Hero Hack: Reversing Heroes and Raising Harem-Chapter 83: VIP Sibling Date
Chapter 83: VIP Sibling Date
Zain and Zelia woke up tangled in blankets.
Her legs already wrapped around his waist like it was natural.
She yawned and stretched without letting go.
"You’re not slipping away today."
She pulled him tighter.
"We’re doing everything. All day."
Zain blinked at her stubborn grin, then smirked.
"Everything?"
"Yes. Karaoke, movie, arcade, food."
"No missions. No Savra."
He sat up, grabbing his shirt.
"Fine. But if you lose to me in racing again, you’re carrying all the snacks."
"I won’t lose."
She flipped out of bed, barefoot, already pulling on a sleeveless hoodie.
"Let’s go before you find an excuse."
They stepped out of their VIP cabin zone, drawing glances.
Zain ignored everyone.
Zelia just stuck close, arm looped through his.
First stop, karaoke lounge.
Zelia grabbed the mic before the screen loaded.
"I’m doing the first song."
Zain leaned back on the couch, arms behind his head.
"Go on. Entertain me."
She launched into a loud pop track, dancing in place.
Her voice was off-key but confident.
Zain actually laughed.
"Wow. That’s what you call singing?"
She threw a pillow at him mid-chorus.
"Shut up and wait your turn!"
They hit the cinema next.
Zelia picked the cheesiest romance film.
Halfway through, she leaned against his shoulder.
"Still watching?"
Zain flicked a kernel at her.
"I’m watching you watch this garbage."
The arcade was chaos.
Zain dominated the rhythm game.
Zelia pouted.
"You have no soul. You’re a machine."
"I’m the Heavenly Demon. Machines kneel to me."
By the time they sat at the restaurant, Zelia was grinning nonstop.
Her arms were filled with prizes.
Zain glanced at her.
"You’re smiling too much."
"Shut up. You loved it."
Then Savra appeared at the entrance.
Zain stood up without a word.
Zelia glanced at him, sighed, and pushed him lightly.
"I’ll order dinner. Go talk to your girlfriend."
Zain clicked his tongue. "She’s not—"
"Go." Zelia smirked.
"I’ll get us dessert."
He left with a grunt. Savra was already waiting.
---
Savra and Zain sat across from each other at the nearest table.
She leaned back, arms folded.
"We’ll arrive at BB-1 tomorrow morning."
"You remember why we’re there in the first place, right?"
Zain tilted his head, smirking.
"Of course. You’re dragging me here to make me an A-Rank hero."
Savra didn’t smile.
"Then tell me."
"Have you awakened a Mid-Tier ability yet?"
Zain leaned on the table. "Not yet."
Her eyes narrowed.
"Then you can’t be an A-Rank hero."
Zain snorted.
"Why do you sound so certain?"
She lowered her voice.
"Zain, have I not told you already?"
"The chance of awakening a Mid-Tier ability drops hard for people like you."
Zain frowned. "People like me?"
"Yeah. People who awakened too many Low-Tier abilities."
She leaned closer.
"The system starts locking potential routes. It sees you as a patchwork freak."
Zain laughed, shaking his head.
"C’mon. Don’t worry so much. I believe I’ll awaken one soon."
Savra stared for a second longer, then let out a slow sigh.
"Just hope you do. Otherwise, you’re stuck where you are."
He grinned.
"I don’t need to pray for something like this."
"Maybe you should."
"Or start bribing fate."
He chuckled, then leaned in slightly.
"By the way... I want to ask you something."
Savra tilted her head, resting her chin on one hand.
"Oh? Getting curious?"
Zain smiled.
"I want to know."
"What kind of Mid-Tier ability is considered the strongest?"
Savra gave him a look.
"You won’t even know what kind you’ll awaken."
Zain didn’t blink.
"Still. Just tell me. For future enemies."
She tapped her fingers, then gave a small nod.
"Fine. There are a few major types. Let’s start with Elemental."
Zain sat up straighter.
"Sounds simple enough."
"Not really," Savra said.
"Elemental Mid-Tier is split into two branches."
"Two?"
"First, Elemental Control."
"You don’t create the element. You command it."
"If there’s fire nearby, you can bend it."
"But unlike your Fire Hand, it doesn’t generate flame on its own."
Zain frowned.
"Wouldn’t that be weaker than a Low-Tier like mine?"
Savra rolled her eyes.
"Of course not. It can make existing fire devastating."
"With enough source, it turns into full-on magic."
"Flame walls, exploding spheres, fire claws. You name it."
Zain nodded slowly.
"So control over raw power. Got it."
She continued.
"The second branch is Elemental Body."
"Like your Fire Hand, but it covers the entire body."
"Arms, legs, skin and everything becomes that element."
"So a walking element. Not bad," Zain muttered.
"What about something like Scavratt?"
"That falls under Transformation Body Type," Savra answered.
"His was Beast Shift. Partial or full beast fusion."
Zain leaned forward. "And others?"
"There’s invisibility. Phasing. Size manipulation."
"Even stone skin or full metal form."
"And the last type?" he asked.
Savra smiled faintly.
"The wild cards. Unique Types."
"Things like permanently boosting your physical strength to A-Rank level..."
"Or enhancing your senses so sharply, you track like a beast."
Zain crossed his arms.
"There’s quite a lot... but the question still remains."
Savra raised an eyebrow. "What?"
He leaned in slightly.
"What’s the strongest Mid-Tier ability?"
Savra mirrored his posture, arms folded across her chest.
"It’s not a simple answer."
"Try me."
She exhaled.
"If I had to name one, it’d be the Unique Transformations."
Zain tilted his head. "Unique?"
"Yeah. They’re rare.
"Abilities that combine multiple mid-tier categories into one form."
"Most don’t even have official names. They’re just classified based on the result."
He leaned forward. "Give me an example."
Savra nodded.
"There’s Kaiger. An AA-Rank hero."
"His Mid-Tier ability is called Flame Lion Shift."
"Sounds flashy."
"It is," she said.
"It combines three subtypes."
"Beast Shift, Flame Body, and Flame Control."
Zain blinked. "All in one?"
"Exactly. Alone, each effect is weaker than the pure version."
"But together? He can turn into a flaming lion-man."
"Control the fire around him, and coat his whole body in fire armor."
Zain let out a low whistle.
"So even if each part’s a bit watered down, the fusion makes it more flexible."
"Right."
"He’s a walking inferno with claws, muscle, and fire manipulation."
"And it doesn’t burn him out quickly."
Zain tapped the table.
"I see... So what I need is something like that. A unique-type fusion."
Savra smirked. "You could say that."
"But," she added, raising a finger.
"You don’t get to choose it."
"The world system molds the result from your path."
Zain leaned back.
"Then I just need to make sure my path is something no one’s ever walked."
She grinned. "Now that sounds like you."
