Kailen's thoughts had sometimes lingered towards the anonymous savior that had clutched him from having a reunion with his parents. However, he had not dwelt on the thought too deeply, brushing it off , then focusing on more important matters.

However, all that was over now, and most of all, the 'why' behind the person's reason for saving him surfaced. He was well aware of how wicked people were. He had seen firsthand how even those who claimed to love you would abandon you and scorn you when you failed to live up to their expectations.

The only people who had sincerely cared about him and loved him without demanding he proves himself to deserve that love was his parents.

Despite being anchored by the shadow whirlwind , Kailen swore he could picture himself almost tripping and falling after hearing the system's statement. He ignored the system a few moments later, his gaze landing on the dainty woman again.

The young lady muttered, her words confirming Kailen's theory of her being the one that had healed him.

''So it was her'' He mused inwardly, then asked ''Thank you for saving my life. But why did you do it?.. What do you want from me?''

The young lady feigned a painful expression on her face, intentionally clutched her heart and mimicked a stagger so perfect that Kailen even questioned himself whether or not she worked in the movie industry.

She however noticed Kailen's serious and deadpan expression, cleared her throat playfully and voiced ''Because I'm a healer. I cannot just watch someone die you know?''

Kailen scoffed, his expression incredulous, not believing a word the lady had spoken. Did she think his head was made of roasted or mushed vegetables?

People always had selfish reasons for their actions. After all, now that he thought of it, he had been recently popular on the news. She may have recognized who he was and wanted him to owe her. She could just come clean, rather blurting out those absurd words like a hypocrite.

She sighed, not bothering to explain herself further.

She turned around, about to enter the private jet through the opened window. However, she glanced at Kailen once more, then, she clutched something from the pocket of her baggy jeans, after which she hovered towards Kailen and tossed it to him.
