Chapter 281: Red wine

Massimo smiled when he saw Gina start to wipe her lips with a tissue, Massimo slowly stroked Gina’s hair gently. "Learn to love and accept me again, Gina. I know you loved me once."

Gina almost choked if she didn’t immediately drink the water that was near her left hand after hearing Massimo’s words, Gina even drank water from another glass which tasted bitter. Wait, bitter?

"Shh... what is this water? Why is it so bitter?" Gina muttered hoarsely while sticking out her tongue trying to get rid of the bitter taste that plagued her taste buds.

"That’s not water, honey. What you’re drinking is whiskey," Massimo said quietly, telling Gina what drink he just had in the middle.

"Whiskey? But why doesn’t it smell?" Gina asked, confused, even though she doesn’t like drinking, Gina is still able to distinguish the type of liquor from its aroma.

"That’s because you’ve had red wine in the meat you eat before, honey."

"Eh?"

Massimo chuckled. "The meat you’ve been eating since earlier was cooked using redwine, the sauce also uses red wine. That’s why when you drink whiskey you can’t smell its very strong aroma."

"You’re kidding, right?"

"No, I’m not joking. Can’t you feel the difference in the taste of the meat you eat?" asked Massimo curiously. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

Gina shook her head slowly. "I feel the meat is just much more tender and juicy."

"It’s ok, let’s continue eating. You’re still hungry, right?" Massimo gave an implied order.

"No, I’m full..."

"No.. no... you’re still hungry, I know. I can still hear the sound of the worms in your stomach protesting, so hurry up and eat again."

Gina blinked at Massimo, her hands slowly touching her flat stomach. "Y-you can hear the sound of worms in my stomach? How can that be?"

"I can, I can do a lot of things you don’t know. So now you eat or I’ll force you to eat something else," said Massimo in a low, half-threatening tone.

Hearing Massimo’s threat made Gina chuckle and continue eating, the choices were the same as before. Eating Foie Gras with meat that has been cooked with red wine. When Gina was eating Massimo chose to keep himself busy by reading some messages that came into his cell phone.

"Stubborn girl," Massimo said in a barely audible voice as he read the message one of his men had sent home.

"Hm, are you talking to me?" asked Gina suddenly with her mouth full of food.

"No, I didn’t say anything."

"Really? But I was vague... ooucchh Massimo, it hurts!!"

Massimo chuckled. "So focus on your food and don’t talk, or you might choke."

Gina was still grumbling while touching her cheek which was sore from being pinched by Massimo, but she couldn’t help but continue to eat doing what Massimo gave her.

Not wanting to interrupt Gina’s meal, Massimo finally got up from the sofa and walked to the window, Massimo then engaged in a serious conversation that Gina couldn’t hear. Not wanting to waste food, Gina chose to continue to fill her rumbling stomach with delicious food in front of her. Of all the delicious food available on the table, Gina’s choice was still focused on the steak cooked with a special technique using red wine. Gina felt the meat became much more delicious and Gina liked it. Gina sure can still compromise with the alcohol contained in the food.

After twenty minutes passed, Gina finally put her spoon on the plate after just stirring the dessert made especially for her, Gina felt a little sick eating the ice cream. whereas before he ran to a shop to buy ice cream.

"Already full?" asked Massimo softly as he touched Gina’s head.

"Yeah, I’m very full."

"Well then let’s go home."

Gina tilted her head to look at Massimo who was standing beside her, Gina’s cheeks blushed even more now. "But you haven’t eaten, since I was the only one eating."

"I’m already full, let alone seeing you eat so voraciously like earlier," said Massimo honestly.

"How can someone be full just because they see other people eating," said Gina quietly, half grumbling.

Massimo raised an eyebrow in disapproval. "What are you talking about, Gina?"

Gina shrugged her shoulders up while shaking her head. "Nothing, I didn’t say anything. Come on let’s go, this room is getting hotter. You should tell the manager of this restaurant to fix the air conditioner after this, Massimo."

"Hot?"

Massimo immediately glanced at the room thermometer attached to one of the walls, his sharp eyes could clearly see the numbers indicated by the mercury in the thermometer well. Soon a devilish smile appeared on Massimo’s lips, it seemed that Massimo knew what was causing Gina to overheat. Without another word, Massimo then reached out his hand inviting Gina to leave the room.

Unexpectedly, Gina immediately grabbed Massimo’s hand and held it tightly. After that she followed Massimo’s footsteps, fix it seems Massimo’s guess was right.

Gina got into the same car with Massimo without protest, Gina immediately looked for the best position to sit at this time. And Gina’s cooperative attitude left Martin surprised and confused, really not the Gina he knew.

"We’re going to Gina’s school," Massimo said quietly, breaking Martin’s thoughts.

"Yes, sir," Martin answered quickly as he lowered his head, saluting Massimo who started to climb into the car.

After the master sat comfortably in his chair, Martin then got into the car sitting next to the driver. Soon the convoy of black cars began to leave the Core by Clare Smyth restaurant area for Gina’s school, the destination of which was unknown to Gina.

For several minutes there was no conversation in the car, Massimo was having a serious conversation with Martin on his cell phone at the moment. Massimo asked Martin to solve the problem at home that bothered him so much. Martin silently did the task given by his master who was sitting in the backseat, using his two cellphones Martin then gave orders to all the bodyguards left in the house to make Rosa Sanders and her boyfriend Alexandre not come back to the house. It’s been two days since the lovers had camped in front of Massimo’s castle, Rosa insisted on meeting Gina. Because of that, Rosa refused when she was chased away, even the girl dared to curse some bodyguards who threw her out with a threat.

Rosa threatens to tell them all to her sister Gina who is now the mistress of Massimo’s castle, that’s why the bodyguards have a hard time getting Rosa out of the way. Until finally the news was heard by Massimo again, Massimo deliberately didn’t tell Gina because he didn’t want their honeymoon to end quickly. Massimo knew Gina would definitely force his way home if she knew Rosa was waiting for her, knowing Gina’s extraordinarily good attitude made Massimo try his best to keep the news from reaching Gina’s ears. Not for now when they had only been in London two days.

"I don’t remember how beautiful this street is," Gina said quietly, breaking the silence in the car.

Massimo, who was focused on his cell phone, immediately turned to Gina who was already leaning her head on the glass, staring at the road they were passing.

"What did you say, honey?"

Gina slowly turned her face towards Massimo. "Honey?

" "Yes, why??"

"After baby, my love and now honey. Really?"

Massimo smiled broadly. "You’re my wife, Gina. So it’s free what I want to call you."

Gina smiled back at Massimo, slowly her hands opened the seat belt that crossed her body and approached Massimo who was sitting with his legs open. Without fear Gina crawled onto Massimo’s body and sat on his lap with both legs already on the right and left of Massimo’s body.

"Since when did I become your wife, hm? Wasn’t our marriage just a sham?" Gina asked softly with a hand that was gripping Massimo’s hair roughly.

"Gina, watch your attitude." Massimo warned.

Gina chuckled. "Keep my attitude? Haven’t I been a good girl today, hm? Instead you who must maintain an attitude that there is no another girl who crawled into your body and sit like this.
