His soul-Chapter 482: Back to the first house

Lying staring at the ceiling of the room that had only been occupied for a few days made Gina’s chest tighten, Gina’s tears continued to flow silently, wetting the pillow on which she was leaning. Gina still hopes that all of this is just a dream, several times Gina tries to close her eyes hoping when she wakes up everything is still okay. Trying not to cry Gina dragged her suitcase out of the room, some of the maids who had been told by Martin were seen holding back tears when they saw the mistress carrying her suitcase from the room.

"Let me help you, madam." A young maid who had talked for a long time with Gina yesterday suddenly grabbed the suitcase that was in Gina’s hand.

Gina looked up at the young maid who had just spoken to her. "I can carry it myself."

The young maid shook her head quickly, unable to contain herself finally the maid hugged Gina tightly. The sound of her crying was then clearly heard, several other maids who saw the scene could only lower their heads. They didn’t have the courage like her friend to hug Gina like that.

"Agnes, madam."

"Agnes, what a great name," Gina complimented sincerely. "Thank you for everything Agnes."

The young servant who just said her name shook her head again. "No madam, you don’t need to thank me. This is my job."

Gina pursed her lips, trying to smile. "Nice to meet you Agnes."

"Madam..."

"I’m fine, come accompany me down. My taxi has arrived, right?"

Agnes nodded slowly. "Yes ma’am."

"Good, let’s go down."

With cold hands, Agnes then grabbed the handle of the suitcase that Gina was still holding. When Gina was about to start walking several other maids suddenly came near Gina and immediately hugged her at the same time. Solidarity among women made the maid forget her social status by daring to hug Gina, Gina who had been trying to hold back tears finally started crying again. Her defenses crumbled as the maids tried to support her.

Agnes, who was no longer crying, started crying again when she saw her other friends cry, even though they had only known Gina for three days, Gina’s friendly attitude made an impression on all of them. Because of that they were devastated when Martin was told about her divorce. Not wanting to make the taxi driver wait too long, Gina finally asked the waiters to let go of her arms. Together with Agnes who had brought her suitcase first, Gina walked down the stairs to the exit.

"Take care of yourselves and thank you," Gina said back in a hoarse voice.

"You also take good care of yourself, madam," answered Agnes, stuttering.

Gina nodded slowly. "Certainly."

After giving her last hug, Gina finally got into the taxi that had been waiting for her for thirty minutes. With the cries of her maids, Gina left Massimo’s new house with her head down.

"Please change the path." Gina hoarsely asked the taxi driver not to take her home to her family.

"Where’s madam?"

Gina said the address of her old apartment in a barely audible voice.

"Okay madam, I will immediately take you to the address you mentioned," replied the taxi driver in a friendly manner.

"Thank you," Gina said sincerely.

The taxi driver nodded his head slowly in response to Gina’s words, because he didn’t want to disturb Gina, the taxi driver finally turned his attention back to the road. After knowing who would be escorted, the taxi driver became more friendly. In a not so long time the taxi finally arrived at its destination, just like before leaving, the taxi driver helped Gina carefully lower her suitcase from the trunk.

"This..."

"You don’t have to pay anymore, madam. Your trip has been paid for by the man with the glasses before ordering this taxi," replied the taxi driver kindly.

"M-martin?"

"That’s right, Mr. Martin. Earlier some of the maids in the house had said the name of the bespectacled man politely."

Gina’s lips curved. "Thank you for the help."

"You’re welcome, Madame, I’m sorry. Good afternoon," said the taxi driver again before finally getting into his taxi and leaving Gina alone.

After the taxi that took her away, Gina then stepped into the lobby of her old apartment. Remembering that Massimo had never sold her old apartment, Gina decided to return to the place where she first lived when she only came to Barcelona seven years ago. Luckily, Gina still remembers her apartment password well, so she doesn’t have any trouble getting in, but because it hasn’t been occupied for a long time, the studio type room is now filled with very suffocating dust. Gina’s intention to live in her old apartment failed.

"Looks like I have to ask someone to help clean this place," Gina said softly from behind the hand she was using to cover her nose and mouth from the dust. "I can’t stay in this place if there’s still a lot of dust like this."

Because remembering that inside her body there was a small creature that was growing, Gina then rushed out of the very dirty room to get some fresh air. After successfully exiting Gina immediately took a deep breath to fill her dry lungs, holding her breath for almost two minutes made her look very tired. Whereas in the past, when she was very diligent in exercising, holding her breath for more than two minutes was an easy thing for her. It seems that being pregnant really has a big impact on Gina’s body.

Luckily when Gina was confused about what to do from the elevator, two cleaners appeared, without thinking twice, Gina immediately asked for their help to clean her room. Having no other purpose to go, Gina decides to wait in the lobby apartment when her room is cleaned. Since all the things in the room had been mixed with dust for too long, Gina decided to throw them all away and buy a new one. And to take care of all that, Gina entrusted her to the two cleaners she had just met.

After waiting for almost three hours, Gina’s apartment room was finished cleaning. The new bed and dining table have also been neatly arranged, as are other equipment, ranging from television and cooking utensils.

"Welcome to your new home, honey," Gina said softly while touching her stomach when she returned to her apartment, which was much better than before.

Gina’s decision to ask for help from the janitor who she accidentally met was right, because they are professional cleaners who have lots of sophisticated equipment so that in a short time the room that was previously full of dust now looks very clean. Likewise with the bathroom, it really doesn’t look like a room that has been abandoned for more than five years.

Because she was very tired, Gina chose to sleep. The unbearable drowsiness made Gina forget the hunger that was currently bothering her stomach, Gina was too tired to just eat the sandwich she had bought from the supermarket in the lobby of the previous apartment. In less than twenty-four hours Gina really experienced so many unexpected events, the first love that had occupied her heart for years crushed her to the bottom without a trace. Massimo del Cano, the man who found true love, easily dumped her without a second thought.
