Godly Revival System: I Buy My Killer's Stats-Chapter 146: [Mass Release 4/8] Lightning Ape Mountain
After two hours of riding the Wind Panther, Ethan and Shadow Bee had reached a specific location which felt like a completely different world filled with lightning.
'Rumble'
Thunder rumbled in the sky, a deafening roar that shook the very air.
Streaks of golden lightning flashed wildly, tearing through the darkness like furious beasts, their blinding arcs splitting the sky apart.
'Crack!'
Another bolt struck a nearby boulder, shattering it instantly.
"I can tell that this is a perfect environment for the Lightning Apes; however, where are they?"
Looking at the surroundings that were filled with lightning flashes but no Lightning Apes, Ethan could not help but ask Shadow Bee about it.
"We still need to enter deeper into these lightning-filled mountains."
Shadow Bee smiled and brought Ethan deeper into the mountain. Occasionally, one or two lightning bolts would strike around him.
"Drez, are you sure these Lightning Bolts won't land on us?"
Although Ethan was not worried about death, he was a bit afraid of these Lightning Bolts that might strike at any moment.
The uncertainty of the Lightning Strikes was the issue. So, he asked Shadow Bee about it.
"Don't worry. They won't land on any living creatures…at least not these Lightning Bolts."
Shadow Bee replied in a calm tone.
The deeper they went, the more concentrated the Lightning Bolts became, and it was complete chaos.
At the heart of this chaos stood a towering mountain of jagged rocks, half-hidden beneath a veil of flickering lightning.
"We can't go any further. If you don't have an affinity with the Lightning Element, you will be continuously attacked by these Lightning Bolts."
Suddenly, Shadow Bee stopped Ethan as he explained why they couldn't go any further.
"However, the good news is, we have reached the Lightning Apes' Lair."
Pointing at the huge mountain in front of them, Shadow Bee showed Ethan the Lightning Apes' Lair.
On the craggy surface of the huge mountain, countless caves and tunnels stretched in every direction, each one a den for the powerful Lightning Apes.
Each cave and tunnel had a natural barrier where violent arcs of lightning surged across the path, striking down anything foolish enough to step in unprepared.
"Are you telling me, these tunnels are the home to the Lightning Apes?"
Ethan raised his brows as he asked, "If we can't enter, are we going to lure them out of their tunnels and caves?"
Since Shadow Bee had already captured a batch of Lightning Apes before, Ethan knew he had ways to lure them.

"I have multiple ways, but let's go with the most basic one."
Shadow Bee smiled as though he was waiting for Ethan to ask that question, and in the next second, he called, "Little Lightning, why don't you call your friends out of their caves?"
'Swiish'
In the next second, a small white-and-purple-haired Lightning Ape appeared in front of Shadow Bee.
"Krikk! Krikk!"
Hearing Shadow Bee's words, the Little Lightning Ape excitedly released static lightning arcs all over its body and rushed towards one of the caves.
'Another special beast. I wonder exactly how many Special Beasts he has in his Beast Heaven Orb?'
Although Ethan already guessed that, thanks to the Beast Heaven Orb, Shadow Bee had lots of Spirit Beasts under his control, the small Lightning Ape he just summoned was not a regular Lightning Ape but a Special One.
So, Ethan wondered how many Special Beasts Shadow Bee had.
"There are nearly 100 caves, and each tunnel has around 100 Lightning Apes."
On the other hand, Shadow Bee explained to Ethan before slowly revealing a portion of his master plan, "The goal is simple. My Little Lightning will lure the Lightning Apes from one tunnel after another. By the end of the day, we have to purify all the Lightning Apes in this Lightning Ape Mountain. It is the first step of my master plan."
"Since there are 100 Lightning Apes in each tunnel, it means there are around 10,000 Lightning Apes in this mountain. Interesting!"
Ethan was surprised by the number of Lightning Apes living in each tunnel; however, it only made him excited about all the Life Points he could gain.
"Are you ready to purify?"
"Are you ready to subdue them?"
Both asked at the same time and smiled in response as they were both more than ready.
"Zzt-zzt-reeeh!"
Just as they exchanged grins, a sharp, crackling cry echoed from within the tunnel that the Little Lightning Ape had entered earlier.
"The signal is here."
It was the signal that the Little Lightning Ape had succeeded in its task of luring the Lightning Apes from that particular tunnel.
The small Lightning Ape had done its job.
'Rumble!'
"KRAAAAH!"
Soon, thunder roared above as the ground trembled beneath them, and at the same time, a deep, powerful roar blasted through the tunnel entrance.
A little white-and-purple-colored silhouette emerged, followed by a horde of flickering figures—nearly a thousand Lightning Apes, their bodies sparking with golden arcs of electricity.
Their eyes glowed with bloodlust, but there was something else—a restlessness, a tension, as if they were prisoners finally given a chance to lash out.
Leading the charge was a massive Rank 4 Lightning Ape, its towering frame covered in surging bolts of lightning.
Behind it, around 300 Rank 3 Lightning Apes followed closely, their movements erratic, their bodies radiating volatile energy.
The horde of Lightning Apes didn't end with 300 Rank 3 Berserk Lightning Apes. Behind them, nearly 1,000 Rank 2 Lightning Apes with bloodthirsty eyes rushed forward in a chaotic wave, their excited crackles filling the air.
"Looks like our little friend did a good job."
Ethan gave a thumbs up to the Little Lightning Ape that successfully lured the horde of Lightning Apes out of the tunnel.
"It is the most intelligent Spirit Beast I have."
Shadow Bee nodded as he asked Ethan, "Kai, let's go out of these lightning-filled mountains. Within this region, these Lightning Apes are almost invincible."
'Swiish'
After saying that, Shadow Bee quickly sent the small Lightning Ape back into the Beast Heaven Orb before rushing out of those mountains showered with Lightning Strikes.
By now, that horde of Lightning Apes had already seen Shadow Bee and Ethan and had made them their new prey that needed to be killed at any cost.
"This is a perfect place to subdue them all."
Once they were out of their disadvantageous terrain, Shadow Bee turned around and without any hesitation, he shouted, "Come out and let's bring them back home."
'Swiish'
'Swiish'
With a thought, Shadow Bee summoned more than 200 Lightning Apes, one of them being Rank 4 and the remaining ones being Rank 3.
"GRROOO-KAAAH-ZZRAA!"
"RRRRAAH-KZZT!"
Hearing Shadow Bee's command, the 200 Lightning Apes let out ferocious roars and charged straight toward the incoming 1,000 Berserk Lightning Apes.
'As expected, he's planning to use the Lightning Apes to subdue the Berserk ones.'
Ethan wasn't surprised by Shadow Bee's strategy, but he knew one thing—the normal Lightning Apes were at a disadvantage.
Even if their numbers were equal, it wouldn't be a fair fight. And right now, they were outnumbered five to one.
'Let's see what kind of cultivation techniques he has.'
Nevertheless, Ethan didn't have any plans to help because he obviously believed in Shadow Bee.
"Blitz, it is your time to shine. Take out all the Rank 2 Lightning Apes."
As Ethan expected, soon, Ethan heard Shadow Bee order someone named 'Blitz' and in the next second, hundreds of Rank 2 Azure Killer Bees flew out of Shadow Bee's body.
'This…he was hiding such a powerful trump card all along.'
