Chapter 434: Chapter 434 I want to meet Bella

Outside Spring Villa, the night air felt heavy and restless.

Alan stood near the gate with his head lowered, his hands hanging uselessly by his sides. His suit was creased, his jaw already swelling slightly from Leo’s punch earlier, but he did not move. He did not try to leave. He did not try to explain himself. Because he knew what he had done was unacceptable.

Suddenly, Jay’s car screeched to a stop, shattering the silence.

Jay got out first, his face twisted with rage, his eyes burning with disbelief and fury. Jace followed closely behind him, his expression dark, his jaw clenched so tightly it looked painful. They had already heard everything and rushed to Spring Villa immediately, and the moment they saw Alan standing outside, their anger boiled over.

Jay did not hesitate.

He walked straight up to Alan and punched him hard across the face multiple times.

"Are you insane?" Jay shouted, his voice shaking with rage. "You’re disgusting. How can you say you’re in love with your friend’s wife? Do you even hear yourself?"

Alan staggered but did not raise his hands. He did not fight back. He just stood there, breathing heavily, his eyes fixed on the ground.

Jay grabbed his collar and shoved him back. "A confession? You really thought that was okay? That it was even possible?" Jay laughed harshly, the sound full of disbelief. "For God’s sake, she’s married. Married."

Jace stepped in then, his voice low but sharp. "You crossed a line you can never erase."

Alan swallowed hard. His voice came out rough. "I know. I know I was wrong."

Jay punched him again, his anger spilling over. "Wrong?" he snapped. "You terrified her."

Alan flinched this time, but he still did not defend himself. He deserved this. Every hit. Every word.

"I just—" Alan started, then stopped, breathing unsteadily. "Please. I want to meet Bella. I want to say sorry."

Jay’s face twisted with pure disgust.

"No," he said flatly. "You don’t deserve to even say her name."

Jace stepped forward and pushed Alan back a step. "Do you know what you did? Do you know the consequences of what you did? What it did to Bella?" His eyes were cold. "An apology does not fix that."

Alan finally lifted his head. His eyes were red, not just from pain but from shame. "I never wanted to hurt her."

Jay let out a sharp laugh. "That’s the funniest thing you’ve said tonight."

He shoved Alan again. "When you heard what happened to her, you should have disappeared. Instead, you’re standing here asking to see her?"

Alan did not argue. He did not plead again. He just stood there, taking every shove and every insult, because deep down he knew nothing he said could undo what he had done.

Jay’s fists trembled at his sides. "If Leo sees you again," he said slowly, dangerously, "you won’t be standing. You’ll be carried out in pieces."

Jace nodded once. "Leave. Now."

Alan hesitated for half a second, his gaze flicking toward the villa.

Then he looked away.

He turned and walked into the darkness, his shoulders heavy, every step filled with regret that would follow him for the rest of his life.

Jay stood there, his chest rising and falling hard, his anger slowly giving way to something darker. Fear.

"God," he muttered, rubbing his face. "She must have been terrified."

Jace looked toward Spring Villa, his expression unreadable. "Leo won’t forgive this."

Jay swallowed. "Neither should we."

They did not waste a single second after Alan disappeared into the dark. Jay and Jace rushed toward the entrance, their steps hurried and uneven, fear pushing them forward faster than anger ever could.

"Which room?" Jay demanded the moment they crossed the gates.

"Room one," one of the guards answered immediately, stepping aside.

They ran through the quiet halls of Spring Villa, the soft lights and silence making Jay’s chest tighten even more. The thought that Bella had arrived here shaken and terrified made his hands curl into fists again.

Jay reached room one first.

He did not knock and pushed the door open.

And froze.

Leo was sitting on the edge of the bed, his posture tense yet impossibly careful. The collar of his white shirt was open, his sleeves rolled up slightly as if he had not even noticed. His grey suit pants were creased now, forgotten, his suit jacket placed on the couch.

His hand was holding Bella’s.

Tightly.

Bella lay on the bed, pale and fragile, her fingers curled around Leo’s as if letting go was not an option. Her eyes were open, wide and glossy, fixed only on him. She did not even glance at the door when it opened.

She did not notice Jay.

She did not notice Jace.

Her world had narrowed to one person.

"Leo," she whispered softly, her voice hoarse.

"I’m here," Leo answered immediately, squeezing her hand just a little to ground her. His voice was calm, but his eyes were dark with dangerous, restrained emotion and something deeper, something unreadable.

Jay felt his throat tighten.

He had never seen his brother like this.

Jace stepped in quietly behind him and closed the door without a sound. His gaze moved from Bella’s trembling hand to Leo’s wrist, then to the way Leo leaned slightly toward her, shielding her even now.

Jay swallowed hard. "Bella?" he said carefully, keeping his voice low.

Bella’s eyes flickered for a brief second, recognition flashing weakly. She did not let go of Leo’s hand.

"Jay Jay," she murmured faintly.

Jay exhaled shakily. He stepped closer but stopped a few feet away, not wanting to crowd her.

"She’s in panic shock," Leo said quietly, not looking up. "She needs calm. No noise."

Jay nodded immediately. "Yeah. Of course."

Jace crossed his arms slowly, his jaw tight. "Alan won’t come near this place again," he said firmly. "We made sure of it."

Leo’s grip on Bella’s hand tightened for half a second.

Good.

He finally looked up, his gaze sharp and unreadable. "If he does," Leo said calmly, "he won’t leave alive."

No one questioned it.

Bella shifted slightly, her fingers tightening again as if she sensed the change in his tone.

Leo softened instantly, brushing his thumb over her knuckles. "It’s okay, bunny. Just me. I’m here."

Jay watched as Bella’s breathing steadied at those words.

She trusted his brother completely.
