Hated By The Alpha-Chapter 226: Mall Bantering
"No, she wouldn’t like that," Green shook her head, taking away the big boots from Sebastian’s hand.
Sebastian frowned and pushed the shopping cart away to another side of the mall.
Green sighed and placed the toddler’s boot down, walking toward Sebastian.
How could Sebastian pick a toddler’s boot for Audrey’s twins that aren’t even two months in their mother’s belly?
"Baby, can we just get a congratulatory gift for Audrey?" She walked up to Sebastian, who was once again picking up odd stuff from a display rack.
Sebastian paused and turned to her, placing a hand on his waist.
"No to diapers, too?" He asked.
Green chuckled, holding Sebastian’s hand, "Calm down, Sebastian. We can get all you want when she gives birth to the babies. For now, a simple gift for Audrey would suffice." She told him, smiling.
"Ohh, I get it now. Damn... I’m so dumb," He whispered.
Green leaned on and kissed his cheek, "Not dumb, cute." She said to him.
Sebastian smiled and took his hand away from the shopping cart, pulling Green closer, "Do you think we can make some cuties, too?" He asked quietly.
Green blushed, "Cuties? What are those?" She asked, feigning innocence.
Sebastian smirked, "What Audrey and Lake are expecting. I want to have those with you, too. Actually, tons -"
"You’re insane," Green pushed Sebastian away from her, "Tons? From who? I mean unless thereafter she’ll have that which allows men to bear cuties then I’m down. You bear twenty, I bear one... silly," She narrowed her eyes at him and walked away.
Sebastian quickly pushed the shopping cart to catch up to her, "Hey, hey, baby, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it that way. Maybe just ten, okay, just ten," he called after her but Green suddenly spun around and Sebastian found himself pushing the cart in the opposite direction.
"Oh, no, no, she’s making me do things again," Sebastian muttered as he found himself willingly walking in a direction he didn’t want to go.
Mark suddenly appeared from a corner and held the front of Sebastian’s shopping cart, stopping him with his own powers, "Easy there, Green. You might just push him into the arms of someone willing to bear tons of cuties." Mark winked and took his hand off the cart, allowing Sebastian to turn it back to Green’s direction.
"He wouldn’t dare," Green scoffed, folding her arms.
"Yes, I wouldn’t dare. Now, Mark, if you’d just turn around and keep walking, that would be nice," Sebastian cleared his throat, glancing at Green.
Mark narrowed his eyes, "Hmm, don’t tell me you’re afraid of Green?" He asked, smirking.
"Yes. I’m afraid of losing her. Now, you can really just walk away and mind your business," Sebastian said sternly.
Mark sighed loudly, "So much for helping a friend -"
"I never asked for your help. My mate and I are perfectly good. Right, baby?" Sebastian went to Green, kissing the back of her hand.
"Still need a ton?" She asked.
Sebastian shook his head, "One is just perfect." He smiled.
"Here you are, why did you leave me?" Leon pushed a shopping cart out from the corner Mark had walked out from.
Mark immediately turned away from Sebastian and turned to Leon.
"Um, no, I didn’t leave, I just came to help Sebastian over here," Mark explained, going over to stand by Leon’s side.
"No, he wasn’t helping me, he was just telling how tiresome it was to go shopping with you, right, honey?" Sebastian turned to Green.
Green nodded, "Yeah. He was just about ditching you here." She shook her head.
"Sebastian, Green, really?" Mark stared at them in disbelief.
"It’s alright, love. I know they’re lying. They’re just trying to cause trouble. I mean, it’s still a shock to me how Green managed to get herself a mate when I never saw a smile on her face for the past five years," Leon said calmly, hooking his arms around Mark.
Mark chuckled, "Same with Sebastian, he’s so lame that, I wonder how he got to convince the cold queen, it must be a tough relationship, don’t you think, love?" He questioned snidely.
"Indeed. Let’s go, baby, we don’t need to waste our time with this boring couple. Let’s go choose the best wedding gift for Audrey," Leon smiled slyly and pulled Mark away.
"Oh, shit. Green... we almost forgot about Audrey’s wedding gift," Sebastian whispered.
"Keep quiet, Seb, you’re going to make them look like the better people. Come on, I know just what to buy," Green said and pulled Sebastian with her.
After a while, Leon pulled on his shades as he walked out of the mall with Mark carrying the shopping bags behind him.
They passed a few parked cars before they got to their car. However, they saw their trunk already opened and a few bags sitting inside it.
Leon scoffed, "Did we really have to give them a ride? I mean, Sebastian has a car, but he still asked us for a ride to the mall. How inconveniencing." He muttered as he approached the car.
Mark sighed and quietly went to drop their bags inside the opened trunk, "And I guess they’re already inside the car -"
"Making out!" Leon pulled open the back door and glared at Sebastian and Green who had their tongues down each other’s throats.
Green calmly straightened out, looking out of the window while Sebastian looked disoriented, trying to act like nothing happened.
"Really? In our fucking car?" Leon questioned, frowning at Sebastian.
Sebastian shrugged, "A wolf has needs..." he winked.
Leon was about to speak when the car door suddenly slammed shut. Mark placed a hand on Leon’s waist, "Let them be, love, let’s hurry back and finish up the preparation." He kissed Leon’s cheek and opened the front door for him.
"Thanks, love," Leon said and got in the car.
The car ride was nothing close to quiet.
Sebastian and Leon kept bantering about some unknown topic with Mark and Green chipping in now and then.
"Finally, we’re back, I can’t wait to get away from a certain someone," Leon quickly pushed open the door the moment the car parked in front of the Packhouse, jumping out.
"Same, Leon, same," Sebastian said, holding his hand out to Green.
"Come on, we’ll have the msids pick our bags," Mark gently tugged Leon toward the house, ignoring an immature Sebastian.
Leon frowned as Mark pulled him inside the house and toward their room.
The moment they got inside their room, Leon groaned in frustration, "Sebastian is annoying." He kicked his shoes off his legs.
"I agree," Mark said, walking behind Leon to hug him from behind.
"Green, too. She has turned annoying after needing Sebastian," Leon said, his brows creased.
"Agreed," Mark murmured behind Leon as his hands gently unbuttoned Leon’s shirt.
"No more riding with them," Leon muttered.
"Hmm?" Mark hummed.
Leon turned his head to look at Mark, "I said, no -"
"Shh, I heard you the first time. Just needed you to look at me," Mark whispered and claimed Leon’s lips in a deep kiss.
Leon instantly realised that his shirt was already being pulled off his arms; he must have been too lost in Sebastian’s talk that he failed to pay attention to what Mark was doing.
"So? Do you want to talk about Sebastian... or... do something fun on the bed?" Mark questioned as he drew away from the kiss.
Leon but his lower lip, "What a dumb first choice. Take me to bed, Mr. Mark," Leon chuckled and drew Mark to the bed.
The sheets once again bore witness to the eve kindling love between two men, and after a while, they lay exhausted on the bed, tangled in each other’s arms.
"I love you more every time you make love to me," Leon whispered inside Mark’s ear.
Mark chuckled, "You’re in luck because I’ll keep making love to you for the rest of our lives." He promised.
Leon smiled and cuddled closer to Mark’s chest.
A knock suddenly sounded on the door, disrupting their love cocoon.
"What now? Must it be now?" Leon mumbled, throwing his legs over Mark.
"It’s my mother," Mark whispered, chuckling.
"I’m sorry to interrupt, Leon. But can I get Mark for a second? We just need to go over a few things for tomorrow," Miranda’s voice spoke from behind the door.
Leon felt heat crawl up his cheek, "I guess you have to go," he murmured.
"You can come with me, I’m not ready to separate, either," he kissed Leon’s lips and rolled off the bed, "Come on, love, let’s go let’s go put some finishing touches on those decorations." Mark winked and walked over to the wardrobe.
Excited, Leon followed.
He was excited for tomorrow as well, Audrey’s happily ever after was going to be witnessed in the presence of everyone.
He stared at Mark and wished for them to have a sweet ending just like Audrey and Lake.
Mark was the best thing to ever happen to him, leaving him was never an option, they were the forever deal.
