice attracted the man’s attention, who saw a beautiful lady appearing in his place, "Absolutely mine, lady! They all are mine! We sell them when one requires it."

"Oh...so they all must be really brave, won’t they?" Alice inquired while making sure it sweet sugar her words.

She wasn’t only interested to gain attention but her wicked mind worked totally different from what one could imagine right off. A few steps ahead, Alice got closer to one of the white horses. Bringing her head up, Alice massaged its head and caressed its soft fur, "Hmm...they appear so soft and obedient. I don’t know what you make them eat.."

"That’s nothing!" The man was getting prompted for a compliment from a lady like her. She left no stone unturned and met all of the horses like she was in love with them. Her sweet and charming nature didn’t let suspicion be raised by the man either. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖

But outside, from a distant view, Cyrus’s hands were converted into a fist. He observed how Alice softly and naturally talked with the owner of the horse shop.

There was the murderous mist gathering around him.

Shane and the rest of the soldiers witnessed how gloomy their Prince appeared to them right now. "Prince..Princess is just trying to lure.."

"Shut up! I know!’’ The clear-cut blunt answer made all of them gulp the saliva present in their mouth.

On the other hand, Alice was smiling at the gentleman before she blinked her eyes twice, "So, you take them to eat and walk at night? But, isn’t that the day’s work?"

"At night, everyone is asleep and these horses can’t run away anywhere, lady." The gentleman easily revealed the wordings, which brought a giant grin to Alice’s face.

Heart eyes curved upwards at the thought when she passed him a nod. "Absolutely..."

Her hands caressed the white horse and then walked to the next one. It was a grayish kind of horse, yet she did the same with him. Even the horse reacted warmly to her touches.

After caressing a few horses with her sweet gestures, she exited the shop after bidding goodbye to the gentleman.

Afterward, Alice once again gathered together with Cyrus and his group, who were looking at her solemnly. "Princess, what did you do?" It was Shane who questioned with doubt.

Alice passed him a small smile before she averted her glances back to view her husband, still not able to cope with her flirting with someone else.

But to coax him down, Alice brought her hands around his arm to massage them and mutter.

"We will have to wait for the night. Get ready, we will steal them under that man’s nose!"
