Chapter 251: Confrontation

Third person POV

"How much longer is she going to take?" Aeris wondered with a dissatisfied tone. He had sent Jasmin to fetch Amber and was irritated at having to wait.

He wanted to perform the fusion right away; he was dying of curiosity about what the result of his experiment would be.

But while he waited, he could entertain himself by doing something else... His lips curved into a horrifying smile, and the servants around him felt a shiver.

"You," he turned to a half-cow girl with enormous breasts, "come accompany me in my room."

The woman felt a shiver of fear, but she couldn’t do anything; she knew that if she resisted, she would be killed by that man. He could simply open his app and undo the fusion, turning her into a corpse.

That was why no girl dared to try to escape or disobey. Not to mention, killing them was the least he would do in case of disobedience. He could torture them, force them to starve to death, or do even worse things.

However, it was at that moment that a loud sound echoed; Liam delivered a strong kick to the enormous iron door of the warehouse, destroying it completely.

Last time, he had invaded cautiously, but this time he would attack with everything he had. His body was stronger than ever, and he could feel all his muscles burning.

"Finish off this useless one," taking his eyes off the busty woman, Aeris said with a dissatisfied tone.

He was confident that Liam wouldn’t be any major threat. His slaves could capture him, and then he would punish the man in some way for interrupting him.

His app only worked on women, so Liam wouldn’t be very useful for experiments, but the man was sure he could find some use for his body.

However, what he expected didn’t happen. The monster girls specialized in combat even tried to surround him, but they were defeated one by one.

The truth was that none of them was willing to fight to the death, so they accepted defeat right after the first blow. And even if they gave it their all, Liam had truly superhuman strength at that moment.

"These useless ones, am I really going to have to handle this myself?" Frustrated, Aeris kicked the dog girl who was in front of him.

He figured his slaves weren’t motivated enough, so he would give them a little extra motivation.

"Capture this idiot right now, or I’ll kill this useless girl," He grabbed the dog girl by the hair, threw her to the ground with force, and stepped on her chest. "And then you’ll be forced to cut her into little pieces and eat her."

The man had grown accustomed to threatening his slaves with increasingly absurd punishments. And he had also noticed that they had formed a kind of sisterhood among themselves.

Because they were in such a bad situation, they took care of each other as best they could. Therefore, that was probably the best way to motivate them.

Seeing this, Liam didn’t think twice. Rage was a cold and cutting fuel in his chest. He advanced like a runaway train, his steps making dust fly from the warehouse floor while the air seemed to vibrate around him.

Aeris raised his voice, an authoritative shout trying to reorder the spreading chaos. "Finish off this useless one!"

None of the slaves reacted immediately, yet they had no choice but to try to stop him. However, Liam was too fast, dodging their blows and throwing them away, hurting the girls as little as possible.

Then, reaching his enemy, he landed a kick right in the center of Aeris’s chest, making him fly away and saving the dog girl.

"Are you okay?" Liam asked, his voice low and firm. She widened her eyes, confusion mixed with relief. A weak sob escaped, but she nodded. "I understand, get out of here quickly."

Obviously, the slaves noticed how Liam tried to help the girl. They felt relief seeing their friend saved. For a moment, their eyes shone with a small hope that Liam could defeat their tyrannical master.

Aeris regained his balance and, with eyes injected with rage, tried again to order his subjugated ones. "Kill him! Now!"

But none of the girls seemed willing to obey, and before he could complain more, Liam was already very close to him. Aeris sighed deeply, feeling profoundly irritated.

That said, he accepted that even if the girls tried to help, they probably had no chance against Liam.

"How useless," he complained. If only Jasmin were there, she was at least a little stronger. "I’m going to kill you!" Aeris shouted, staring at Liam, then he drew a knife from his waist and advanced toward Liam.

Aeris’s first strike was quick, a thrust aimed at the chest. Liam dodged with a twist of his torso, feeling the wind from the blade cut through the air where his body had been before.

In response, he counterattacked with a right hook aimed at Aeris’s ribs. The impact made Aeris stagger; the knife grazed, lost its center, and left a superficial mark on Liam’s shoulder.

Aeris spat blood from his mouth, while his eyes widened in shock, feeling pain for the first time since he gained his powers.

Even so, he just gripped the knife even tighter, advancing with even more aggressiveness. However, Liam managed to dodge easily; their strength was similar, but there was a big difference in combat experience.

He spun, escaping his opponent’s attack, and landed another precise blow to his stomach, making Aeris fly to the other side of the warehouse.

"This isn’t over yet," the man got up and shouted with his eyes burning with hatred.

"Of course it’s not over," Liam said as flames began to appear around his body. "I was just getting started."

Naturally, he wouldn’t let that man escape unpunished; before killing him, he would make Aeris suffer a lot of pain.
