Tatyana and the others waited outside for a little while, their spiritual sense very lightly looking at what happened after. Their hearts melted at such a level of adorableness.

Yasenia, after coming to her senses, had quickly transformed into her miniature Dragon Form and cuddled the egg into her curled form, even using her wings to cover her head.

Lady First looked at Ao Xianlan, who was the most knowledgeable about dragons, and asked. “What now? Do we wait longer, or can we enter and see the little one?”

Ao Xianlan pondered. “Yasenia’s way of egg-laying in human form is unusual, but not unique. There are some dragon species that lay eggs that are large. The trick is that the egg’s surface is quite soft and elastic as it leaves, acting like the head of an infant. The egg then hardens after coming into contact with air.”

Everyone nodded, and Ao Xianlan explained. “During the hardening time, a dragon mother’s mood can only be described as volatile. If we dare step inside now, even if it is Tatyana, she will receive a Celestial Dragon Breath to the face.”

Tatyana didn’t refute. Even when touching Yasenia’s reverse scale, the girl would eventually bite her hand quite powerfully if she lingered. So, her reacting instinctively and blasting anything that dared step into her “inner territory” was more than normal and acceptable.

She asked. “How long do eggs of this kind usually take to hatch?”

“Hm… That varies too much to determine.” Ao Xianlan shook her head. “We will need to wait and see.”

Lady First crossed her arms. “Will Yasenia leave her egg to go into the remaining two ancestral lands?”

Ao Xianlan shrugged. “Probably. An egg can take as long as the gestation period to hatch. Once her instincts and emotions calm down, Yasenia will be assured in leaving the egg with Tatyana.”

Tatyana smirked, pleased. “So… we wait a few days, and when the egg solidifies, we enter?”

“That’s the best bet.”

And so, they waited. Just as Ao Xianlan said, Yasenia didn’t move a single inch, constantly surrounding her egg and covering it with her body and wings. She would constantly nuzzle it, lick it, and lovingly nudge it from time to time. These actions were taken both to clean it and also to check its solidity.

After the seventh day, the egg’s surface had completely solidified, and Yasenia’s restless hormones also calmed down a whole lot.

Carefully, Tatyana raised her voice. “Little Treasure, can we enter?”

Yasenia’s heart rose to her throat, becoming a bit anxious, but after closing her eyes and reigning in her instincts, she spoke up. “You can.”

She spoke shortly and decisively, as if afraid that she would change her own mind if she spoke for too long.

Everyone carefully walked inside, and they saw Yasenia look at them. At that moment, they all froze. Yasenia’s golden dragon eyes were really intense.

Star Forge muttered. "No wonder there is a saying: ‘You don’t bother a new dragon mother.’ If I didn’t know, I would think that Young Miss is about to eat us."

Yasenia’s sharp expression softened lightly upon hearing that, and her tail began to wag up and down. She smiled happily. “I laid my egg!”

Looking at the proud young mother, everyone felt like wanting to pat her head and scratch her chin. Tatyana, a woman of action, did just that.

One second, she was standing with them, and the next, she was in front of Yasenia, patting her head with a broad smile.

“Little Treasure, show me. I am quite curious, and with your body as a shield, I didn’t dare to pierce it with my Spiritual Sense.”

Yasenia nodded and moved her wing up, shifting her body a little. Everyone looked full of curiosity.

“Oh my… Such a pretty egg!”

“Impressive. It looks like a mini cosmos-shaped egg.”

“Is that… a galaxy? Heavens, how did these patterns develop?”

“It’s really beautiful.”

Ao Xianlan chuckled. “You are all wrong. This egg is not beautiful… It is handsome~.”

Everyone paused, and then their eyebrows shot up. “A boy?”

Tatyana was not surprised, as she had checked secretly in the past. She smiled. “Yes. He is an extremely rare progeny for Yasenia. After all, from all her lovers, only one of us can give birth to males. For the rest, it is either a female or someone like Yasenia.”

Everyone present knew about Yasenia’s double sex, so they weren’t surprised. “How hard is it for Yasenia to give birth to a boy, percentage-wise?”

“Theoretically?” Tatyana shrugged. “I would say 10 percent or less.”

Star Forge chuckled. “Congratulations, Young Miss. First birth, you hit the jackpot.”

Yasenia nodded happily. “Mhm! He will be a powerful and handsome man in the future!”

Ao Xianlan sighed. “Powerful indeed. This child will be born as a Mythical Core Dragon.”

Everyone suddenly became silent, their eyes subtle. Luan Feixue wanted to cry a little bit. “No way, my junior brother is stronger than me, and he hasn’t even been born?”

Star Forge blinked and teased. “Hey, that’s a good future partner for you. Strong and talented, and from Yasenia’s looks, he will for sure be a lady-killer. How about you cling to his thigh?”

Luan Feixue looked at her, dumbfounded.

Yasenia looked at Luan Feixue, her dragon eyes scanning her thoughtfully. Being stared at that way made Luan Feixue want to complain. She spoke righteously. “Master! This disciple only has the Martial Path and Master in her heart. There is no one else!”

Yasenia blinked and told her. “Imagine me as a man of your same generation, and then say those same words again to my face.”

Luan Feixue imagined it, and a second later, her face turned extremely red.

The others looked at the egg and did a secret thumbs up. ‘Young Master, you are exceptional. You have yet to be born, yet you already charmed someone.’ 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

Even Lady First had a look of interest. Of course, not with any wrong impression, but thinking about if any pure succubus would be worthy of such a future powerhouse. While pure succubi were rare, they were not unheard of.

After all, cultivation was endless and formless, so past succubi who disdained their own blood created techniques that required them to remain pure and used their power, drawing on Yin Energy as a source.

Then, once they found someone they fancied, they could easily transition to a Dual Cultivation technique.

Even Ao Xianlan was screening daughters, granddaughters, and great-granddaughters in her head.

Seeing everyone’s expression, Yasenia spoke with a squint. “Don’t get any wrong ideas. My little boy is a pure dragon, so he needs to become a 500-year-old before leaving the nest!”

Tatyana deadpanned. “Even you don’t believe what you just said. This egg… is not normal. He is your true first progeny. His blood is very similar to yours when you went under rebirth, so I can bet that he is the second Empyrean Cosmos Dragon.”

Yasenia immediately pouted. “Why did you tell me!? That’s a spoiler!”

Mo Yun blinked. “What’s a spoiler?”

Yasenia blinked back. “I don’t know. Mom said it's a word used to describe someone explaining something you were previously eager to know by yourself…”

Still, Yasenia was also mightily curious. So, unable to hold herself back, she finally sank her Spiritual Sense into the egg to thoroughly analyze it.

“Huh?”

Seeing her surprise, their own curiosity got the better of them, and they all did the same. Only Luan Feixue was unable to breach the natural defenses of the egg.

“What is it, Master?”

“No…” Yasenia looked strange. “Why is my dragon baby in a humanoid form?”

The little boy growing in the egg was exactly like her. A small boy with a dragon tail. The tail’s colors were very similar to Yasenia’s, but with different golden patterns. Other than that, they couldn’t tell much more because his figure was still developing.

Ao Xianlan analyzed the egg again, her eyes confused. “He IS a dragon. There is no doubt in my mind. However, why is he not in a dragon shape?”

Tatyana also tilted her head. She had not seen a dragon species that was born with a humanoid form. Gaining a human form was a process that happened later, after all.

Yasenia pondered and blinked. “At the speed he is developing, it will take a few more years, right?”

Ao Xianlan agreed. “At least 20 more years to hatch, at most… 100 years.”

“Whoa.” Star Forge exclaimed. “Why is the difference so large?”

Ao Xianlan shook her head. “The activity inside varies a lot. So this boy’s growth can truly go between those, but I am absolutely certain that it won’t go below or above each of them.”

Yasenia nodded. “20 years… That’s enough.”

Tatyana asked. “What’s your plan?”

Yasenia’s golden eyes blazed with determination. “I’ll use one more month to recover. Then, I will go to the two remaining lands and finish them as fast as I can. When I am done, I will go find Andrea. She was not here for the birth, but I want her to be there for the hatching at least.”

Tatyana understood and smiled. “Alright, go get yourself busy then. Don’t worry about this boy. I will take care of him.”

Yasenia nodded firmly. If she were not in a hurry, she would naturally be reluctant to get away from her egg. However, how could Yasenia allow her child to be born away from his other mother?

So, she was determined to complete her training and then travel to the Lower Heaven at her fastest speed. Not to mention, Yasenia was missing her lovers dearly! She wanted to go meet them as fast as she could once she was done here.

Looking at the sky, Yasenia sighed with emotion. “Well over half a century has silently passed already since I left them. I hope they are doing fine.”

Tai Qingzhe spoke, confused. “That’s not that large of a timeframe, right?”

Star Forge reminded her. “You are forgetting Young Miss is only 157 years old. Over half a century is half her life.”

Tatyana realized and looked at Yasenia strangely. “If we count the time you spent inside that War Trial, you’ve been away from your lovers longer than you’ve been with them.”

Yasenia almost started crying. “Don’t remind me! Wahhh! I am such a bad mother and wifeeee!”

Tatyana’s lips twitched. ‘Crap, I hit a soft spot.’

So, for the rest of the day, everyone tried to console the utterly disheartened dragoness. Thankfully, the remaining hormones seemed to help trigger strong emotional flips, and Yasenia recovered swiftly.

A month passed quickly, and seeing her baby boy doing perfectly fine, Yasenia finally decided to move on… or so she told herself. She was too attached to the egg, and she kept postponing it.

Tatyana, feeling her eyebrow twitching, kicked the dragon straight across the sky when one year had rolled over since she gave birth, sending her headfirst in front of the volcanic region, ready for the next trial.
