He Became A Monstrous Genius After Obtaining A Time Dilation Artifact-Chapter 505. Fire over Atlantis 4
Empire wide audience watched everything, praying that the siege on Atlantis would fail. For a long time, the war had been happening at the Frontlines. The citizens were very used to a peaceful environment for a long time. However, what they were seeing on the screens was a wake up call for them.
Was this peace going to crumble?
They knew that Atlantis was in empire territory. If the enemy invasion succeeded, the war would shift from the Frontlines into empire territory. Some of them couldn’t even imagine how they would die if something like that happened.
Phila, her parents and daughter, Phoebie, were very worried at the moment. The battles of their loved ones were ongoing. They were not feeling happy. Neither were they confident. The odds were against the empire troops. What if something happened to them? Everything was so clear that anyone who had no knowledge of war technicalities, could see that the empire was losing.
"I know that Uncle Kailen, Daddy and the others will find a way to protect us even if the worst happens. Don’t worry mum," Felicia said.
"Silly girl. Leave those kind of statements to us the adults." Phila pulled her daughter in for a hug.
Everyone sighed. They could just pray that Kailen and the others would be safe, whatever happens.
Helena was currently in the Vatican Empire , in the Headquarters of the Titanium Research Institute for an exchange event concerning her research. In her apartment, she stared at the holographic screens with a worried expression on her face.
"Whatever happens, please survive."
But everyone was wondering.
Where was Kailen Darkhaven?
Also, why had all his obsidian creatures suddenly disappeared from the battlefield.

At the distant location of Atlantis where the enemy teleportation gates were stationed, a large troupe of vimodial contractors kept coming through from the other side. Their numbers were staggering. Also, rune inscribed weapons, amongst others, were being transferred through the teleportation gates.
"Secure the area. Intel says that empire powerhouses have made an appearance. Although the possibility of them locating this place is almost nil, we don’t want to take any chances," a commander who had just stepped through one of the teleportation gates said.
Due to the distorted energy fields in this region, empire broadcast and military surveillance channels could not cover this non habitable part of Atlantis. There was no way the empire could locate this place. But they could not take any risks.
The troupes replied, "Sir."
Suddenly, the commander heard a whizzing sound.
"What the hell is that?"
The commander squinted his eyes, focusing his perception towards the distance.
However, he saw nothing. It was as if the thing he saw had disappeared.
Then a sense of dread encumbered him.
Something seemed to have held his head.
His skull was being crushed, but there was nothing he could do. He felt extremely powerless.
What the hell was going on?
Was he dying?
"Yes, you are dying. Tsk. To think I’d have to find a new contractor."
His vimodial confirmed his instincts.
Was it not confirmed that no one would find this place due to the distorted energy fields? How the hell had someone found this place?
Also, was he dying, just like that?
The surrounding troupes could not process what was happening. Not even a moment had passed.
Before they acted, the obsidian figure with a red horn nestled atop his forehead, and elemental energies and affinities shimmering around him, crushed the head of the commander, causing his blood to spill all over.
Then, his figure flickered. He was like a phantom.
"He’s focusing on the fucking teleportation gates, attack him!" a lieutenant shouted, as various attacks were launched towards the enemy.
The figure seemed to be teleporting across the place. He would disappear from one teleportation gate to the next. Anytime his figure moved to the next, the previous one would explode into pieces.
Attacks rained towards him, but it was as if he had eyes everywhere. Not only did he keep teleporting, it was as if he knew where attacks would come from, and he evaded them with extreme ease. His focus was on the teleportation gates. He didn’t pay the attacks any attention.
This went on for a few moments, until all the teleportation gates were destroyed.
Kailen’s figure turned, red hair billowing.
"Time to deal with these bastards."
The moment they saw him, someone recognized him.
"Fuck. It’s Kailen Darkhaven." 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
Someone finally recognized him. It was the lead runesmith in charge of the place.
Kailen could feel the spiritual power radiating from the fellow.
Kailen’s figure shot towards him. Before the fellow could launch a spiritual attack against him, he felt his vision cartwheeling. His head was severed from his body. Kailen Darkhaven had used his hand to sever his head from his body.
In a few moments, Kailen dealt with all the runesmiths. He killed them all.
Kailen’s figure whizzed across the place. His figure turned colossal, using shadow manipulation.
Many attacks were launched towards him, but they did nothing to him.
Lightning attacks, flame attacks, earth attacks, water attacks, curse attacks amongst others.
Affinity attacks that shook the void rippled everywhere, launched towards his colossal figure.
"Fuck, the bastard predicted that the runesmirhs were about to launch a rune array attack against him. So he killed them before they could even try."
"What the hell is this guy?"
"Focus everything on him! We can’t let him leave here alive!" a captain shouted.
The moment he spoke, a colossal obsidian hand that blotted out everything fell on him and flattened him into meat paste.
Then a massacre ensued.
Lightning snakes. Colossal vines. Flame arcs and fireballs. Water beams and constructs. Ginormous earth boulders, shadow blades amongst others. Poisons, runic animals. They fell, under Kailen’s command. Each land was precise, felling enemy troupes.
It was a massacre. An army of about 8000 vimodial contractors, all dead.
No matter how much the enemy fought back, it was simply inevitable. Kailen Darkhaven was just too powerful.
Very soon, blood and floating corpses filled the sea bed.
"The guys should at least know I’m safe. At least I know how they are faring from watching their feeds through empire and military satellites. But the connection in this region is cut off due to energy storms and distortions. Can’t have them worrying too much. At least as I head back, I should send them a video of what happened here."
The moment Kailen was heading back, about to send the video to his friends, the Time Dilation Artifact appeared and messed with the message. The message was sent to the empire broadcasting channels.
What Kailen had done here was being watched by everyone in the empire.
Kailen sighed as he stared at the Time Dilation Artifact. She pouted and disappeared.
"Talk about unnecessary attention," Kailen shook his head and sighed at the outcome. "Well, whatever."
