"You know the man?"

"Who?"

"That newly arrived guest."

Gina nodded slowly. "Of course I know him, he often comes to see Daddy."

"Your daddy has an illegal business too?"

"Watch your words!! Daddy takes care of the family hotel and resort business," Gina replied curtly. "Don’t talk nonsense or I’ll sue you!"

Lucas chuckled. "Which words can make you sue me, Gina? I’m just asking, you can tell the difference between asking and accusing, can’t you?"

Gina snorted. "Never mind, I don’t want to talk about that guy. He’s evil."

"What?" Gina asked confused.

"Yeah, that was when you said he was a bad person, I agreed. Massimo del Cano wasn’t a good person," Lucas said quietly.

Gina didn’t respond to Lucas’ words, she knew there wasn’t anyone who didn’t know Massimo. The man had too much influence at Barcelona.

"Oh yeah I almost forgot, I came because I wanted to give you a cell phone." Lucas spoke again as he handed Gina a new cell phone.

"Phone?"

"Yes, take it," Lucas said again, handing him a cell phone box that was still wrapped in plastic.

Gina smiled and shook her head. "Thanks, but Daddy bought me a new cell phone."

"Well so my arrival was in vain."

"So you came so early just to give me a new cell phone?"

"Yes."

"Tsk, you’re not a smart liar. I can clearly see the big lie in your eyes, Luke."

Lucas laughed out loud, he then put back the cellphone he had just bought on his left side.

"Does it really look like that?"

"Yeah, I’m not a kid to be fooled, Luke. Don’t be weird, quickly tell me what is your real purpose in coming to my house so early?" Gina asked seriously.

Suddenly Lucas grabbed Gina’s hands and gripped them tightly.

"I want to get to know you better," Lucas answered seriously as he leaned closer to Gina’s.

But Gina, who was not used to being treated like that, immediately released her hands from Lucas’ grip and pushed Lucas’s body away from her.

"Stop acting, right now we are alone and there is no family. So don’t mess around or I will hit your head with the broom handle so you can wake up," said Gina curtly, glancing at the broom beside her.

"What kind of girl are you? You’re so strong!!"

"Never mind you better go home, I don’t want to serve strange people anymore. I want to live a quiet life."

Lucas who almost fell backwards immediately raised an eyebrow. "Another weirdo? Was there another weirdo before?"

Gina immediately shut her mouth tightly, she was about to talk about Massimo again. Even though since yesterday’s incident, Gina had sworn not to remember that man again. Damn.

Massimo is really like chewing gum, it’s hard to let go and Gina is cursing him again at this time.

Seeing Gina suddenly daydreaming made Lucas even more suspicious, he was sure that Gina was thinking about someone else right now. Using his right hand Lucas waved his hand in front of Gina’s face.

"Hey, you’re not daydreaming, are you?"

Gina cursed again in her heart when Lucas caught her daydreaming

"N-no...who’s daydreaming, go away. I want to rest, my whole leg still hurts and it’s your fault!"

"What? My fault? Where did I go wrong? I didn’t do anything to you?" Lucas asked confused.

Gina immediately folded her arms across her chest. "Don’t you remember who the person who yesterday forced me to wear high heels? That’s why now both my legs hurt." Gina tried to blame Lucas for the leg wound, even though Lucas wasn’t the only one responsible for the leg wound. There is still one more person who must be responsible for that painful wound.

"It doesn’t make sense, how could just wearing high heels hurt your legs like that. But wait...don’t tell me yesterday was the first time you wore shoes like that, okay?"

Gina immediately folded her arms across her chest. "Then why? Isn’t there a mandatory rule for a woman to wear high heels, right? Come on, go away. I need a rest. You’re really bothering me, Luke."

After saying that Gina immediately turned around and was surprised to see Massimo already standing not far from where she was now, Massimo’s eyes stared at Gina sharply without blinking. Great anger really was radiating there.

Because she was already dealing with Massimo like this, Gina chose to continue her steps into the house, Gina’s steps were a little wobbly because her legs hurt. Apart from the abrasions on her heels, Gina also felt soreness that spread all over her legs, of course this was because Massimo had dropped her off in the middle of the scorching highway which forced her to keep walking in search of a shady place to find a ride before being finally helped by Lucas.

"You two seem very close," said Massimo quietly as Gina passed beside him.

"That is none of your business!!" Gina replied curtly without turning to Massimo.

Massimo’s jaw immediately hardened at Gina’s answer which he didn’t want to hear at all, but Massimo couldn’t do anything right now because they were at Gina’s house. Besides that right now in front of him also stood his mortal enemy who was looking at him with a triumphant smile.

Lucas himself chose to walk away from Massimo’s face. As soon as Lucas disappeared behind the gate, Martin then took Massimo into the waiting car, without saying anything Massimo got into the car.

"Fuck... how come that bastard showed up again like this," Massimo cursed loudly as soon as the car door closed from the outside.

Martin, who just got into the car, immediately locked his lips, he didn’t dare to talk or discuss about Gina’s cellphone and bag which she really wanted to return to Gina. But because Massimo saw Lucas Dom his good intentions had to be canceled, especially when he found out that Gina and Lucas had a relationship. Fuck.

Remembering that Massimo’s emotions were boiling again, in his eyes Gina was already similar to other cheap girls. Gina’s plus points are gone.

Because there was no order from Massimo, Martin finally made a decision, he ordered Pablo to leave the Sanders house immediately. Massimo’s convoy started to leave the Sanders family residence and Julian Sanders and his wife Vannesa were still standing at the door of their big house even though the car carrying their guests was gone.

"Then what is your decision, dear?" Vanessa asked worriedly, Vanessa briefly heard her husband’s conversation with Massimo a few moments ago.

Julian shook his head. "I can’t make up my mind yet."

"But that guy will keep coming to us if you don’t give him an answer, Julian."

"I know Vanessa, I know. It’s just that I can’t make decisions rashly, there are many things I have to consider right now. I can’t be selfish just because of this problem, I can’t sacrifice one of our daughters," said Julian quietly.

Vanessa clenched her fists. "What that bad man wants is only one of our daughters, and he wants our eldest daughter, right? So just give Gina to him, isn’t Gina our eldest daughter. So why are you still hesitating to give Gina to him?"

"Vanessa!!! Watch your words!! Not because Gina wasn’t born from your womb, so you can arbitrarily suggest her name to be given to Massimo del Cano. Gina deserves to have a bright future like Selena and Rosa, so you never mess around." rebuked Julian in a rising voice. "I will never let Gina fall into the hands of that evil man, my daughter has the right to have a normal life like the girls out there. Especially now that Gina also has a boyfriend."

Vanessa immediately shrank, for almost 18 years of being married to Julian, this is the first time she has seen her husband this angry. Julian, whom she had known so far, was a gentle man and never spoke harshly. Julian was even very submissive to his father, that’s why Vanessa wanted to marry Julian at that time even though Julian’s status at that time was still Sandra’s husband and was not legally divorced.

"Once again I warn you, Vanessa. Don’t even think about sacrificing my daughter, Gina is my favorite daughter and you won’t be able to touch her let alone hurt her. After saying that Julian then went into the house leaving Vanessa whose face was already pale, Vanessa was really surprised when she saw Julian dared to speak so rudely to her.

"Selena is also my daughter, Julian. I will also do everything I can to make her life happy, I won’t let Selena sacrifice for this family. Selena has to be the daughter-in-law of a noble family and I will make sure that happens." Vanessa’s face reddened as she spoke.
