Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures-Chapter 1209: The Collision of Power
The eye was adorned with thick black eyeliner, exuding coldness, authority, and sharpness, devoid of any emotion. When it opened, a piercing wail echoed, lowering the temperature of the entire desert.
It was as if thousands of people were howling in pain, and as if the gate to the underworld had finally been opened.
This was the true Eye of Horus, the protective symbol of pharaohs throughout the ages.
Though it originated with the god Horus, but under the nurturing of successive pharaohs, its significance and power had far surpassed its original form.
It was a thing of rules, possessing the power of creation, an unparalleled artifact, and the pinnacle work of ancient sorcery.
With its help, Ramses II saw the changes that took place in the desert.
All things with form, such as sand and Horus’s body, vanished. What he saw was no longer the real world, but a world constructed by magic. In this world, he saw the essential form of Horus and where Evan was…
To perceive the true nature of all things, to see the true essence through concealment —this was one of the eye’s many uses.
“Interesting space spell!” Ramses II nodded, tracking Evan’s figure.
Though restricted by the rules, preventing him from using space magic — just as he was barred from using time magic — it did not hinder his understanding of these spells. In his impression, space magic was powerful but often complicated and cumbersome. It seemed impossible for him to change positions as easily as Evan did.
It appeared that the spellcasters of later generations were not as incompetent as he had thought; they had indeed created many new spells.
‘With this, unless Horus reveals his true form, he might have to withstand Evan’s magic directly. What kind of attack will it be?’ Ramses II was now far more intrigued than before. What had begun as a dull battle had suddenly become interesting.
Not only was Ramses II intrigued, but the sudden disappearance of Evan also caught Horus off guard.
He abruptly halted his attack, momentarily bewildered, not expecting Evan to use space magic.
Unlike Ramses II, Horus couldn’t perceive the essence of all things, but he had his own methods of sensing.
Almost at the moment Evan Apparated, Horus discovered his position, high in the sky behind him.
He turned his head and saw the tiny, ant-like figure of Evan plummeting from directly overhead…
Evan’s wand did not stop and moved very quickly, and the half-completed spell runes kept moving with him.
By the time Horus turned his head, Evan’s magic was complete.
Evan swung his wand one last time with all his strength, and the light blue runes in front of him suddenly expanded.
The runes grew larger and larger, quickly reaching the size of Evan’s height.
When the magic was completed, the Locket hanging around his neck rose up.
Its lid opened, and the Philosopher’s Stone with a soft red light slowly floated out and was held in Evan’s hand.
The next second, countless magic powers rushed frantically from the Philosopher’s Stone into his body.
Scorching energy surged wildly through Evan’s body, causing his previously healed wounds to reopen and bleed once more.
The excruciating pain seared through his nerves, reigniting that overwhelming surge of power — the strength to command all things once more surged within him.
Bone-piercing pain and power beyond imagination, this was how Evan felt now.
In his eyes, the almighty God Horus was no longer as invincible as before.
As Horus directed another energy orb toward him, just as before, Evan did not dodge or retreat.
He waved his wand, and a golden, gleaming shield appeared in front of him to block it.
The shield and the energy orb collided, and after a sound resembling the striking of a gong, both vanished without a trace.
Evan continued to plummet, now much closer to Horus.
The relentless flow of magic within him was reaching its limit. He felt as though he were a balloon, inflated to its breaking point, and any further intake of magic would cause him to burst. Without hesitation, he channeled the immense magic within him into the spell runes in front of him.
With the influx of magic power, the light on the runes became stronger and stronger, and in an instant it became somewhat dazzling.
Using Evan’s body and wand as conduits, the runes he had drawn as a focal point, the vast magic energy was compressed and compressed further.
Eventually, this huge amount of magic power was gathered and compressed together to form an energy orb similar to the ones surrounding Horus’s body.
This white energy orb was much smaller in size compared to Horus’s orbs and lacked any additional magical properties. It was purely a mass of compressed magical energy, so dense that Evan could see the magic particles colliding within, emitting a faint crackling sound like electricity.
But there was no doubt — this energy orb was far more powerful!
“The Philosopher’s Stone… Alchemy, perhaps?!” Ramses II mused, ascending higher into the air. “A rather primitive way of harnessing power… It seems like a fragment of a larger spell that he’s isolated, but it’s quite effective!”
His gaze lingered on the runes before Evan for a while before shifting to the Locket around Evan’s neck.
Compared to Evan’s attack, the Pharaoh seemed more interested in Slytherin’s Locket…
Evan controlled his magic and charged toward Horus.
The god tried to dodge, but Evan was too close, and Horus’s massive form made it difficult for him to maneuver swiftly.
Even though he flew very fast, he could not avoid Evan’s attack.
He waved his right hand, and the golden magic barrier appeared again. The energy orbs floating around his body all flew towards Evan.
Then, the collision occurred!
The collision of energies, the collision of pure magic and raw power!
BOOM!!!

Along with the loud noise, there was a huge explosion that shook the heavens and the earth.
With the collision point as the center, a point of white light appeared, and then quickly expanded outward along with the impact force caused by the explosion.
In an instant, the dazzling white light enveloped the entire desert.
Sand and gravel were flying everywhere and strong winds were blowing. Under the powerful impact, the huge body of God Horus suddenly fell downwards and landed heavily in the desert.
The ground trembled from the impact.
A massive crater formed where Horus landed, his enormous form buried beneath the shifting sands.
Evan was nowhere to be seen, but Ramses II, who had been observing the battle closely, had noticed him using Apparition at the last moment.
He appeared in the desert far away from here, but the sand waves raised by the explosion still buried him.
The entire desert fell into an eerie silence, with only Ramses II hovering high above and the gaping chasm below as a reminder of the battle.
That chasm marked the spot where Horus had fallen, the ground sunken to form a deep abyss.
As Evan struggled to crawl out from beneath the sand, he felt an unprecedented weakness.
Previous experiences told him that he would not be able to fight again anytime soon.
Suddenly, another wave of sand surged toward him, forcing Evan to duck his head quickly.
The sand and gravel buried him once more, and he used the last of his strength to cast a layer of protective magic on himself.
When Evan emerged from the sand again, he saw the huge body of God Horus slowly flying up.
His heart sank gradually. The magic just now had not harmed his opponent.
Just as Evan was thinking about what to do next, something unexpected happened…
