Chapter 458: Chapter 458 Bella and Scarlett’s Secret Plan

Bella felt a warm flutter rise in her chest when everyone clapped the moment she turned, holding the first slice toward Leo. He leaned closer, amused by her shy glow, his eyes softening the way they always did when she looked at him with that sweetness he could never resist.

"Here..." she whispered, offering him the bite.

Leo chuckled under his breath, that deep, beautiful sound that made her heart thump, and leaned forward to take the bite right from her hand. He didn’t even like sweet things, but for her he swallowed it without a single complaint.

Before Bella could even blink, he tilted her hand back toward her lips and made her eat the same piece.

Her eyes widened, cheeks flushing hot. A chorus of hoots and whistles exploded around them.

"YEAHHHHHHH!"

"LEO IS SMOOTH, DAMN!"

"THAT’S MY BROTHER!!"

Bella covered her face with both hands, giggling helplessly, completely overwhelmed. Leo only smirked, slipping a hand around her waist and tugging her closer, clearly pleased with himself.

The music picked up, the fire crackled higher, and soon Dominique and Jason rushed to the makeshift dance floor with exaggerated dramatic moves, chest pops, weird twirls, hip wiggles, making everyone burst into laughter.

Scarlett groaned, "Jason, what are you doing?"

"I AM DANCING FOR QUEEN BELLA!" he shouted, pointing at Bella dramatically.

"And for me too," Dom corrected, flipping his hair. "Because I am ICONIC."

Everyone cracked up.

Then Casper turned the speaker louder, and the group broke into a wilder dance. Leo stayed where he was for a while, watching Bella laugh with everyone, his expression softening every time she smiled.

Jay came up, already holding two glasses filled with something strong.

"Broo, come on, drink with us!" he said, slinging an arm around his brother’s shoulders.

Dominique immediately pointed at the girls with a wide grin.

"GIRLS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DRINKKKK!"

His dramatic announcement echoed through the entire campsite.

Everyone, absolutely everyone, backed him up.

"True!"

"Yeah!"

"Facts!"

"No drinks for girls!"

Bella and Scarlett stared at them with matching betrayed expressions.

"What? Why?" Scarlett complained.

"We are adults!" Bella protested, eyebrows raised and lips in a small pout.

"Nope," Dom declared proudly. "Girls fragile. Girls cute. Girls precious. No alcohol."

"Yeah, protect the princesses," Jason added, nodding like a wise monk.

Bella and Scarlett exchanged a look of utter disbelief, then dragged two chairs to sit together at the side like they had been exiled from their own kingdom.

"We should start a rebellion," Scarlett muttered.

"Yes," Bella whispered seriously. "They are all stupid."

Leo, hearing that, nearly choked on his drink.

Scarlett nudged Bella’s shoulder gently. "Did they seriously forget it is your birthday? The birthday girl?"

Bella looked at the dancing firelight, her smile soft and sincere. "Maybe... but it is okay. They are having so much fun, and I love watching them happy." Her eyes shimmered, full of quiet warmth. "This is already the best birthday I ever had."

Scarlett’s heart softened, and then, like the curious drama queen she was, she leaned in again.

"So," she whispered, raising a brow, "you and Leo... did you do that thing?"

Bella blinked, face empty, eyes wide. "That thing?"

Scarlett stared at her for a long second and then sighed dramatically. "Bella... things that happen between husband and wife. Honeymoon." She whisper-yelled the last word.

Bella’s face turned the color of the cake frosting. "We... we did some things..." she whispered, covering her cheeks.

Scarlett’s eyes doubled. "The whole thing?"

"No! No, he just touched me..." Bella mumbled, burying her face in her palms.

Scarlett groaned. "Girl... are you sure you even know what ’the thing’ means?"

Bella puffed up like a tiny pufferfish. "I am not that innocent. I researched. I watched videos. I learned. He thinks I am not ready, that is the problem."

Scarlett choked, leaning back. "Show me."

"Okay." Bella opened her phone.

Scarlett looked.

Scarlett froze.

Scarlett slowly turned to her with huge eyes and flicked Bella’s forehead. "Bella. You are not innocent. You are just disguised as cute."

Bella giggled shyly and hid behind her hands.

"But," she sighed dramatically, "he still does not think I am ready."

Scarlett leaned forward, a wicked sparkle in her eyes. "Then seduce him."

Bella’s mouth fell open. "How?"

Scarlett grabbed her hand like a general preparing for war. "We are going shopping. Sexy clothes. Beautiful ones. Silky ones. Tight ones. Sparkly ones. Things he cannot resist. He will crumble."

Bella nodded rapidly, stars bursting in her eyes. "Yes. Please teach me everything."

Scarlett hugged her fiercely but then pulled back with a sudden nervous breath. 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂

"Bells... I need help too."

Bella softened instantly. "Of course."

Scarlett bit her lip. "I... I want to propose to Zion today."

Bella gasped loud enough that even Jason turned around for a second.

"You silly girl!" Bella cupped Scarlett’s face gently. "Of course I do not mind. I am so, so happy for you."

Her eyes drifted to Zion, sitting slightly apart, quietly smiling at whatever Jay and Jace were whispering drunkenly behind him. He was not drinking.

Scarlett clenched her hands nervously. "I do not have anything prepared. No ring. No flower. No gift. Nothing. But I do not want to wait for the perfect moment. I want it today."

Bella looked around, then pointed at one of the flower vases used for decoration, filled with soft white flowers.

"There. Pick one. Propose with that."

Scarlett’s eyes widened. "Bella... you are a genius."

She leaned close, whispering her plan into Bella’s ear.

Bella squealed, clapping her hands like a happy little bunny. "Yes! Do that! He will faint!"

Scarlett smiled, heart pounding.

After a while, Bella sat proudly with her legs crossed, a tiny victorious smile blooming on her face as the music system in the campsite abruptly cut off. Conversations halted mid-laugh. Footsteps paused. Every guy with a drink in his hand froze like statues.

"Eh? What happened?"

"Power cut?"

"Device broke?"

Confusion rippled through the entire group, except for one person.

Scarlett.

She met Bella’s eyes across the glowing fairy lights, and the two girls shared a silent, sparkly, mischievous wink. Bella tapped her phone again, and the speakers shifted into a gentle instrumental melody, a slow, romantic background score that wrapped the entire campsite in warmth.
