Chapter 583: Chapter 583. Plain sight( Inspirational capsule Chapter)

Kailen was currently seated in the bedroom of the apartment he had rented at the inn.

A glint flashed through his eyes.

"Vimodials, always hiding in plain sight," Kailen sighed.

As he was in the restaurant listening to the couple, he had spotted a fellow stare in his direction.

Kailen didn’t ask the time dilation artifact for confirmation if the fellow was a vimodial or not.

However, with emotional resonance, Kailen could figure out the person’s train of thought.

Thoughts like, What potent life force. A perfect specimen for senior brother, repeatedly flashed through the mind of the person.

Kailen realized this individual was a vimodial.

"She’s a rank 4 beginner stage universe level powerhouse. Dealing with her would not have been an issue if she had not disappeared from the room as soon as she said that."

Kailen deployed his three shadow hounds to scout the district. However, there were no traces of her. Also, there were no traces of other vimodials.

"It seems she’s not in the district. Perhaps she is in the star system at large. I need to deal with this issue before it comes to bite me in the ass later. From her words, she was likely reporting me to someone who most likely needs to feed on me to break into the next level. This person she’s reporting me to has most likely been stuck in that particular level for a long time and is desperate. Even if I change my appearance, my life force will give me away. Vimodials are perceptive to life force signatures after all, and I cannot hide it. I suppose an invisibility or concealment rune is the only alternative."

Kailen activated a concealment rune and an invisibility rune at the same time.

His shadow hounds passed through the star system, searching multiple regions.

Streets full of people.

Skies full of hover vehicles.

Skyscrapers which looked like Victorian Era buildings.

Mountains, forests... villas and offices of big shots. They kept searching. Kailen observed.

He had not found anything yet, but he was patient.

Very soon, he found the woman he had been looking for.

She was walking into a luxurious villa in a district of another planetary sector.

Kailen decided to observe her.

She knocked on a door and entered a room in one of the rooms of the villa.

Kailen observed from the eyes of the shadow hound.

A man was seated by a bed.

On the bed was a wrinkled-looking person.

The woman sighed as she stared at the wrinkled-looking person.

"She is still not getting better?"

"What does it look like, sister?" the man spoke, half irritated at her question. But beneath that irritation was serious exhaustion.

The woman didn’t take his response to heart. After all, she knew he was having a hard time.

"I found someone with enough life force to make you break through."

The man widened his eyes in surprise at the words of his sister.

"You mean I can break through to rank 5 beginner stage universe level? After all these years?" Coldness rippled in the eyes of the gentleman as he continued, memories flashing through his eyes. "I can finally have revenge on the bastard who did this to my wife, and join the entrance exams of the Seasoned Prime Sect. Perhaps in the sect, I can find a cure for her."

Kailen was quite amused.

He had quite some respect for this vimodial.

He was doing this for his wife? Interesting.

Kailen knew the guy was not lying.

Anyway, it was time to get this over with.

Suddenly, the shadow hound blew a trace of powdered poison in the room and left.

Coughs and dying screams reverberated behind the shadow hound, presence veiled completely.

Kailen heaved a sigh of relief in his room as he told the other two scouting shadow hounds, alongside hound 1 who had just killed the vimodials, to return to the shadow expanse.

He lay on his bed in thought.

"I forgot one important thing. Vimodials can blend in with normal people and no one will notice," Kailen mused further in realization. "This guy was thinking of enrolling in the Seasoned Prime Sect. If he has that thought, other vimodials have similar thoughts too. Plus, there are definitely people in the sect who are vimodials. They will definitely target me because of my potent life force. I suppose I will have to deal with these inconveniences when I enroll into the sect."

Kailen assumed a meditative posture.

After making a universe energy gathering rune, he started cultivating.

Very soon, a few days passed in a flash.

Kailen’s eyes flickered open.

"As expected. The universe level is not a walk in the park."

He was still at the rank 2 beginner stage universe level. He was not surprised.

"Hopefully, the sect will have places with better concentration of universe energy. Time to leave for the entrance exams."

Kailen vacated the apartment after taking a quick shower to refresh himself.

Clad in white sneakers, a T-shirt and blue jeans, he headed out of the establishment.

Kailen took out a hover vehicle he had purchased when he got to the Eldorath Empire.

He sat in it and sped off. He was headed towards the teleportation gate that would lead to where the Seasoned Prime Sect was.

It was not only Kailen headed in that direction. Several individuals were also headed there.

Kailen enjoyed the scenery as the hover vehicle whizzed across buildings, his brown hair billowing in the wind.

"This empire’s buildings look like some Victorian Era buildings. Even the skyscrapers have that design. Some fellows even dress like it’s some Victorian Era. The universe is really vast with all manner of cultures," Kailen thought.

Very soon, he arrived in front of the teleportation gate, alongside several others in their hover vehicles too.

After the officers before the teleportation gates took a few universe coins from them, they were allowed to pass through the teleportation gates.

Soon, it was Kailen’s turn.

He entered the teleportation gate. His destination was the Seasoned Prime Galaxy like many others — the Galaxy of the Seasoned Prime Sect.
