His Witch Queen-Chapter 117: Alice’s turn..!

The shock was written on everyone’s faces. They had their mind being rotated in the thirty-degree since it was the indigestible fact inside their brain that something major could be taken up by Cyrus.

"Perfect! Your personal maids along with the regular maids will also be tested in this." He said honestly and without any delay, the substances were brought up by the soldiers which he treasured

The water which Alice had told him was already there in the different cups. One by one, he had given the look to the soldier to start the process once the ladies were standing in their lane.

Even all the maids were asked to leave all other chores of the castle and show up at the courtroom, which they did in the next few minutes.

Meanwhile, the gent, who sat at their seat in the courtroom, were already feeling the intensity was very much big in the entire room.

But their gaze had caught the sight of the lady Alice who was to be present. Especially when she was standing just beside Lady Ashley, who was a noble too. ’Who is she?’ It was the same question that went through every brain...

But because of the seriousness of the current situation, they had to refrain from it afterward. While Alice’s eyes roamed in all directions, she saw that this courtroom was very well built. It had all the things required, and it appeared the giant as that of the Suzania Kingdom too.

There was no change since there was no trace of the poison available on her hands either. On her seeing, Cyrus also asked her to step aside and stand with Lady Tia. Following his orders, Lady Sierra came to the other side of the court.

Now, it was the term of Lady Ashley. She stuck her hand like regular and once the black-lined water was poured on her hand, Lady Ashley felt a slight irritation on her hand, "This...is itchy!"

When the turn came on her, only Cyrus knew how he had stopped his heart from being. ’She had touched the bangle but with a scarf..will the poison come on her hands..?’ He was confused and it made his heart race.

If it was, he had no idea how to defend her but somehow, his mind worked all others and knowing that if it turns green, there is a reason he might lay out.

At such a thought that came inside Cyrus’s mind, he had taken the ports to cough a bit and gain their attention, "Just do it.."

Alice looked above her eyes to see him worried but trying his best to not react much. Peacefully, Alice extended her hand and the soldier poured the water on her hand.

Just then, Alice had felt the sharp pain in her hand but not trying to bring it to her face, Alice had kept a neutral expression with also of a hard time on her way.

As she managed to get her heart the beads too. She waited and waited, but the pain only increased with time.

Subconsciously Alice had to close her eyes since she couldn’t help but feel that the burning was racing in her head very badly. Everyone had noted her expressions, it had put them all at alert. Even Cyrus had no option but to feel the cautious tape being wrapped around his heart

’Is...her hand going to turn green?’ and he had lastly hoped for that sign since it will put them all at risk.. sheltered her as a traitor too.

Simply, the thought was enough for Cyrus to feel the shattering of his heart deep inside of his body. Despite acting ruthless, he had no idea but he was surely being cautious for his wife...out of the blue..

Gulping the saliva, he can’t help but mutter, "Princess....your..."

"It hurts a lot." She had honest answers and it was evident through her expression too. It was almost visible that she wasn’t in any good condition at this point either.

And immediately, everyone’s gaze went to trace her hand..finding that her hand...
