Once he was fully dressed and prepared, Lucas left the room and followed Eva to another room.

'This looks like a weapon storage room… What are we doing here?' Lucas wondered to himself as they entered this large room that was filled with all sorts of weapons and armors.

"Pick a weapon."

Lucas didn't think much about it and picked a random sword.

"Good, now follow me."

A few minutes later, they went outside and into Eva's car.

"Where are we going?" Lucas couldn't help but ask her, as he wasn't expecting to leave the guild building.

"We're going to a dungeon," she calmly responded.

"What?" Lucas turned to look at her with wide eyes.

Why are they suddenly going to a dungeon?

"I heard about your performance from Ken. He called you bold and crazy, and I want to see for myself your abilities. If you don't want to do this, we can turn around right now. However, you'll lose your chance to join my team."

Lucas remained silent for a moment before speaking, "I will do it. What kind of dungeon are we entering? An intermediate-rank dungeon?"

A mysterious smile appeared on Eva's beautiful face, and she said, "You'll find out once we get there."

About an hour later, they exited the car.

'This place has a dungeon?' Lucas raised his eyebrows when they arrived at an ordinary street that looked completely normal.

"Follow me."

Eva then led Lucas to one of the houses there.

After knocking on the door, an old man appeared before them.

"Well, if it isn't Miss Eva. How may I help you today?" The old man greeted her in a friendly manner.

"We're going to enter the dungeon for a bit," she said.

"Sure thing."

The old man didn't say anything else and opened the gates.

Once they were inside, Eva walked to the back of the building, where a large portal that emitted an ominous aura was waiting.

Lucas subconsciously swallowed nervously when he saw the portal, as his instincts were telling him to stay away from it.

"If you need anything else, you can find me in the living room." The old man said to them before leaving the scene, seemingly without a care in the world despite having a dungeon in his backyard.

Of course, this dungeon was a private dungeon that the Boundless Desires had bought from this old man, and knowing the Boundless Desires' reputation, the old man was not worried at all that the monsters inside will escape.

"Listen up," Eva spoke a moment later.

"This is an intermediate-rank dungeon, but it's not your ordinary intermediate-rank dungeon. The monsters inside are between level 35 to 40, and monsters within dungeons at this rank are capped at level 40, meaning this is a high-quality dungeon with most monsters near its level cap."

"In order to pass the test and join my Blossom Team, you must kill a monster inside, which shouldn't be any problem for you, who almost killed a level 60 from our guild, right?" Eva looked at him with a serious face.

Lucas swallowed nervously, but he didn't back down.

"What do I get for joining the Blossom Team? What benefits do I get? I'm told there are three teams in the guild, meaning I can still join the other two teams if you don't accept me. I'm not going to risk my life for some mediocre team."

"You little brat…" Eva narrowed her eyes at Lucas, but she was surprised inwardly.

Just as Ken said, he was bold— bold enough to speak of benefits in such a situation.

"I didn't join the guild to have fun. I am here to earn money, so I will join the team that will earn me the most money!" Lucas continued.

After a moment of silence, Eva laughed for a moment before speaking, "Our Blossom Team has not only the highest dungeon clears out of all three teams but our members also have the highest income!"

"If you join our team, we can guarantee you that we'll enter more dungeons than the other two teams, meaning you'll have more opportunities to earn money! Furthermore, we have a policy where if you contributed the most to killing a monster, you'll get to keep 50 percent of its profit while the other two teams have 30 percent at most!"

"However, this also means that it'll be harder to join our team. Are you satisfied now?"

Lucas smiled afterward and nodded, "I just need to kill a monster, right? I will do it."

And without hesitation, Lucas began approaching the dungeon.

Although he cannot use his skill Devastate on monsters above level 25, he should be able to kill a single monster even if it's 20 levels above his level— granted he doesn't mess up.

Eva didn't expect Lucas to enter the dungeon so suddenly, but that only increased her impression of him.

She followed him into the dungeon a moment later with an anticipating smile on her face.
