As Feng walked out of the Blackwood Ruler's territory, he couldn't sense the presence of any spiritual beasts nearby.

"This damn beast!" Feng hissed, rubbing his stomach.

Feng quickly scanned his surroundings and noticed the broken pieces of the tree he had smashed into.

Without hesitation, he grabbed one of the larger fragments.

Just as the Komodo dragon-like spiritual beast lunged at him with its massive teeth, Feng swung the piece of the tree directly at its face.

Feng couldn't dodge in midair, and the creature's powerful jaws clamped down on his right leg.
