HDXD: Omni Harem System-Chapter 242: A Deep Rabbit Hole

A little philosophical for a child to ponder about, however, his upbringing shape and mold him to think this way.

But that aside, he stepped into the cavern, another torch in hand, the air biting at his.

Moisture ran down the walls in thin streams, slick and glimmering in the wavering light. The tunnels twisted unnaturally, narrowing and opening again.

"Sigh, I can't wait to go back, I really hate cold place."

Johnaton said as he crouched low to pass under a jagged overhang, each step deliberate in the case, as it was need to reach, where he wanted to reach.

But as soon as he felt the minor quake of the cave, he knew he was close.

As the distant tremors beneath the ground was faint at first, then stronger, vibrating through the soles of his boots and up into his chest.

"I still can't believe we are doing all of this for some students, but the nobility of this world has truly cultivate some exceptional monsters indeed."

"Every student here is a bag of power. Every ounce of their potential can be turned to Vileth's will. Kill, disrupt, harvest… that is my no our current job. But at the very least, they don't work is for free."

The tunnel widened again, revealing another narrow path.

"Hmm, finally I am here, I hope #6 finish taming the feind."

Johanton said as he traverse the narrow path.

Up ahead glowing lights came into view.

Red hue illuminating the narrow path a bit, soon he turn to the side to fit into small hole leading to parth of the Cavern he wanted to be.

And soon as he entered in he was met with massive opening.

With giant red stones that where glowing. Giving the environment a dull but reliable enough light source to see what was going on.

However this opening led to an edge, as the entire space itself was giant pit. However the pit itself was not empty.

As he walk to the edge of it.

And look down that ways when he saw it .

Before his eyes a monstrous, writhing slug-like mass, so large in almost filled the entirety of the deep pit.

It was Queen of the Slugs...the Hive Mind Core. Its skin glistened in blues and greys, ice veins snaking across its surface, and abstract looking mass.

Weirdly though... black Chains coiled around it, blackened and pulsing with dark energy, etched with demonic symbols.

With every breathe, or alien movement it rose to a roar that filled the cavern, by nature it was truly and eldritch abomination by earth standards.

"Ahhh, this thing is really ugly."

Jonathan said to himself.

"Hahaha.... She is a beauty isn't she Johnny Senpai?"

"Hmmm... Daisy you there?"

From the shadows, a presence detached itself.

"#5 at your service.... fufuf."

The voice said, in cute, and carefree manner.

Then from below a figure floated upwards passing the cliff edge.

It was a woman.

Her name was Daisy.

And she floated into view, her petite frame illuminated by the eerie red glow of the cavern's stones.

She was deceptively delicate, barely reaching five feet, with a cute face that radiated an almost childlike charm.

Her wide, heart-shaped eyes sparkled with mischief, their deep violet hue glowing slightly in the cavern.

A cascade of silvery-blonde hair fell in loose waves past her shoulders, tied loosely with a purple star shae hair clip as she hovered.

Her skin was porcelain-pale, unmarred and glowing faintly, as if a dimly lit sun.

A playful, lopsided grin curved her lips, revealing a single dimple that only enhanced her cute, carefree demeanor.

She wore a fitted, dark purple tunic that hugged her slight curves, its edges embroidered with detailed silver runes kind of similar to green one, less cultist members have on their left hands.

That pulsed faintly with Divine energy.

A short, flared skirt swayed around her thighs, and she wore knee-high boots, scuffed but stylish, completed her outfit.

A small, crescent-shaped pendant hung at her throat, its surface etched with heart shape symbol.

But despite her adorable appearance, there was an unsettling feeling to her being.

Kind of like how nature warns you that colorful or glowing things are poisonous, she gave off that same vibe.

Daisy looked at Johanton, his eyes where tired but nevertheless, it does not change her feeling for him one bit.

But she was knocked out of her thoughts.

As Johanton called out to her.

"Daisy."

Jonathan called, his voice steady.

"Have you finished subjugating the Queen?"

A faint shimmer of light traced her figure as she hovered slightly above the edge, as she nodded.

"Yes...

She replied.

"As long as my Chains of Love are in place, we have complete control over her. The Hive obeys entirely to the queen you see. And with The Core, the Queen… now under my influence everything is under our command."

Jonathan nodded back, his gaze drifting down toward the monstrous, writhing mass below.

"Good... That means we can move forward with our orders to kill as many students on this planet as possible. The others probably have it easier than us though. But if want win, we need weaken humanity military forces, while also harvesting the many potential on their sides for our selves."

"Yeah, yeah senpai... beside I have already commanded the execution. As the other Cryokinetic Slugs are targeting the students. But like you said, we were unlucky to get this planet. Adam… he is here."

Jonathan let out a long, low sigh.

"I mentioned that, because of all the strong student here, not because of Adam... but of course he is here, just our luck wr also have to deal with that freak of nature. The strongest student in the entire New Hera, and the 2nd Strongest person in Sector-C. He will definitely make things extra difficult for us."

"Even before we came here Father Magla made it clear he is anomaly none of the stars can beat alone, as such he is not easy to deal with."

Jonathan muttered once more, and then ended with.

"But even so, if we succeed in killing as many as we can, the mission is still a success. But I doubt things will go smoothly with Monster here. He is retarded as one of the strongest for a reason."

Daisy tilted her head, noting the slight tension in him.

"You don't need to worry, Jonathan. My contract spirit is supplying the Queen with her Blood Astrum. Because of it, it currently inducing rare mutations in the Hive, allowing for her subjects to control finite amounts at a time. They can also absorb, recharge, and maintain reserves through their connection to the Queen. Adam may be strong, but even he cannot protect all the students scattered across this planet at once."

At Daisy words, Jonathan's eyes followed the dark, sinuous chains that bound the Hive Mind, wrapping around its immense body like a web of shadow.

And she was right about this atleast.

Even with Adam interfering, there is no way he can stop everything.

Still he can't help but shake the feeling that they where about to find out just how deep the Rabbit Hole of Adam Van Hellsing truly goes.

Either way though, Johanton looked at Daisy, and said.

"Well just keep the queen reproduction going, the more Slugs we have, the more our chances of victory is."

"I will use the power of my Demonic Law to speed up their growth and power."

"Also, if we are going to ensure our plan work, I will have increase the queen power too so she engulfed the entire planet with ice. Since these slug can't survive in that horrific heat zone on the other side of the planet."

Daisy just nod as she replied.

"AYE-AYE captain."

"Good, by the way, have you sent out fellow followers too to help with the ordeal."

"Yeah, we spotted a cabin nearby full of students so Naltras is leading the charge on my orders to kill those group of students, while also searching for proper vessel candidates."
