His Mute Wife: He Can't Sleep After She Left-Chapter 203: Do You Like Kate Lynch or Me More?
Holding the restless Kiana Sutton, Ethan Sinclair had little interest in talking to Chelsea Chapman, so he directly carried Kiana Sutton to the bedroom’s bathroom.
He turned on the hot water and sternly said to Kiana Sutton, "Take a good shower!"
Seeing him about to leave, Kiana Sutton hugged him tightly from behind, her intention quite obvious.
Kiana Sutton had drunk quite a bit today, and she was indeed quite drunk, but her mind was still somewhat clear.
She had come to Ethan Sinclair today with the determination to lose; she had only one purpose, as long as she could make Ethan Sinclair come home tonight, it didn’t matter what she had to do.
She couldn’t believe she had actually won, especially seeing Kate Lynch’s furious expression, she finally felt a bit of sweet revenge.
She didn’t know why Ethan Sinclair was taking her home tonight, nor did she romantically assume that she was more important than Kate Lynch in Ethan Sinclair’s mind.
But she knew Ethan Sinclair was quite interested in her body, so she wanted to use her only advantage to keep Ethan Sinclair.
Even though her method was somewhat despicable.
Thinking of this, she gently planted a kiss on Ethan Sinclair’s back.
Ethan Sinclair was only wearing a shirt; when Kiana Sutton’s warm lips touched his skin, his body tensed, and his heart instantly clenched.
The intense, burning, undisguised affection seemed like it was going to melt him entirely.
On the way, his body was already on fire; how could he withstand Kiana Sutton’s teasing? His deep eyes suddenly darkened, he turned around, wrapped one arm around Kiana Sutton’s slender waist, held her chin with the other, lifted it, and kissed her fiercely.
Ethan Sinclair’s kiss wasn’t as gentle and shy as Kiana Sutton’s; both had been drinking, and under the stimulation of alcohol, it was crazier than any time before.
By the time they left the bathroom, Kiana Sutton’s legs were weak.
But Ethan Sinclair was clearly not satisfied yet; after throwing her onto the bed, he began a new round of "conquest."
Kiana Sutton looked at Ethan Sinclair’s sexy and beautiful face, feeling an inexplicable bitterness in her heart, she gestured with her hand.
Seeing her gesture, Ethan Sinclair suddenly stopped.
Kiana Sutton belatedly realized what she had gestured, her muddled mind instantly half awakened.
She actually asked Ethan Sinclair, "On the bed, do you prefer Kate Lynch or me?"
Oh no, has she gone mad?
Actually asking such a question.
Ethan Sinclair suddenly leaned down, his lips close to her ear.
His actions were so ambiguous and gentle, but his voice was cold as ice, "Don’t always compare yourself to Kate."
Then, her eyes were covered with a tie; she couldn’t see him, could only feel his roughness.
Indeed, she always thought Ethan Sinclair liked her body, now finally realizing that not even her body’s allure could compare with Kate Lynch.
What does it matter if she used tricks to get him home, thinking she’d won, she actually lost badly.
Tears involuntarily fell.
Every time Ethan Sinclair kissed and embraced her, she would always have the illusion that Ethan Sinclair might like her a little.
Now she knows, turns out it can be done without love.
Anyway, it doesn’t matter, her heart hurts unbearably, Kate Lynch isn’t any better off.
Later, Kiana Sutton didn’t know when she fell asleep, and when she woke up again, she found herself still in Ethan Sinclair’s room, and Ethan Sinclair was actually there too.
She suddenly sat up from the bed, seeing she wasn’t wearing anything, blushed and wrapped the blanket around herself.
Everything that happened last night flooded into her mind.
"Don’t always compare yourself to Kate."
Especially those words, they left several big holes in her heart, her flushed cheeks gradually became somewhat pale.
She didn’t dare look at Ethan Sinclair, lowered her head, pretending to be an ostrich.
"I really underestimated you; your mother stole Kate’s necklace, afraid I’d blame you two later, so drank at home and went to Azure Feast to block me, clearly able to hide from the rain, yet insisted on getting drenched for over two hours to throw yourself into my arms. Now, are you satisfied with the result of your actions?"
Reflecting carefully on last night’s events in the morning, Ethan Sinclair understood everything.
He didn’t expect Kiana Sutton would resort to harming her own body to vie for favor.
Now her goal achieved, he left Kate, held her and went home, she should be happy, right?
Half of Ethan Sinclair’s words were right, half wrong.
She did use some tricks to block him, but not for the reason he said, it was just because she didn’t want him to be with Kate Lynch tonight, even wanted to take revenge on Kate Lynch.
Of course, if Ethan Sinclair knew the truth was this, he might hate her more.
She gestured slowly with her hand, "The necklace wasn’t stolen by my mom... "
"What? Want to say someone framed your mom again? Kiana Sutton, have you forgotten what your mom did to you? Where does your confidence come from, trusting your parents so much?"
Kiana Sutton had no evidence to prove Hannah Lowell’s innocence in the necklace incident, even with Gordon Sutton’s affairs, knowing her father was wronged, she still couldn’t produce evidence to prove it.
No matter what she gestured, Ethan Sinclair wouldn’t believe her; she was tired of trying.
Suddenly, her chin was lifted by Ethan Sinclair, Kiana Sutton met his somewhat indifferent eyes, "From now on, if you use those tricks on me, don’t expect to see me again!"
Kiana Sutton thought her actions were flawless, didn’t expect to be seen through by Ethan Sinclair so quickly.
She didn’t want to argue anymore, just lightly nodded.
Ethan Sinclair didn’t look at her again, and left the room directly.
Suddenly, the phone rang, it was Julian Garrison calling.
"Old Five, I successfully released a song today, let’s go out for a drink tonight to celebrate, bring your treasured 85 Romanée-Conti, I’ve been thinking about it for a long time, let me feast on this special day."
Julian Garrison’s voice was quite jubilant, seems he was very pleased with his new song.
Ethan Sinclair let out a light hum, "If you had released the song one day earlier, maybe you could’ve had a sip."
"Huh? What do you mean? You drank it? Aren’t we friends anymore, you drank and didn’t call me!"
"I didn’t drink it!"
"Did you give it away? No way, you never give away your treasured wine."
"Kiana Sutton drank it."
Julian Garrison was dumbfounded, "What? Where did she get the guts to drink from your wine cabinet? Does she know that bottle is worth over a million dollars?"
"Hmph, you think she’d dare touch it if she knew?"
"Then what do we do?"
"What else can we do? It’s drank, we can’t make her vomit it out, alright, there’s no more of the 85, but there’s a bottle of 99, I’ll bring it then."
Julian Garrison was totally at a loss, had he known, he would’ve sneaked a drink last time he was at Ethan Sinclair’s place, even if he got beaten half dead, it would’ve been worth it.
Now look, such an expensive bottle of wine was drunk by Kiana Sutton as ordinary red wine.
What a waste!
