His soul-Chapter 483: Please, be patient!
In nearly sixty years of life, Julian had never felt such a strange feeling as today. Since opening his eyes he always imagined the face of Gina, his first daughter with Sandra. Even though Rosa and Selena were with him right now, Julian was thinking about Gina, something he had never done before.
"Daddy why? Daddy looks nervous." Rosa, who had been holding back from asking questions, finally ran out of patience.
Selena, who had been holding Rosa from asking questions, immediately elbowed Rosa’s waist. "Ishh.. you!"
Getting a warning from her brother didn’t scare Rosa, Rosa just shrugged her shoulders up before finally pulling her seat closer to her father.
"Gina..."
Rosa and Selena who were looking at each other immediately turned to their father at the same time.
"Daddy wants to see Gina?" This time Selena immediately asked before Rosa.
Slowly Julian looked at Selena and Rosa’s faces alternately. "Daddy suddenly misses Gina."
"Gina?" Selena and Rosa asked simultaneously.
"Yeah, Daddy’s been feeling really restless since last night and Gina’s face keeps popping up in Daddy’s head," Julian answered honestly. "Since childhood, Gina has never felt Daddy’s love and lately Daddy’s thoughts are almost always on her."
Selena took Julian’s hand and squeezed it gently. "Daddy want me to call Gina?"
Julian’s eyes flashed with excitement. "You don’t mind doing that?"
Selena chuckled. "Of course not, I’ll take my phone first, Dad."
"Thank you dear," said Julian full of emotion.
Selena pursed her lips hearing her father’s words, because her cell phone was in the room, Selena immediately went to the second floor to get her cellphone which was turned off because it was charging. Since deciding not to work anymore in the fashion show, Selena no longer lives with her cell phone as she used to, the smart phone is now mostly just lying on the table or disabled.
As Selena went up to the second floor, Rosa tried to calm her father down by giving him a gentle massage on his shoulder. "Gina will be fine, Dad. Massimo has changed, he wouldn’t dare hurt Gina. He loves Gina so much."
"That’s why Daddy’s not calm," said Julian hoarsely.
Rosa raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean Daddy? I don’t understand."
"Massimo loves Gina too much and a man who loves his partner too much will usually be blinded by everything from his surroundings to his sanity. If he is angry he will not realize whether his actions are dangerous or not, Daddy is afraid if Massimo loses control again like five years ago." Julian spoke his heart out in a barely audible voice. "Daddy talks like this because when Daddy was young, Daddy was blinded by love until finally I was not aware of the real world."
"Daddy," Rosa breathed nervously. "Don’t talk like that, Massimo and Gina will be fine."
Julian pursed his lips. "Daddy hope so too."
Surprisingly Rosa grabbed Julian’s hand and squeezed it tightly. "If Massimo dares to mess with Gina then I’ll be the first to slap him, I promise."
"You dare slap Massimo?" asked Julian quietly, holding back a laugh.
"Why not? Massimo is still human, he’s not lucifer so I can still slap him," answered Rosa confidently. "I won’t let my sister get hurt by that man again."
"Thank you Rosa, thank you for loving and caring for Gina," said Julian quietly, his chest felt warm when he heard Rosa’s words.
Rose smiled. "I should have been doing this from the start of Gina’s arrival, Dad. I’m sorry for all the mistakes I made in the past for being so unkind to Gina."
"It’s ok honey, everyone makes mistakes. Daddy also does a lot of wrong to Gina, that’s why Daddy wants to fix everything and Daddy is grateful that you and Selena now accept Gina’s presence,"
"Daddy..."
"That’s weird, Gina’s cell number is off." From the second floor Selena shouted loudly, Julian and Rosa immediately turned their faces towards the stairs to see Selena who was going down the stairs.
Realizing that she was the center of attention from her father and sister, Selena quickened her steps. She even almost fell on the stairs if she didn’t hold on to Diego who suddenly appeared.
"Oh Jesus... be careful Selena! You’re not a child, why do you have to run up the stairs like this, huh?" Diego rebuked annoyed.
Selena, who didn’t expect to see Diego at home, looked very surprised, it was proven that she didn’t let go of Diego’s arms even though she was already down the stairs. 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂
"How long are you going to hug me like this?"
Selena, who had realized her mistake, immediately released her arms from Diego’s body. "Tch, who wants to hug you anyway?"
"Thank you," Diego said curtly. "Shouldn’t have said that after I helped, if it wasn’t for me you might have fallen on the floor by now with your face crushed from kissing the floor so hard."
"Wicked."
Diego chuckled. "So don’t run down the stairs, you’re not a kid anymore, Selena."
"Yeah sorry, I was in a hurry."
"In a hurry? Where do you want to go?"
"Not going anywhere, I just wanted to tell Daddy about Gina."
One of Diego’s eyebrows rose. "About Gina? What’s going on..."
"Come here, Son." From the sofa Julian cut Diego’s words.
Hearing his father’s voice made Diego immediately turn his face towards the sofa where his father and Rosa were sitting.
Selena, who couldn’t wait to tell him about Gina, grabbed Diego’s hand and pulled her to the sofa to join Rosa and her father. As soon as her buttocks touched the soft sofa, Selena immediately lifted her phone into the air, showing it to her father. "Gina’s number is off, Dad."
"Then Massimo?" asked Rosa quickly.
Serena shook her head. "I don’t have his cell number, so how can I contact him."
Diego, who didn’t understand where his two younger siblings were talking, immediately grabbed Selena and Rosa’s hands tightly at the same time. "What’s the matter? What happened to Gina? Did Massimo hurt her again like that time?" Diego’s hazel eyes flashed with anger as he spoke.
"Daddy’s just missing Gina, son," said Julian softly. "Nothing bad happened."
Diego immediately turned his gaze to his father quickly. "Just miss Gina?"
"Yes, since last night Daddy missed Gina."
"Daddy isn’t lying to me?" Diego asked coldly.
Julian smiled. "No, why would Daddy lie."
"Then why did Selena get so panicked earlier?"
"Ish, I’m not panicking. I was just too excited, that’s why I almost fell," said Selena quickly defending herself.
Seeing the children arguing Julian smiled a little, his attention to Gina was divided. Rosa, who had been silent for a while, chose to reach for Selena’s cell phone which was lying on the table, out of curiosity Rosa tried to contact Gina again. But the result is nil, Gina’s cellphone is really not active.
"If Daddy wants, I can find Massimo’s new house to pick up Gina," Diego said suddenly.
"No, don’t do that, Son. Daddy thinks it’s unethical, Massimo will be angry if you pick up Gina at their house. After all, Gina already has a husband now." Julian forbids Diego’s plans to pick up Gina.
"But..."
"What Daddy said is true, Diego," said Rosa quietly cutting Diego’s words. "Gina already has a family of her own, we can’t interfere too much."
"But what if that bastard repeated what he did five years ago?"
"Then Massimo’s opponent will be Daddy, Daddy will make the revenge on him. Daddy swears." Julian confidently answered Diego’s question.
Diego, Selena and Rosa were silent hearing the words of their father, they could not believe that they would hear such words from the father’s lips. This is not without basis, so far Julian has had a weak image in the eyes of his children. Therefore, when he spoke like that his three children were quite surprised.

Gina woke up from her sleep when the sun had been replaced by the moon, with a slightly dizzy head Gina tried to turn on the night light that was on the nightstand because the condition of her room was currently pitch black. The first thing Gina did when she woke up was to drink, her throat felt really dry after sleeping for hours.
"Hungry, honey?" Gina said softly while feeling her stomach, the corners of her eyes staring at the sandwich package that was on her new dining table. Fearing that the sandwich was no longer fit to eat, Gina decided to go down to the supermarket in the lobby of her apartment to look for fresher food.
After washing her pale face, Gina then left her room. As long as Gina walked towards the elevator she didn’t meet anyone, it seemed like all the other residents of the apartment were asleep. Luckily Gina had lived in this apartment building for several months, so she didn’t feel afraid when she had to be in the elevator alone in the middle of the night like this.
As soon as the elevator door opened, Gina immediately walked towards the convenience store, which was now quite deserted. There are only a few buyers in the shop that provide various needs for apartment residents.
"Good evening, can I help you, Miss?"
Gina smiled. "I want hot sausage and a cup of Korean ramen."
"There are more?"
"Hmmm what, I think that’s two enough. I’ll just eat it here," replied Gina politely.
"Wait a minute, I will prepare your order."
Gina nodded enthusiastically in response to the words of the female cashier who had just served her, in less than three minutes Gina’s order was ready. After making the payment Gina rushed to the chair provided by the microwave to enjoy her very late dinner.
As soon as the ramen noodles touched the tongue, Gina’s eyes filled with tears. Given that instant noodles are such a not-so-healthy food makes Gina sad, she feels guilty for her innocent child in her stomach.
"I’m sorry, baby. You have to enjoy this unhealthy food. Mommy promises, tomorrow Mommy will look for healthier food for you. So tonight please cooperate with Mommy, Mommy is really hungry, dear," Gina said quietly. Gina hopes she won’t throw up after eating the ramen. Tonight Gina wants to sleep well.
