Her Vengeful Lycan Alpha-Chapter 105: Returning
Chapter Hundred-Five โ Returning
They were all returning back to Black Claws Pack. Finally. Laurel placed the big bow tie on Bebeโs hair and gave her a thumps up. "Lovely!" ๐๐ป๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐ธ๐ซ๐๐ก.๐ฌ๐ธ๐
Sorren had gotten it for the girl while he strolled around with Zara. His reason were somewhere along the lines of she looked too unimpressive to follow him back.
Laurel guessed it was his way of gifting. A difficult one, that one. She thought.
Bebe spun around, letting the blue dress she was in spin with her. She giggled, admiring herself in the small face mirror. The bowtie was the first gift a man ever gave her.
"Today might be a good day." Laurel rubbed her stomach. As the cooks in the kitchen realized Stefan was about to leave, they made a really tasty meal as a send off.
The Alpha didnโt get to taste it as Sorren let Laurel and the werewolfess finish it. It was too peppery for him.
Laurel snickered. The tales that Lycans were typically stronger than werewolves would soon be debunked.
Bebe carried Laurelโs bag as the two left the room, and got to the courtyard. It had been cleaned out and the horse and carriage were waiting.
"Whoโd ride it this time?" she asked out loud, helping Bebe inside. The carriage was a three seater. Itโd be a bit cramped for four. Which meant, someone had to ride.
Well, it wouldnโt be she or Bebe so Laurel relaxed inside. She might have napped a bit, she woke up to find the carriage moving. They were out of High Moon.
Laurel turned to her side and saw Bebe playing with Sorrenโs hair, he seemed annoyed but let her.
She pulled Bebeโs hand and pulled her to her side. The girl wore a pout but rested on the princess. "Finally, we are going back." Laurel told Elma.
Her wolf made a low grunt. "This โadventureโ was too active and blood curdling. Maybe the next one could be more flowers and food."
That will be the perfect adventure but Laurel knew she wasnโt that lucky. In a day, sheโd be back at Black Claws and begin massaging Stefan to let her people live.
With King Asher being aware of it, itโd be easier to sign Green Valleys as a pack under Black Claws.
Black Claws would upgrade to a kingdom and itโs a win-win. Laurel clenched her fists. That would be her first step in helping her pack survive. Nothing could go wrong now.
Five hours later, Laurel opened her eyes. She had slept off again. Traveling by carriage was a bore and time consuming.
But then, she glanced at Sorren who looked outside the window, that one wouldnโt have it another way.
"Princess, are you awake?"
Laurel looked at Bebe whose head was on her lap. "Yes."
"Weโre almost at Damancas. The big brother said." Bebe pointed out at Stefan riding. "We are almost there too."
"Where?"
"My pack. Iโd show you but I donโt want to visit."
Sorren turned to her. "Arenโt you supposed to return to your pack? What do you mean by you donโt want toโ"
"Please." Bebe lowered her head. "Donโt send me back there. Th-They might punish me for running away."
"Then get punished." Sorren replied.
Bebe raised her head, looking at him. His expression was cold and she wanted to cry. Werenโt they friends?
"Your deal with the princess was to be taken back home. Donโt play victim on the way." Sorren added.
Laurel frowned. Despite Sorren having a point, his way of getting it across was cold. Even she had been debating taking the girl back.
Before Stefan would pass Green Valleys into law, theyโd have to go through Cade, his Beta, and any other elder Black Claws had. It could take a while.
So what will the girl be doing with her while sheโd be a maid? Itโd be better she toughed it out with her pack.
Laurel didnโt want her running away from it also, just like she wasnโt running away from her own people.
"But they killed my mother."
"So you got scared? There is this fancy word, revenge." Sorren looked out the window. "Donโt be so disappointing."
Bebe lowered her head again.
As if in cue, the moment she lowered her head, a spear came diving through Laurelโs window towards Sorren. He gently shifted and it went past his window. He sighed.
"Weโd be going faster now." Stefanโs voice came from above them. Bebe held unto Laurel tightly. Her head wouldโve popped if not she lowered her head.
Laurel looked out the window and her eyes darkened on seeing the runts. Amongst them were the โroguesโ who attacked them earlier with the criminal rider.
"We havenโt really reached their part of the forest. Whatโs wrong with them?" she mumbled.
The carriage galloped on a branch and Bebe whimpered. Laurel turned to Sorren, but he was no longer seated. "Ah! Stefan, Sorren went out again!"
Stefan pulled the horse to a halt. "What... Why?!"
Thereโs no need killing the rogues if they could just avoid them. He sighed and kept the carriage moving faster. Sorren would catch up after having his fun.
Laurel looked out and found only one runt, the girl she had fought, still standing there with a spear in hand.
"Bebe, lie low. More spears are coming...." but Laurel saw the girl poke her head out of the window. "Where?"
She pulled her back. "I didnโt say you should look!"
Bebe looked out again, a panicked expression on her face. "You... Nina, stop throwing spears!!"
"Huh?" Laurel watched Bebe jump down a fast moving carriage. The girl must have gone crazy.
"I must be crazier." Laurel mumbled as she jumped down too. The carriage was empty.
Stefan halted the horse again, looking at the heavens tiredly. This time, theyโd spend three days on the road.
Laurel hastened you to catch up with Bebe.
She saw the girl, jump on a tree then kick the runt with the spear. The spear fell and the two girls began fighting. Was it necessary to fight the โroguesโ?
