His Witch Queen-Chapter 112: Poisoned...!

After that time, Alice had already shown inside her room. With the letter in her hand, only she knew how much her heart raced.

Moreover, getting the telegram from her father and brother..that too for the first time after so long made her emotional.

Running back to her room, Alice immediately sat on her bed. Sitting there, she had reopened the letter in her hand to read it in her heart.

There, it was clearly mentioned that Ava Fedrick had died but...her father being her father..he had also asked about how she is and her wellbeing. Her heart skipped at the thought when a faint smell curved. ’How much I miss you father and brother..’

Living in a new place wasn’t an easy task and she was carrying it out beautifully...

At the same time, she heard the steps behind her. Turning around, she found Cyrus at the door of the chamber. Standing on her toes, her lips parted to speak, "Cyrus.."

"Who was there to meet you?" Despite knowing, Cyrus had decided to ask her instead.

"He was my father’s personal general. He had something to deliver and give the news to me." Alice told him, which he easily believed. "What kind of news? Is there anything serious?"

"No-No... it’s simple..someone died in our empire so it came to the news of her death." Alice didn’t give insight on the details and Cyrus had simply given her a nod.

Then, he went straight to change his clothes and remove the fighting clothes.

However, looking at his back, Alice’s heart had surely skipped. He had removed all his upper clothes, with his naked chest and back coming in her sight.

Subconsciously Alice had clutched the letter into her hand tightly without tearing her gaze off him, "Um..Cyrus...you should wear clothes.."

"Hmm. Get me that blue-colored dress. I will wear that for today." In Cyrus’s words, Alice walked to his wooden closet to find that there was no one but a different kind of dress of the same color. "Which one?"

"One at the right corner of the upper shelf." He guided her hand on his words, Alice’s eyes traced to find the one he asked for. Taking the same dress into both of her hands, Alice had turned around to find that he had gone behind the net divider that was present in the room to change the clothes.

’Can’t he just go and change in the bathroom?’ she was doubtful but keeping her eyes low, Alice had gone to the corner to keep that dress on the table, "Here are these. Take them from h-"

Her speech halted in the middle when suddenly Alice felt the jerk. Her wrist was caught and she was immediately pulled by Cyrus behind the same shield on the net.

With herself colliding against his body, Alice’s hand had been put on his broad shoulder.

Her wide eyes were astonished and taken back by a sudden moment. "Y-You! Cyrus!"

"Shh.....don’t yell otherwise if someone else passes from outside, they will mishear things." Cyrus’s warning made her cheeks blush. How can he say this so openly to her?

At this stage, Alice hurriedly wanted to make him remove his hand on her waist but it appeared to be almost impossible. His tight grip was hard enough for her to invade.

Similarly, Cyrus simply saw her trying to get outta his embrace. He won’t deny that a chuckle had passed from his slips. The fact that Alice had no option left but to talk excited him too.

"C’MON Princess Alice, you are wasting your energy on nothing." Cyrus had honestly told her, to which Alice passed him the deadly glare. "Who the hell actually wraps his wand around like this!?"

"Every husband does this to his wife so am I. is this wrong?" Cyrus’s intimate voice only made the chills down Alice’s spine. Her face was turning red as tomato puree. "T-this..ain’t right..."

"Then what is a right miss. Tell me about it." Cyrus didn’t bulge and it only raced her heart. She wasn’t in the right spot to even converse with this perverted vampire for now.

Moreover, his actions only added others to her current furries. While hesitation crawled under Alice’s heart, she had only passed his daggers in return. "Cyrus.... leave me."

"No."

"Why?"

"Because..." coming near her ears, Cyrus’s hot breath lingered on her naked skin. The same spot appeared to be her sensitive one. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

As her eyes widened, Alice had subconsciously drugged her nails hard into his flesh, trying hard to find herself out.

Yet, Cyrus didn’t leave any space for her either, "You would have won the battle, Princess. But too bad that you got distracted."

"But I must say that you have strong willpower. As you said, destiny doesn’t help every time, then shall I show you my skills here too?" Cyrus’s words only made Alice breathe to halt in the middle.

She hadn’t idea why Cyrus was misbehaving in such a vicious manner. But surely, it was the layout of her excavation. "Cyrus...I..I meant the fight battles.."

"But you said about my skills. I have many skills to showcase. Now that you have already seen the swordsmanship skills, I think you should be also apprised of the new.."

At this point, Cyrus noted how Alice had turned redder than the hot wing. She was blushing, or probably embarrassed by such loose talk. ’Tsk tsk...how odd is it that the Princess of Suzania Kingdom is so unfit in the matters of flitting?’

He had seen countless people doing so, talking in an effective manner. Yet this didn’t hold the string of his heart and such a craving never occurred. But now, things were slightly dynamic and when he had first teased her at the battleground, he had obviously seen the glinting her eyes.

The same glint made him happier, and the craving to have fun with her just with talks increased rapidly.

Whereas Alice knew that she was burning red all around. It was on her nerves to end this and get this breath out of herself. "Listen, I never meant that! Don’t twist my words like this! I simply meant the battles and the swordsmanship."

"You are most welcome to show your skills to someone else..I’m not interested." Alice pressed the pressure on her words rightly but Cyrus had hardly bought it, "Are you sure that you aren’t an interested lady? Don’t joke with me."

"I’m deadly sure!"

KNOCK!

The sudden knock on the door of their chamber alarmed them. Immediately, their both’s eyes flew to find that there was a maid, who had her eyes down on the floor and spoke, "Princess...Crown Prince..that-there is...your presence needed.."

"What happened?’ It Was Cyrus who asked, without giving Alice any chance to react sooner.

Whereas, Alice had simply looked at Cyrus and then at the maid. Even though the maid had appeared, Cyrus had not loosened his grip around her. ’Why can’t he just let me go now!’

’Didn’t he just warn me before that if I scream, someone might hear my words?’ and now that there was amid standing at the entrance, he is acting as if nothing is happening? Is this vampire sick in his own mind? Who knows!

Meanwhile, Cyrus’s gaze was fixed on the maid whose lips were trembling badly. Though she tried her best to act bravely, the flag was easily pulled off due to her trembling hands.

"I asked, what is that? If there is nothing, get out of here!" Cyrus’s order was almost clear, but the maid’s eyes were already filled with wetness.

"P-Prince Cyrus...there..." the maid had automatically stepped inside the room. Not only was she shocked but it was getting difficult to find the words to describe, "Lady Aura..."

"What happened to Lady Aura?" It Was Alice whose question came instantly. As the name was heard, Cyrus had immediately let Alice slip away from his embrace since both of the attention were pulled by this maid.

Alice walked towards the maid with her focussed eyes, "Tell me! What happened to lady Aura?"

"S-she....you both should come with me and see her." The maid had only been able to let these words out. First of all, the maid had disturbed the intimate moment among their couple and secondly, the thought that she might be given the death sentences because of her intuition made her shiver baldy

"Just tell me!"

Alice had raised her voice and felt that the maid was simply dragging. It squeezed her heart, as the thought something bad happened to Lady Aura struck her mind. "I ASKED YOU!"

"Someone has..poisoned lady Aura."
