His soul-Chapter 309: Different level
The video Lucas showed really bothered Gina, seeing Massimo pointing at Brandon and Francia as they spoke made Gina’s heart ache. Francia was her first friend in Barcelona, more or less Francia had contributed to Gina. Because of that at this moment Gina’s feelings are really messy. Her intention to have fun on the beach vanished instantly, Gina finally decided to return to the hotel room. Worried about the madam’s drastic change in attitude, Darius then reported it to Martin.
As soon as she entered the room, Gina immediately sat in front of the door. Gina recalled Lucas’ words before parting a while ago.
’Don’t call me by phone or email to find out more, Gina. If you want to know everything, meet me at my appointed place in three days from now.’
Gina slowly leaned her head against the door with her eyes closed. "Why did Lucas forbid me to contact him, it seems that something has happened," Gina said softly as she touched her cellphone which had been in her pocket.
Suddenly feeling nauseous, Gina decided to get up from the floor and switch to the sofa that was near the balcony overlooking the sea she had just left. Without changing clothes, Gina then lay down on the sofa. Gina has been like this twice, every time she meets Lucas something bad happens to her. If a few months ago her left leg was fractured, now at the second meeting, Gina feels tight. Seeing her best friend being mistreated by Massimo made Gina feel sick, whereas previously Massimo had looked fine when he talked about Francia and her family. Even though she had shared a bed with Massimo for almost three months, it turned out that Gina still didn’t know the man’s true nature. Massimo is really very hard to read.
Thinking of Lucas’ words made Gina finally close her eyes, the grains of sand that were still left on her legs and dress were seen littering the floor and the sofa where she was currently sleeping.

As soon as he heard Martin’s report, Massimo decided to go straight back to the hotel even though his business with the RedDevil employees had not been completed. Massimo asked Martin to move on, take his place and return to the hotel alone. Frustrated, Massimo drove his car at high speed. Luckily the distance between the hotel where he was staying and RedDevil was not too far, so in less than twenty minutes Massimo’s car finally arrived in the hotel grounds safely.
Massimo immediately jumped out of his car and ran into the hotel, his goal being to meet Gina as soon as possible. Knowing Gina had been missing for almost ten minutes at the beach made Massimo almost go mad. In the past, Massimo easily got and dumped any woman he wanted, but now that Gina appears in his life all the things that Massimo used to do in the past can no longer be repeated. Gina is too special and hard to compare. Because of that Massimo would not do anything to tie Gina to his side, even if he had to use unreasonable means.
Arriving in the room, Massimo immediately looked around looking for Gina’s figure. His chest that had been tight since a while ago suddenly felt relieved when he saw Gina who was lying on the sofa. With steps that Massimo dragged toward Gina, Massimo slowly knelt beside the sofa.
Massimo moved his hand, smoothing the hair that covered Gina’s pretty face which looked a little pale.
"You almost gave me a heart attack, Gina," Massimo said quietly, his eyes wet as he spoke.
Gina, who had not yet fallen asleep, finally opened her eyes slowly when she felt the coldness of Massimo’s fingers touching her.
"Honey..."
Gina pursed her lips. "It’s finished?"
Massimo shook his head. "Not yet, Martin is taking my place to lead the meeting."
"Oh."
Massimo smiled, slowly bringing his lips to Gina’s forehead. "I went straight to the hotel when I found out Darius reported that you had been missing for ten minutes at the beach, my mind went crazy right then. That’s why I went straight back to the hotel."
"I’m not disappearing, I’m just enjoying another area that Darius doesn’t see," Gina lied, she couldn’t possibly tell Massimo the real reason because it would make things messy. Now that Gina must know the truth about what Lucas said about his accusations against Massimo, Gina wants to end things with Lucas. At least if what Lucas said wasn’t true about Massimo then Gina could have good reason to ask Lucas to stay away from her.
"An area that Darius doesn’t see?" Massimo repeated Gina’s words.
"Yes, the condition of the beach was a little crowded. There were several other hotel guests who were also enjoying the beauty of the beach."
The worried glint in Massimo’s eyes had not gone away. "Next time don’t do it again, my love. When you are away from me you have to obey Darius or the others, they are an extension of me."
Massimo nodded slowly. "Sorry."
"It’s ok, My love. But I beg you please don’t do it again,"
"Yes."
As if not satisfied, Massimo suddenly raised his little finger in the air. "Pinky promise."
"Eh?"
Seeing Gina confused, Massimo got up from the floor and helped Gina to sit up. After that Massimo linked his little finger to Gina’s. "Pinky promise," he repeated, repeating what he had said earlier.
What, Massimo del Cano doing a pinky promise?
Gina chuckled amused at Massimo’s childish behavior. "Really?"
"Yes."
"Ok, I promise I won’t run away from Darius or the others anymore," Gina said softly with a smile.
"Good girl and now say ’I love you, Massimo’ softly."
"Massimo," Gina breathed hoarsely. "You’re so childish."
"Please," Massimo begged back.
Cup..
Cup..
Cup...
Gina quickly planted kisses on Massimo’s forehead, right cheek and left cheek.
"How? Have you calmed down now?"
Massimo shook his head. "Not yet, missed here," said Massimo softly as he touched his lips.
"You pervert!"
Massimo chuckled. "Only to you I am like this, Gina."
"Lie."
"I’m serious," Massimo answered loudly, his grip on Gina’s arm getting tighter. "Doubt me?"
Gina was silent, her eyes staring at Massimo’s blue beads without blinking for a few minutes. Until finally Gina opened her lips and said. "Is there nothing you want to tell me, Massimo?"
"I’ve told you everything, even the reason behind me getting these tattoos I’ve also told you. I have no more secrets that I still keep from you, Gina. I really have told you the truth," said Massimo seriously.
There was a hint of disappointment that suddenly assaulted Gina at this time, the video that Lucas had previously shown her replayed in her memory.
"You trust me, don’t you?" repeated Massimo again.
Gina nodded slowly. "Yes, I believe in you."
Hearing Gina’s words made Massimo’s smile widen, while still smiling Massimo grabbed Gina’s body in his arms. Several times Massimo landed a kiss on the top of Gina’s head.
"I really love you, Gina," Massimo said in a low, half-whispered voice. "Don’t leave me, like my mother left my father and me."
"I love you too, Massimo. Don’t let me down."
"No, I will never let you down. Only you will be the only woman in my life, Gina," Massimo said seriously.
Gina immediately closed her eyes, Gina felt that Massimo had not said all the things she wanted to hear. Although since one week ago Gina had decided to accept Massimo and open his heart for that man but today, when Lucas came suddenly doubts arose in her.
"I’m hungry, Massimo," Gina said quietly, changing the subject.
Massimo immediately let go of his arms and looked at Gina without blinking. "Hungry, don’t tell me you didn’t touch the food previously served by..."
"I can’t eat if my nose smells a pungent smell of various perfumes."
"A piercing smell of perfume?"
"Yes, earlier when Lupita and one of the girls served food my appetite disappeared when I smelled their perfume. that stings," Gina answered honestly, Gina deliberately brought Lupita and Aime’s names into their conversation so that Massimo would believe her reasoning. not the main reason, but the perfume from the girls at RedDevil really gave Gina a headache.
Massimo’s gaze darkened. "Oh so it’s because of the perfume that Lupita and Aime wear, huh."
"That girl’s name is Aime? Looks like almost all the girls who work at RedDevil you know."
Damn. Massimo was speechless.
"Not really, I know Aime because Lupita is often with her. You don’t know that I’ve known Lupita for a long time."
"Yes I know."
"Don’t be jealous of them, honey. Raise yourself to the top, your level is different from theirs, baby," said Massimo again, trying to reassure Gina.
Gina suppressed a smile. "I’m not jealous of those who aren’t on the same level as me."
Massimo laughed loudly. "Good girl, I love you Gina."
"Me too."
"Okay let’s eat, I also have to fill my stomach with food. Tonight will be another long night for us."
Gina, who was annoyed with Massimo, immediately landed a punch on Massimo’s chest. "We’re going back to Barcelona this afternoon, Massimo. Tomorrow morning is my first day of college."
"For that matter I’ve asked Martin to sort it out."
Gina shook her head. "Don’t mess around, Massimo. I want to go to college and you promised me you wouldn’t stop me from going to college, didn’t you."
"Yes, I promised, it’s just..."
"Nothing only, I still want to go to school tomorrow morning and tonight we have to go back to Barcelona," protested Gina not wanting to lose.
"You don’t want to have another nice night with me in this hotel again, honey?"
Gina’s cheeks felt hot at the words that had just left Massimo’s lips, during the two nights in Almeria Gina had indeed made Massimo moan loudly almost every time Massimo touched her.
"Don’t want to, hmm?" Massimo repeated his question while squeezing Gina’s ass hard.
"Massimo, I have to go to college," Gina answered hoarsely, trying to hold back the turmoil that burned in her chest, now whenever Massimo touched Gina’s body he always responded.
Massimo smiled, relenting. "All right, let’s go back to Barcelona this afternoon."
"By plane."
"Yes, by plane," said Massimo quietly agreeing with Gina’s words.
Without thinking, Gina wrapped her arms around Massimo’s body. Like a child who just received a gift, Gina kept saying thanks while burying her face in Massimo’s chest which made Massimo smile widely and filled with joy.
