Greatest Legacy of the Magus Universe-Chapter 763: Growing Legend (Ko-fi Bonus - )
The city of Blackshore now lay in ruins.
The sun finally shone on this lawless city that once acted as the hub for cutthroats, thieves, and pirates.
As the streets of this city lay covered in blood, corpses, and rubble, a new power emerged.
Ravenfell!
After eradicating the Umbra Thieves that used this city as their stronghold, the forces of Ravenfell would go onto rebuild the city.
One day, in the future when all the reconstruction is completed, this city would be inaugurated as a subsidiary city of Ravenfell.
And its name… would be changed to Ravenshore.
While the forces of Ravenfell currently in the city celebrated their victory over the evil Magi of Umbra Thieves and the Cult of Bones, there were some who were consumed in grief.
Around the corpse of Brigham Flynn, the dozen or so Magi of the Flynn Family had gathered, incessantly sobbing.
The Flynn Patriarch was not just thier leader, but almost their father figure—someone whom they looked up to.
Yet, now his corpse lay cold, unmoving.
The Magi from the Flynn Family drowned in grief, yes. However, in the deep recesses of their hearts, anger and resentment bubbled up against their patriarch's killer.
Kissinger of the Umbra Thieves!
They learned that the culprit had escaped the city after murdering their patriarch and that Councilor Feno had chased after him.
However, until now, they received no response from the Councilor.
The Magi suddenly heard the sound of footsteps coming towards them. They turned in that direction with hopeful eyes, but their eyes dimmed when they realized it was Councilor Ranzenberg.
The old councilor of Ravenfell took slow and steady strides and arrived before the corpse of Brigham Flynn.
He deeply looked at his comrade's face before heaving a deep sigh. "Rest peacefully, old friend."
Hearing his words, the Magi of the Flynn Family couldn't hold it in any longer and started sobbing even louder.
One of them approached Daniel Ranzenberg with reddened eyes and softly asked, "My Lord, what about the other leader of the Umbra Thieves? The one named Wendell Cross."
Daniel turned to look at him and then silently nodded. Without uttering a word, he waved his hand, conjuring the corpse of the man from his storage artifact.
"I see…" said the Magus. "Then that leaves us with Kissinger only…"
Right at that moment, a gust of wind blew, followed by the sudden arrival of Nylian Feno.
"My Lord!"
"Lord Feno!"
The Magi of the Flynn Family gathered around the elven councilor, hoping to hear good news.
However, Nylian looked each of them in the eye and shook his head apologetically, "Kissinger got away."
Hearing those words, the Magi from the Flynn Family felt as if they had been submerged in an ocean of cold water.
Learning that their patriarch's murderer was still on the loose caused them to be overwhelmed by negative emotions. They felt lost. They felt helpless.
But Nylian assured them, "I promise you all. Brigham's death will not be in vain. We will find Kissinger. We will find him and kill him!"
All the Magi of the Ravenfell forces had now gathered together, mourning the loss of one of its councilors.
But despite being so heavily outmatched and outnumbered in this battle, to begin with, the fact that they had only lost one Rank 3 Magus and clutched the victory could be considered a miracle.
And all the credit for that goes to one person and one person only.
Suddenly, every Magus gathered heard the sound of wings flapping. They simultaneously turned their heads in the direction of the sky.
There they saw a dark figure flapping its wings and descending towards them.
A few moments later, when they realized who this person was, their eyes lit up with excitement.
Especially the Magi from the Black Legion!
Raidon's eyes turned bloodshot from all the anticipation bubbling in his heart. He took a deep breath and roared at his fellow Magi from the legion. "Men!"
"HOO-AAH!!" The Magi struck their chest with their fists.
"Welcome your Lord Commander!" Raidon continued in a loud and animated voice.
"HOO-AAH!!"
"The youngest Mana Vortex Magus in the history of this world!"
"HOO-AAH!!"
"The Dark King, Adam Constantine!!!" Raidon spread his arms wide and roared to the skies as Valerian finally landed before them.
The Magus of the Dark Legion formed two lines, welcoming their Lord Commander.
"HOO-AAH!!"
"HOO-AAH!!"
"HOO-AAH!!"
"HOO-AAH!!"
Their cheers and their fists thumping their armors combined together and caused a sound so loud that it caused the ground to tremble ever so slightly.
Adam leaped off of Valerian's back and walked toward the other two councilors. His back was straight like an arrow, and his chin was raised at a slight angle as he calmly took long and confident strides.
With every enemy he killed, his confidence grew.
And so did his legend!
Arriving before the two counilors, Adam waved his hand and conjured the torn-off arm and the storage pouch of Malcolm Morgan.
"That is all that remains of him," he said in a low voice.
Seeing the remains of the last cultist, all the Magi burst into cheers—even the Magi from the Flynn Family.
But the Magi from the Black Legion screamed the loudest. They now knew that although their Lord Commander had only just advanced to the Mana Vortex Rank, he had already killed three Mana Vortex Magi today!
"Dark King!"
"Dark King!"
"Dark King!"
"Dark King!"
Their voices grew so loud that they could be heard miles away from the city! In the end, Adam had to raise his hand and calm his men down.
He walked towards the corpse of the Flynn Patriarch, his eyes slowly starting to tear up. He heaved a long sigh and knelt beside the corpse.
"Lord Flynn," he softly muttered.
He paused for several moments as if thinking of the right words to say. He clenched his fists and solemnly proclaimed, "I will avenge you. I promise."
The Magi from the Flynn Patriarch roared in fury. They deeply resonated with Adam's words.
And so, from loss came renewal.
Ravenfell lost a Rank 3 - Mana Vortex Magus, but it gained another.
Adam was the youngest person in the world to have become a Rank 3 Magus. This elevated not only his status as a once-in-a-lifetime genius, but also Ravenfell who nurtured such a prodigous talent.
The raven-haired youth's exploits in the Blackshore Event would spread far and wide in the days to come.
This would be proactively done by Ravenfell not just to elevate Adam's status in the Acadian Empire, but to also let those hiding in the dark and baring thier fangs know…
That there is now a powerful Magus in Ravenfell.
A Magus so powerful that he was able to defeat three Rank 3 Magui on the same day that he advanced to Rank 3 himself!

A Magus so powerful that people gave him the moniker of King.
The Dark King!
Soon, the name Adam Constantine would echo through every corner of the Ulier Continent, revered as an example of a splendid Magus for generations to come.
From this moment on, his legend would ascend to heights never before imagined.
…
Around the same time the Ravenfell forces secured their victory in the Blackshore Incident, a small group of Magi arrived in the Southern Federation.
They had come all the way from the Europa Continent!
In the outskirts of Behal Town, this group of Magi, wearing hooded robes, made their way through field of crops, towards the oak tree in the distance.
The hooded figure at the forefront led the group on the meandering path through the sea of golden wheat crops, until at last they reached the two grave markers beneath the oak tree's shade.
She stood in silence before the grave for a very long time, then bent down and gently placed a bouquet of red flowers at their base.
Turning towards the north, she lowered her hood. Her bright red hair cascaded down her shoulders like a waterfall, revealing a strikingly beautiful face and piercing crimson eyes.
A brilliant smile bloomed across her lips as she whispered, "My dearest Adam, I've kept my promise. I have returned."
She paused for a moment, her eyes flashing with reminiscence, before adding softly, "And I hope you've kept yours… and become a splendid Magus."
