Chapter 184: See You In Hell

Chapter 184- See You In Hell.

DECLAN’S POV

"Do whatever you want to me," David said suddenly, his voice shaking like a loose window in a storm. "But please... don’t touch my wife. Don’t hurt her. I was the one who wronged you. Hurt me. Not her. Don’t transfer your anger to someone innocent."

I stared at him for a long second... and then I laughed.

Loud. Deep. Mocking.

He sounded so serious. So dramatic. Like a man playing the part of a noble husband in a cheap movie. I laughed until my chest hurt.

"Innocent?" I asked, still grinning. "That word again. Innocent."

I took a slow step forward and looked him right in the eye.

"When you stole from my son’s mother," I began coldly, "when you took her last savings and insulted her dignity, did you remember she was innocent?"

"When you called her names... when you turned your back after using her like she was nothing but a tool... did you stop and say, ’Wait, this woman did nothing wrong?’"

I didn’t let him speak. I didn’t need him to.

"When you shot her, David—shot her—did you remember that she was innocent?"

He looked away.

Exactly.

I moved closer. My voice dropped to a deadly whisper.

"But now you want me to leave your wife out of this? Now you want to protect her? Now you remember what innocence feels like?"

I scoffed.

"You must be fucking kidding."

I started circling him like a lion watching a crippled prey.

"Suddenly, you’re acting like the perfect husband. Like some holy man who deserves to protect his precious wife. Tell me, David..." I stopped and leaned in. "Does your wife know you fucked my son’s mother?"

He froze.

"Does she know you scammed her? Stole her money? Played her emotions like a cheap piano?"

Silence.

"Does she know you’re not just a liar, but a cheat, a scammer... and a fucking murderer?"

Still no answer.

"I guess not," I said with a sharp smirk.

I shook my head slowly, disgusted but amused.

"You started this whole mess. You created this disaster. You destroyed a woman who never wronged you. And now you expect me to spare your woman?"

I let out a short laugh that had no humor in it.

"Let me remind you, David—I’ve always believed in an eye for an eye."

"Some people say that makes the world go blind," I said with a shrug. "But I don’t care. If the world goes blind, we’ll use walking sticks. We’ll crawl if we have to."

"But what I won’t do," I growled, "is keep quiet while someone weaker than me plays God in my life and walks away like a hero."

I pointed my gun at the ground, just inches from his shaking legs.

"So here’s the deal, David."

"You either call your wife right now and tell her to come here..."

"Or I’ll call her myself. And you know what it means when I’m the one doing the luring."

"Just kill me..." David’s voice cracked as he broke down in front of me. His shoulders shook, tears streaming down his face like a child who had lost everything. "Please... just kill me."

I tilted my head and smiled, calm and cold.

"No, David," I replied quietly, my voice dripping with venom. "Killing you now would be too easy."

I leaned closer, watching him flinch like a pathetic little thing.

"I want you to suffer. I want you to beg. I want you to feel your soul burn before I send you to hell."

He opened his mouth to speak again, but I cut him off.

"I don’t need to ask who lured Lucian into that trap. I know it was you." I scoffed. "So let’s skip all that bullshit and get to the real show."

I pulled out my gun and aimed it at his leg—not to shoot, just to make him sweat. His body started to shake like a leaf caught in a storm.

"Pick up your fucking phone," I said sharply. "Call her."

But of course, he didn’t. He just sat there, trembling, silent, like a man waiting for death.

"Fine," I hissed, reaching into my pocket. "I’ll do it myself."

I unlocked my phone and tapped into the live video line I had set up. The call connected almost immediately.

The man on the screen looked focused. One of my boys.

"Are you at the location?" I asked him.

But before I could say more, David smirked. That disgusting, cocky smirk that made my blood boil.

"She’s not there," he said. "Try harder."

I stared at him. Then I grinned.

"And you thought I didn’t know?"

I stepped closer, voice low and sharp. "Your wife isn’t in your house, David. Of course not. You thought you were smart. You hid her in Graystone Creek Lodge... thinking we’d never find her."

His eyes widened in horror. Finally, the reality hit him.

I looked back at the screen. "Boys, show him the view. Let this piece of shit say goodbye."

The camera turned... and there she was.

His wife.

Tied to a chair. Tears running down her face. Fear shining in her eyes like headlights in the dark.

"Baby... I’m scared," she sobbed.

David broke.

"No—no, please—baby, it’s going to be okay, I swear! Please, don’t hurt her!" he shouted, his voice raw, desperate, broken beyond repair. "She has nothing to do with this! Please! I’ll do anything!"

I watched him with cold eyes.

"Oooh no, David," I whispered. "It’s too late. This is what we call... tit for tat."

"Please—don’t—!" he cried, choking on his words.

But it was already done.

My boy pulled the trigger.

One shot. Straight through her chest.

She slumped forward. Silent.

Dead.

I turned the phone around and held it in front of David’s face. His scream shattered the air.

"NOOOOO!"

He thrashed, kicked, sobbed. I just stared.

"You want to kill me now, David?" I asked with a calm smile.

"I’m going to kill you!" he screamed like a madman.

I didn’t flinch. I just pointed my gun at his head.

"No, you’re not."

One pull.

One shot.

David dropped to the floor like a ragdoll. Blood pooling beneath his body.

I stared at his corpse for a long moment, letting silence fill the room.

Then I smirked, leaned in close, and whispered,

"See you in hell. Yours faithfully... Declan."
