Harem Startup : The Demon Billionaire is on Vacation-Chapter 591: Fake Obedience
Chapter 591 – Fake Obedience
His throat bobbed as he swallowed. Then his lips parted.
He licked them.
Slowly.
Deliberately.
Oh yeah, they wanted to play? Lux would give the play they want.
He would seduce them.
The sound in the room changed. Or maybe just the air. Thicker now. Like someone had drawn the curtains on reality and dipped everything in something silkier, hotter.
Lux tilted his head. Eyes a little too wide. Mouth just slightly open. That same mouth that had earlier bit back complaints was now... inviting. Wet. Innocent. Dangerous.
He blinked up at them like he didn’t know what they were all staring at.
Like he wasn’t the one who shifted in the chair just enough to make the rope press against his thigh like a tease.
Like he wasn’t the one whose tongue flicked the corner of his mouth while he breathed out, "Mmm..."
Naomi choked on her soup.
Sira’s hand clenched on the water jug. "Don’t," she warned herself out loud. "You’re not falling for that."
Lullaby leaned in without hesitation. "He looks like a snack," she whispered dreamily.
"You mean dinner," Naomi muttered, dabbing her neck with a napkin. "That’s what we’re supposed to be giving him. Not... whatever this is."
Rava raised an eyebrow and slowly took a sip of the same soda, eyes locked on Lux. "Oh, it’s not just us," she murmured. "He’s doing this on purpose."
Lux tilted his head again, blinking innocently.
"Doing what?" he asked, voice soft. "I’m just being a good boy. Or you want me keep struggling?"
There it was.
That tone.
That perfect pitch of submissive danger that sent every one of them spiraling.
Because Lux wasn’t just a prince of Greed. He was trained in the art of seduction. Built for it. And right now? He wasn’t resisting.
He was playing the other game.
The one demons whispered about in lounges and bedrooms and broken thrones.
If life screws you? Screw it harder.
And Lux?
Lux decided to let himself break pretty.
"I’m listening," he said sweetly, tilting his chin up. The light caught his collarbones, the soft dip of his throat. He bit his bottom lip. "Tell me what to do, and I’ll be good."
Naomi made a strangled noise.
Sira looked away, muttering a curse in old demonic dialect.
Rava’s knuckles went white around the glass stem.
Even Lullaby was shifting in her seat like she wanted to climb into his lap and purr until the ropes snapped.
Lux smiled. Innocently. Devilishly. Like he didn’t know that his body was arching just right. That the way the satin wrapped his arms made his biceps flex faintly. That the low groan he let slip after another sip of that damn soda sounded like he was being edged, not refreshed.
The worst part?
He didn’t moan on purpose.
He just was.
Rava swallowed hard. Her thighs pressed together. She watched his Adam’s apple move when he drank again and couldn’t help the thought...
He looks like he was born to kneel.
Then Lux leaned forward, as far as the ropes allowed, and whispered, "I want another sip. I’ll behave."
The room was one breath away from turning into a crime scene.
Sira slammed her hand on the table.
"Okay, no. No, no. This isn’t fair," she growled, pacing now, her Pride boiling over. "I tied you up. You’re not allowed to turn this around. That’s cheating!"
Lux blinked. "What am I turning around?"
"You’re making us feral," Naomi snapped, cheeks bright pink now. "You’re acting like prey... deliberately. You don’t get to weaponize submission!"
"I’m just sitting here," Lux said, smiling like an angel who sold dirty dreams by the hour.
"You’re arching."
"I’m tied up."
"You’re moaning."
"I said the soda was good."
"You said it like you were coming!"
Lullaby clapped her hands. "That’s true, you really did."
Lux tilted his head again, breath brushing against his wrist as he brought it closer, licking the condensation off the skin like a thirsty pet.
"Wasn’t intentional," he murmured. "Maybe I’m just built this way."
Sira made a noise that sounded like she was chewing her own pride and losing.
"I swear to hell I’m going to gag him next time."
Rava finally moved.
She circled the table, slow and predatory now, placing her drink down and crouching beside his chair. One hand reached up, fingers cool against the ropes as she tested the knot Sira had made. It didn’t budge. Lux flinched slightly from her touch, but not in fear. It was that barely there shiver that sent fire licking under the skin.
"You’re playing a dangerous game," she said quietly. "Acting like a good boy. Looking like a treat. You think you’re safe because we started this. But Lux..."
Her lips brushed the shell of his ear.
"...some of us bite back."
His breath hitched.
And that sound?
That tiny reaction?
It hit all of them like a whip.
Naomi stood up, flustered. "I’m gonna go. I need air. Or a fan. Or to punch a wall."
Lullaby hugged Lux tighter, practically melting into his chest. "He smells really nice. Like temptation with extra sugar."
"Don’t fall asleep on him," Sira snapped.
"She’s purring," Rava said, amused.
"I know!"
Lux chuckled softly. It rumbled from his chest like dark honey.
Then, without warning, he leaned into Lullaby’s cheek and whispered, "You want to untie me, sweet thing?"
"Nope," she said instantly. "You’re too dangerous."
He smirked, mouth brushing her skin.
"Then maybe you should sit on my lap so I stay still."
Lullaby blinked slowly.
Then started climbing.
Naomi screeched. "LULLA—!"
Too late.
She was already curled up in his lap, eyes half-lidded, practically glowing.
"I’m the safety lock," she mumbled, clearly lying.
"You’re the problem," Rava said, pinching the bridge of her nose.
"I’m the pillow."
"You’re a hormone hazard."
Lux exhaled, satisfied.
He nuzzled Lullaby’s hair, gaze drifting to Sira, Naomi, and Rava one by one.
Then he whispered, "So who’s feeding dessert?"
And that... that was the final straw.
Because Sira lunged.
