Guide to tamming vilanesses-Chapter 74: Friendly duel
"Where did the two of you go?" Ange asked, annoyed when Ana and Shin finally reunited with them.
Ana had remade her makeup, and hopefully, the perfume she had splashed on herself would mask the smell of sex. She normally wouldn’t feel ashamed at all, but the girl had kind of agreed that they wouldn’t make a move on Shin, just small flirting.
After all, they would compete at the fair, and only the winner would have alone time with him. Well, with how long Shin and Ana had been away, they didn’t have a lot of time left before the fair would end.
"Anyway, you should come with me. Let’s compete in a sword duel," Ange said.
"Just you and me?" Ana asked, confused.
"Yes," Ange pushed Aiko forward, prompting her to speak.
"I... I wanted to go to the Ferris wheel with you while they are at it," Aiko suggested. "I actually won tickets for it, but I just got two," Aiko said, showing the tickets.
Aiko and Ange had actually participated in a quiz that the fair organized, and coming in second place, Aiko got the tickets. Ange, on the other hand, almost came in last, as she didn’t know anything about medieval stuff.
"Well, then let’s go..." Shin agreed.
"Yes!" Aiko agreed excitedly.
Meanwhile, Ange and Ana walked away, heading toward the section of the fair where visitors could have mock sword duels.
On their way, Ange explained to her cousin that Aiko had forfeited the competition. They wouldn’t have time for many games, so Aiko suggested she would accept no competition if she gained the right to go alone with Shin to the Ferris wheel.
So the sword duel would define who would get Shin for the night.
Luckily for them, there was no line. The fair was slowly reaching its end, and most of the crowd had already moved toward the main stage and the final attractions.
A small wooden arena had been set up, surrounded by a low fence. Several wooden swords rested on a rack nearby, along with padded protective gear.
An instructor wearing a leather vest greeted them as they approached.
"Two participants?" he asked.
"Yes," Ange replied immediately.
The man nodded and began explaining the rules.
"No strikes to the head. The first person to land three clean hits on the opponent’s torso wins. These swords are weighted but safe, so control your swings. Understood?"
Both girls nodded.
He handed them padded vests, arm guards, and light helmets. After making sure the gear was secured properly, he passed each of them a wooden sword.
Ana gave hers a playful swing through the air.
"Oh? This is actually heavier than I thought," she said with a small grin.
Ange rolled her shoulders, gripping her own sword more seriously.
"Don’t complain later when you lose."
Ana smirked. "I’m smaller, but between the two of us, I’m much better at sport than you."
They stepped into the arena. The instructor raised his hand.
"Ready?"
Both girls lifted their swords.
"Begin!"
Ange moved first, stepping forward with a quick horizontal strike. Ana leaned back just enough for the blade to whistle past her vest.
"So, my dear cousin, I’m really curious about one thing: why did you disappear for so long with Shin? I wonder if you were just stabbing us in the back and thanking him for yourself!" Ange complained as she attacked furiously.
Ange had a larger reach than Ana, so the small devil was having problems approaching. Still, she could defend the blow just fine. And it didn’t take long for her to find an opening.
Thwack.
Ana lightly tapped Ange’s side with the wooden sword.
"It was you who decided to leave us alone," Ana said, putting her tongue out. "And can you really blame me? He is too hot! When I saw that massive cock throbbing, I just couldn’t control myself."
"So you guys were really doing it, damn bitch!" Ange complained.
"Ahan! First hit!" The instructor called, trying to ignore their conversation.
Ange clicked her tongue. "I will get you next time. And I will get a date with Shin!"
"You can come at me. Give me everything you have," Ana teased. "Oh! And don’t worry, after I win, I’ll tell you all the details. Especially the naughty ones."
The instructor wasn’t sure what he should do, but he decided to just focus on doing his job as the judge.
Ange, on the other hand, was very annoyed by her cousin’s provocations. It was Ana who had made everyone agree to the rules, and then she broke them without hesitation.
She felt a mix of jealousy and a sense of betrayal that made her body burn with fury. Wanting to lash out, Ange attacked again, this time with more force. She swung downward, trying to overwhelm Ana with speed.
But Ana sidestepped smoothly.
"You don’t need to be so angry. We’ll all get our chance eventually," Ana said playfully.
"That is not the problem!" Ange roared, swinging her sword more aggressively. "I just hate when people lie to me like that! And I never expected you would be the one lying to me, cousin!"
For the first time, Ana understood she had really pissed off Ange. She stopped provoking her and grew more serious.
She defended another blow, and then with a quick counterattack, she landed a hit on Ange’s shoulder.
"Second hit!" the instructor said, stepping in between the two of them.
Receiving another hit and the interruption gave Ange a moment to cool off. She knew that if she didn’t fight better, she would lose.
"Blondie," Ana called with a serious tone before they could restart the fight. "I’m sorry for breaking your trust." She bowed slightly. "I didn’t expect you would care so much about that.
Ange stopped for a second. It was rare to hear Ana sound that serious, and it helped her calm down enough to think more clearly.
"Now isn’t the time for us to talk about it," Ange said after a moment. "If you really feel sorry, then you should let me win."
Ana smiled back.
"You know very well I’d never do that. I always compete with everything I’ve got."
"Fair enough."
The instructor, who had been silent, thinking that the conversation seemed important, finally signaled for them to resume.
This time, Ange didn’t rush in recklessly. She steadied her breathing and raised her sword more carefully, keeping a bit more distance between them.
Her reach was slightly longer than Ana’s, and she finally decided to properly use that to her advantage.
Seeing that her cousin was on the defensive, Ana stepped forward to attack, however...
Tap.
Ange’s blade touched Ana’s vest before she could even swing.
"Hit!" the instructor called.
Ange smirked a little, clearly pleased with herself.
"Oh? Look at that," Ana said, raising an eyebrow. "Someone’s learning."
They circled each other again.
Ana attacked next with a quick feint to the left before turning her swing toward Ange’s side.
Ange barely managed to block it, the wooden swords clacking loudly. She stepped back, then thrust forward again.
For a moment, it actually looked like she might win. Their swords clashed twice more, and Ange was able to keep good balance and swing a third time, landing another clean strike.
"Second hit!" the instructor announced. "The next hit for either of you will be the final one!" he added, wanting to build tension.
Ana let out a small whistle.
"Wow... now I’m actually in trouble."
Feeling more confident, Ange pressed forward, trying to secure the final hit. She swung again, aiming for Ana’s shoulder, but the small blonde girl was able to dodge the attack.
Then Ana surged forward in an instant, attacking aggressively.
Ana suddenly slipped past her guard.
Thump. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
Ange somehow managed to block at the last second, and the two of them collided, their momentum carrying them forward until they both tumbled to the ground.
"Foul," the instructor announced calmly. "Please stand up and return to your positions."
Ana clicked her tongue.
The final exchange came quickly. Ange tried to keep her distance again, but this time Ana moved faster, forcing her closer and disrupting her rhythm.
Their swords clashed once more.
Then Ana twisted her wrist and tapped Ange squarely on the chest.
"Third hit! Winner: Ana!"
Ange stumbled back a step in surprise, lost her balance, and ended up falling onto the ground with a soft thud.
For a second, she just stared at the sky above the arena. Her body was burning with frustration; both Ana and Ange hated losing.
Then Ana walked over and extended her hand with a playful grin.
"Need help, loser?"
Ange grabbed her hand and allowed herself to be pulled up.
"Don’t get cocky," she said, brushing some dust from her clothes. "And I still haven’t completely forgiven you yet."
Ana laughed softly. "Ok, ok, sorry, I promise I will make up for you later."
"You’d better do it."
