Chapter 54: Chapter 54 Mage and Warrior Clones Combo

"Focus on whittling down his Barrier!" Ren’s voice boomed across the battlefield, filled with the raw intensity of command.

"Affirmative!" his warriors replied in unison, their voices ringing out with determination. They were ready. They had to be.

With synchronized precision, they dashed toward the Lich Overlord. Some leapt into the air, closing the distance quickly, while others focused on direct confrontation. Their goal was clear, to shatter the Lich’s barrier before the dreaded Disintegration spell could be unleashed again. They had time now, but none of them knew how long that window would last. The Disintegration spell required a long cooldown, but they couldn’t afford to wait too long.

Now was their chance. They had weathered the initial blast and survived, their own barriers regenerating to full strength. Ren could sense it, their defenses were strong once more, and with the clones he had summoned, they were ready to strike with overwhelming force. He had confidence now; the time had come for his clones to do their part.

"Make your move!" he commanded. "One by one, everyone must contribute to breaking his barrier!"

Ren’s voice rang with authority as he led the charge. "Everyone! Combo your attacks! Mages and warriors, combine your strength!" He roared, determination clear in his tone.

"Aye!" the warriors shouted back, rallying with fierce resolve.

The battle unfolded in a flurry of motion. The Swordsmen dashed forward, blades drawn, their eyes locked on the Lich. The Teleporters moved swiftly, their bodies flickering as they teleported into positions to assist.

"[Teleport]!"

In an instant, the Swordsmen appeared directly in front of the Lich, their swords flashing with deadly precision. Each strike was swift and calculated, their movements faster than human eyes could follow. The [Acceleration] skill was activated, boosting their speed to unimaginable levels. The Lich’s barrier was assaulted from all sides as the Swordsmen slashed relentlessly, chipping away at its strength.

The Lich, sensing the growing pressure, retaliated immediately.

"[Shockwave]!"

A shockwave of raw energy erupted from the Lich’s form, sending the Swordsmen flying backward, their bodies crashing to the ground in violent rolls. They scrambled to regain their footing, but the damage was done. They had created an opening.

The Support mages wasted no time, casting a series of buffs on the Elementalist to enhance his power.

"[Greater Mana Regeneration]"

"[Multicasting]"

"[Greater Magic Damage]"

"[Magical Barrier Penetration]"

"[Greater Cooldown Reduction]"

"[Instant Casting]"

"[Lesser Mana Consumption]"

With the buffs stacking, the Elementalist’s power surged. His eyes gleamed with ferocity as he felt the surge of magic coursing through his veins. A confident smirk appeared on his face as he prepared to unleash a devastating spell.

"[Quantiple Elemental Bolt]!"

Four elements, Lightning, Ice, Fire, and Earth. Spiraled toward the Lich in a deadly arc. The impact was brutal. Each bolt struck with the force of a thunderstorm, sending shockwaves through the battlefield. The Lich staggered, his form rocked by the onslaught, but the barrier held strong.....at least for now.

But the battle was far from over.

Without hesitation, the Priest moved forward, casting [Body Enhancement] on the Berserkers. The Berserkers, now enhanced, surged toward the Lich with a bloodthirsty roar. Their massive weapons swung in unison, hacking at the Lich’s barrier with brutal force. The impact caused cracks to appear, but still, the Lich’s defense held firm.

The Berserkers grunted in frustration, stepping back only to launch another wave of attacks. Their swords cut through the air with deadly precision, their strikes aimed at the Lich’s side. But the Lich only laughed, a mocking, hollow sound.

"You can’t beat my barrier! Hahaha! Come with all you’ve got! You can’t harm me!" the Lich jeered.

The Conjurer, seeing the growing frustration, cast [Weak Cloning]. He summoned clones of the Staff Masters, Brawlers, and Offensive Knights. Two clones for each warrior, each one a mirror image of the original.

The clones, guided by their masters, immediately began their assault. The Brawlers punched with brutal force, their gauntlets smashing against the Lich’s side, back, and face. Each blow caused a slight crack in the barrier, but it wasn’t enough to break through. Another layer of the barrier was destroyed, but the Lich’s defense remained.

The Staff Masters swung their weapons with power, rotating their staffs before smashing them into the Lich. Meanwhile, the Offensive Knights moved with deadly grace, their swords cutting through the air in sharp, calculated arcs. Together, the nine of them—three originals and six clones—attacked with everything they had. The Lich’s barrier began to waver, but it didn’t break.

The Telepath clone attempted a [Mind Break], but the Lich’s mind was impervious. Still, the clones were relentless. The Telekinetic clone stepped forward, his powers at the ready.

"[Reverse Gravity]!"

The Lich rose from the ground, the earth beneath him lifting along with him. The Telekinetic clone smirked as he prepared the next move.

"[Crumpling Gravity]!"

The Lich was crushed downward with overwhelming force, the very earth beneath him folding like paper. The Lich groaned in pain, his barrier shuddering under the pressure. Yet, still, it did not break.

The Conjurer, not to be outdone, summoned [Hundred Swords]. The ground beneath them erupted as hundreds of blades, varying in shape and size, shot upward, impaling the earth. The Telekinetic clone immediately seized control of the swords, sending them spiraling toward the Lich in a deadly dance.

"Together! Everyone, attack now!" Ren’s voice rang through the chaos.

For the first time, the Lich’s eyes widened in fear. It was a feeling long forgotten, a sensation from the time when he was still human, before the darkness had consumed him. He had been arrogant, overconfident, but now, surrounded by clones from all sides, the tide had turned. The Lich was overwhelmed.

"[Soul Disintegration]!"

"[Hell Fire]!"

"[Corroding Breath]!"

The Lich unleashed his most powerful attacks, but the clones stood their ground, their barriers regenerating as fast as they were struck. They laughed, unfazed by the Lich’s efforts.

"Hmm? Did you forget our Clones regenerate their barriers?" Rein’s clones taunted.

The Lich could feel his power fading, his once indomitable barrier weakening with each passing second. His mind raced in panic. "The barrier won’t hold long! What should I do?" His thoughts were clouded with confusion and fear. He had been losing ground, and the clones were relentless.

The Lich’s once unshakable confidence faltered as the combined assault continued. The clones’ attacks were wearing him down, layer by layer. The Lich’s barrier, already cracked in several places, was about to break completely.

Crack!

Crack!

CRACK!!!

The sound of the barrier shattering echoed across the battlefield. In an instant, the last layer of the Lich’s defense was gone.

Rein stepped forward, his eyes glowing with an eerie, whitish light. He stood tall, his presence commanding the battlefield. With a calm, deliberate motion, he cracked his knuckles.

The Lich’s face twisted in horror. "Noooo!" he howled, his voice filled with despair. His soul recoiled in fear. It was too late.

Ren smirked, his confidence radiating. "This ends now."

With a single command, Ren’s voice cold and final, he activated his most devastating ability.

"[Catastrophic Gluttonous Devourer]!"

[Affirmative]

The battlefield was silent for a heartbeat.

Then came the rupture. A black vortex tore through the space, ripping it where the Undead Lich once floated. Ren stood at its center, his right hand outstretched, glowing with an ominous, devouring darkness. His newest skill [Catastrophic Gluttonous Devourer] was in full effect.

The Lich screamed, its distorted voice howling across the ruined land. Necrotic tendrils lashed out in desperation, tearing apart what remained of the nearby forest. The ground cracked, the sky trembled, and even the lingering souls of the undead trembled at the sheer force of the absorption.

"Struggle all you want," Ren muttered, eyes burning with resolve. "You’re doomed."

The vortex expanded, consuming the darkness, the dark mists, and the shattered corpses scattered from the battle. The Lich resisted with every ounce of its might. Chaos erupted, swirling violently as the two wills clashed. For a brief moment, the Lich’s soul pushed back, refusing to be dominated. But Rein’s strength, bolstered by countless battles, refined through evolution after evolution, could not be trampled easily.

With a final scream that echoed into the Soul Realm itself, the Lich was pulled into Ren’s palm, its power sealed within a glowing black sphere.

Then, silence.

The clouds slowly parted, revealing a crimson-tinted sun. The Undead Army had collapsed completely. No more generals. No more cursed mana. Only the victorious remained.

Ren staggered slightly. His mana was dangerously low. His vision blurred for a moment, but he straightened his back and raised his hand high.

"We have won!" he declared.

The army around him erupted in a roar. Mimics clang their weapons, slimes bounced wildly, mages and warriors cheered with exhausted voices. It had been a brutal war, but they had won the battle.
