Gina refused to talk to Massimo after overhearing the news about Alexandre and Rosa being forced to stay in the car for two days in a row in front of the castle. Gina felt that Massimo’s attitude had been very cruel this time.

Gina took a deep breath with her left hand already massaging her forehead which suddenly hurt, arguing with Massimo was one thing she could never win.

"Never mind, I don’t want to argue with you anymore. I can ask Rosa directly," Gina said quietly, choosing to end her conversation with Massimo.

Massimo raised his eyebrows when he saw Gina suddenly get up from the chair. "Sit down!"

"I’m full."

"Sit down and continue eating or I’ll have Thomas put another IV on you." Massimo’s voice rose as he spoke. His tone was full of emphasis and sounded very serious.

Gina who had stood up slowly sat back in her chair, not long after that Gina touched her fork again and returned to eating quietly without daring to raise her face to look at Massimo who was stripping her with his sharp gaze.

It was Gina who wanted to rebel and fight Massimo, but her body betrayed her. Every time Massimo spoke in a high pitched voice, Gina’s courage disappeared. Gina had really been very obedient to Massimo. Massimo’s charisma was too strong for Gina to resist.

The butler who had just spoken smiled. "Captain and Master are like that, they are both workaholics."

"Does this kind of thing happen often?" Gina asked quietly without taking her eyes off Massimo who finally entered his study.

"Yes, madam. After a while you will also get used to it," said the butler again with a smile.

"Usually how long would they be in the study when something important like this happened?"

Gina immediately closed her mouth when she realized the golden opportunity that was wide open in front of her eyes, without waiting for a long time Gina immediately got up from her chair and ran quickly towards the stairs to go up to the room. Gina couldn’t wait to take the elevator to her room on the third floor, it was too slow.

Once in the room, Gina immediately grabbed her cellphone which was on the nightstand, lucky Gina had saved the cell phone numbers of all her family members including Diego and her stepmother, Vanessa.

"Pick up, Rosa... I need to talk to you," Gina mumbled softly when Rosa didn’t pick up the call.

Rosa only received Gina’s call after Gina called her for the third time, a serious conversation ensued between Gina and Rosa when they changed their conversation mode to video call.

When Rosa told her where she was, Gina quickly covered her mouth. She couldn’t believe that Rosa would do something so reckless by living with Alexandre.

"Mommy and Selena have been talking nonsense, that’s why they decided to just live with Alexandre. Besides, I’m also old enough to live outside the house," said Rosa softly in a trembling voice.

"You should think carefully before making a decision, Rosa. You are a girl and Alexandre .. "

"Alexandre and I love each other, Alexandre also promised me not to leave me, Gina. You don’t have to worry."

Gina smiled faintly at her stepsister’s words, it felt a little strange to know that someone else knew about her going with Massimo to England.

"So how is it? Can I accompany me to talk to Daddy, Gina?" asked Rosa shortly after, breaking all of Gina’s daydreams.

"Of course so, whenever you’re ready I’ll go straight home."

Rosa’s smile widened. "Thanks, Gina. Thanks for the help, I’ll talk to Alex first. After that I’ll call you back."

"Ok, I’m waiting for further news," Gina replied softly, being able to talk this casually with Rosa made Gina feel happy.

Rosa nodded excitedly. "Okay, I’ll close it and convey my greetings to your husband who .."

"Greetings back to you sister-in-law too." Massimo’s baritone voice was clearly heard by Gina who was sitting on the sofa.

Instantly Gina turned her face away and was surprised to see Massimo already standing speaking to the wall directly behind her.
