He Became A Monstrous Genius After Obtaining A Time Dilation Artifact-Chapter 568. Beautiful sight
Virtual Universe forums had exploded.
News outlets were exploding.
Everywhere, there was only one name being discussed.
The Void Arbiter.
Shock. Awe. Reverence.
The satellite footage of what had happened at the Frontlines of the Edlath Empire had exploded everywhere.
" This Arbiter Darkhaven is really unparalleled."
" I can’t stop watching the video."
"What terrifying mastery of the law of space is this?"
"Just a wave of his hand and the vimodials were just erased."
"He’s indeed terrifying."
"The Void Arbiter looked too calm. It was as if he was putting an end to a bunch of chickens."
"47,000 supreme stage dao level vimodials, including rank 7 supreme stage dao level vimodials, some of whom had mastered special laws. All erased."
"I heard the other arbiters were away on another business and they could not heed the call. Arbiter Darkhaven was the only one available."
" Naturally, the other arbiters trust in his power that he can handle things even if they are not around."
" He’s too powerful."
*******
Kailen himself felt like using a couple of days’ rest. After this, he planned to focus on cultivating. If there were any threats that demanded his attention as an arbiter, he would just send his shadow creatures to handle them for him.
At the moment, the focus of the discussion was in the virtual universe with Arrie and the others. The group was having a relaxing time.
" How were your missions?"
" It went very well. But some dangers were naturally encountered."
"Academy missions are really no joke."
" Indeed, it’s like they are trying to weed out geniuses and keep monsters in the end."
" Yeah, however, we managed to complete them successfully."
" As for the academy, no one dares to cause trouble for us anymore."
" They call us the Darkhaven Clique."
" Darkhaven Clique? That’s cringe."
" Yeah. After your biography was played during your inauguration and we were revealed to go way back with you, people give us gazes of respect whenever they see us. Especially Arrie. Even stronger students call her senior sister now."
"Of course, that does not change the ruthless nature of the academy. We are the only ones people don’t dare to cross."
"During ranking battles though, people fight us fairly. After all, their ability to secure quality mentors depends on that."
"But, even students more powerful than us do not fight with an intention to kill, something unlikely in the academy."
" They are literally scared to try to kill any of us because of what you are capable of."
" Although some of us have suffered crushing defeats at the hands of high rankers during ranking battles though."
"Wow."
" Yeah, Kailen. But it’s a good thing. We will surpass those students sooner or later and secure more powerful law mentors."
" Sucks that I don’t have any of your laws. We could have met from time to time in the virtual universe so I could give you law guidance."
" Don’t sweat it, Kai. We will manage. Besides, we will be high rankers sooner or later. Thanks to the resources you left behind for us."
" Yeah, plus we are not that bad. It’s just that compared to you, we are not geniuses. However, it’s a different situation if we are to be compared to others."
"You guys are making me embarrassed."
" Look at this guy humble bragging."
" Hehe."
The group spent quality time together. After that, Kailen’s friends, Arrie included, left the virtual universe and went to the Dao Enlightenment Academy.
However, there was something on Kailen’s mind.
He sighed, back reclining in the chair. He really owed Arrie an explanation. He knew she was not offended about him not telling her about the mysterious backing behind his extremely fast growth.
But Kailen knew she knew he had a mysterious backing. Even if Kailen had put in effort, getting to this level at such an extremely abnormal speed after cultivating for a few years was not normal.
However, she didn’t pry, and she didn’t trust Kailen any less. That made him all the more guilty about it. After all, their relationship was not one built on secrets.
"Kid, you can tell Arrie that you have a mysterious senior who is your master and has been guiding you from the shadows," the Time Dilation Artifact said as she suddenly appeared before him. "However, even you yourself do not know the master’s actual identity, as they refuse to reveal themselves. Even after I reveal my actual identity to you when you get to the rank 1 supreme stage universe level, don’t tell her more about me. Her, or any other person knowing will not be beneficial to me in any other way."
The Time Dilation Artifact gobbled down a chicken and disappeared into the shadow expanse.
Kailen nodded in understanding.
At least, that would be better than telling her nothing. His mind was calm now.
As for the rest of his friends, he cared about them, but he decided to not tell them anything at all. Everything could be left to their imagination.
Kailen remained in the virtual universe by himself.
He spent his time painting a couple of things to while away time and relax his mind.
A week later, Arrie returned to the virtual universe.
Kailen told her that he had a mysterious senior who is his master and has been guiding him from the shadows, and that, even he himself did not know the master’s identity, as the master refuses to reveal himself.
Arrie stared at him with warmth. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
" Honestly, it didn’t even matter to me. It doesn’t change anything." She chuckled, bubbly as usual.
" I was just curious, that’s all. At least now, my curiosity is satisfied. Hehe."
Kailen’s eyes revealed a trace of warmth.
This was his woman. If she could not stand by him, who could?
It was not just Arrie being a genius that made her special.
It was her temperament, maturity, and how supportive she was of Kailen.
Kailen pulled her in for a kiss.
Arrie’s eyes revealed a trace of slight shock at the sudden intimate display. Her cheeks flushed crimson. Her gaze melted, and she gave in, savoring the moment.
The moons cast their glows on their figures, peering through the glass windows of the villa.
It was a beautiful sight to behold.
