Chapter 515: Chapter 515. Overwhelming 1

Kailen, the squad, and even Boro were in a room.

Quickly, Kailen’s hands moved.

Runes flickered beautifully to life, and a large hole shimmering with runic engravings appeared. He didn’t have time to make a mobile teleportation gate, so he made do with a teleportation circle. No one was in the mood to appreciate Kailen’s monstrosity.

He hopped into it, and everyone followed.

They could only hope Kailen’s grandparents and Boro’s family were safe, and that they would not arrive too late.

The teleportation circle shrunk and disappeared the moment they went through it.

Meanwhile, at the Arman Empire.

Various fleets of vimodial contractors were arriving from everywhere. They launched devastating attacks on planetary sectors and solar systems.

The empire military fought back with everything they had, but the enemy numbers and strength were extremely overwhelming.

The vimodial contractors were overwhelming the troupes of the empire, taking over various regions of the empire and displaying carnage everywhere.

Seas of corpses that looked like dried and husky bodies, a testament that their life force had been absorbed, were everywhere.

Some of those that were spared were to be made breeding agents to generate more lifeforms for the feeding of the vimodial contractors.

Others were to be turned into vimodial contractors to increase enemy numbers.

At this moment, several cataclysmic battles were happening everywhere, predominantly above the royal capital of the Arman Empire.

In outer space, above the capital, a feminine figure radiating a mature aura had several palm prints of water circling around her figure.

About five different individuals had been circling around her, launching various attacks of different magnitudes towards her. A large ice bell, a ginormous lightning bolt, amongst others.

Their attacks and their figures flickered in and out of motion. They attempted to attack her. They crashed, however, into the rotating water palm prints. It was as if the palm prints had been interrupting their attacks over and over again.

Cataclysmic explosions rippled outwards from the clashes. Some nearby uninhabitable planets were even reduced to dust in the process.

This showed the scale of the battle.

At the moment, the palm prints seemed to move towards one another. The water palm prints shot towards one another and merged into an extremely large palm print. Then, something like a pagoda made of water appeared and shot towards the palm print. It was as if the palm print had held the pagoda.

The enemy powerhouses were about to launch their strongest techniques. However, it was as if they had been caught in slow motion.

The water palm print seemed to slam the water pagoda down towards them. It tore through the void and landed on them. Dying screams emerged as they were obliterated into nothing.

"If I use the Oasis Verdict, most of the powerhouses of the sect will come here. Grandson’s loved ones may not be safe when that happens. I need to hold on. Father is currently in seclusion with Mother, as they are attempting to break into the Dao level. If I use the Oasis Verdict, the sect will not be safe. I need to hold on till grandson gets here. With his current strength, I have faith in him. I don’t know how he will do it, but he didn’t even use a fraction of his trump cards during his recent display in Atlantis . All I need to do is hold on."

The woman coughed a mouthful of blood as she spoke. This was Kailen’s maternal grandmother, Elyria Clover, Empress of the Arman Empire.

At this moment, her eyes peered towards another area.

A heroic figure covered in dazzling flames and holding a hammer clashed repeatedly with several enemy powerhouses in cataclysmic proportions. Their silhouettes were like lines converging towards one another due to the magnitude of their speed. Anytime they clashed, the aftershock led to devastating effects on the celestial bodies in the nearby vicinity.

Various attacks of enormous proportions were launched between the heroic dazzling figure and the enemy powerhouses, but it seemed they were caught in a stalemate. This was a battle of attrition; whoever ran out of universe energy reserves first would give the opponent an opening to kill them. This was how serious the fight was.

The figure clashing with the enemy powerhouses was Auctevius Clover, Kailen’s maternal grandfather and the Emperor of the Arman Empire.

"Grandson and Lawrence would be arriving very soon. I need to buy some time for them," he mused as his figure blazed with determination. "Come on, you spineless motherfuckers!"

He clashed with the enemy once again.

They wondered. Why was this bastard burning his life force? Didn’t he know how to give up?

They were all rank 7 supreme stage galactic level vimodial contractors.

Although it was surprising to find out that during these three years he and his wife had broken through to their level, it was pretty obvious that he was at a disadvantage in this battle. Even if he managed to kill one of them, the outcome would still be the same.

"The Arman Empire will fall today, Emperor. No need to fight a pointless battle," one of them snickered.

"Fuck off."

This was all the Emperor said before he clashed into the enemy again.

His words travelled across the battlefields. The Emperor’s insulting words towards the enemy powerhouses he was fighting were like some sort of energy drink. It boosted the morale of the empire troupes, and they charged relentlessly towards the vimodial contractors with all they had.

At this moment, the void seemed to ripple.

Several figures stepped out of the void.

The figures had arrived at the royal capital of the Arman Empire.

Battles were occurring everywhere, with several sectors destroyed. The scent of battle screams, scorched corpses, and blood lingered everywhere. Smoke rose everywhere, and boom-shaking sounds resounded everywhere. Affinities rippled everywhere, and enemies and empire troupes kept clashing.

The moment the figures stepped out of the void, every one of the figures in Kailen’s group spread towards different directions, clashing with various enemies.

At this moment, Kailen’s eyes rippled.

His perception, his shadow sense, and his elemental mirroring were activated. It spread across multiple sectors and regions of the empire. He was only looking for a few people—the family of his grand uncle, and his grandparents.

Finally, a glint flashed through his eyes.

"Grand uncle, your family is safe. They are under the protection of the imperial guard. Uncle Lawrence, I found Grandpa and Grandma. Their situation won’t be dire for long, so don’t worry."

After Lawrence and Boro received Kailen’s thought transmissions, the worry in their hearts disappeared. They focused solely on the enemies they were fighting.

It was not just blind faith in Kailen. It was because this guy never overestimated himself. Since he said they should not worry, it meant the end of the enemy had already been decided.

After Kailen spoke, he disappeared.
