Yasenia bit down hard, feeling the contractions. Tatyana saw the egg poke and started stretching Yasenia. ‘Hm? The egg is not fully solid?’

Her sharp eyes noticed that the surface of the egg was deforming very slightly as the uterine walls compressed.

Knowing that the birth had started, Tatyana looked up with a squint. ‘Heaven… is not reacting.’

This made her sigh in relief. ‘Let’s not lose focus, lest Heaven tries to be cheeky and strike when I am not paying attention.’

Tatyana and the others, using mortal movements, quickly moved out of the cave. Tatyana glanced at the sky one last time, and seeing no reaction, a trace of final relief flashed in her eyes. ‘Perfect. The first of Yasenia’s children is clearly accepted by Heaven, meaning that her species is now fully integrated.’

Meanwhile, when Yasenia laid the egg, a trickle of energy began flowing around her meridians again. Like rain falling onto a desert, Yasenia absorbed everything, and her mind began recovering.

She quickly coiled around the egg, placing it very carefully between her as she snuck her head under her wing. Her golden slit eyes looked at the egg, and she smiled delightedly. “Hehehe. You are such a handsome egg~...” Yasenia paused and blinked. “Hm? Why did I use that adjective?”

As she looked closely, to her utter surprise and delight, she noticed a very important detail. “A Son!” Her golden eyes shone dazingly. “My baby is a boy! Hahaha!”

One must know that for Yasenia, giving birth to a boy was extremely difficult! It was probably less than one in ten who would be born as boys. So, it was not that she preferred boys, but that it was too rare for her to have male progeny!

So, when Yasenia smelled the scent of a boy from the egg, she was extremely delighted and happy. Her dragon tail began wagging aggressively, her tongue licking the soft egg lovingly.
