Chapter 49: Chapter 49: Journey of Conquest, Demon Beast Army

In the video, the first ten minutes of footage were all focused on the York Marsh Territory.

It showed everything from the arrival of the Truth Church’s Missionary to the Resident Missionary’s final words to York, supposedly from an elder.

This immediately put York on high alert.

He deduced from this that the Resident Missionary was definitely not a simple character.

He and his wife, Lucia, speculated that the missionary must possess some kind of Magic Item that could block perception. Otherwise, this veiled "warning" of his would be tantamount to playing with fire.

This gave York a tremendous sense of crisis, which led to his subsequent declaration of a Deity’s existence to his Knight’s Squires.

The final scene even showed seven Knight’s Squires completing a blood infusion ceremony on a stone Magic Array that Lucia had personally overseen.

This so-called blood infusion ceremony was actually more like a Blood Exchange ritual!

During the ritual, the video clearly showed Magic Beast Heart Blood being introduced into the Knight’s Squires’ bodies, slowly seeping in through their skin.

Meanwhile, threads of the Knight’s Squires’ own blood were drawn out from their backs.

One can only imagine how painful the process must have been.

But whenever a Knight’s Squire showed signs of distress during the Blood Exchange, Lucia would immediately take out the Healing Potions Lince had previously bestowed and have them drink.

The effect was simply miraculous!

All seven Knight’s Squires successfully completed the Blood Exchange.

Furthermore, all of them officially entered Entry Tier, becoming Extraordinary Beings!!!

One could imagine how much their loyalty to the Swamp Territory must have soared at that moment!

And how deep their faith in the so-called God of Radiant Light must have become!

It is incredibly difficult for an ordinary person without a Bloodline to reach Entry Tier!

But once they do, it’s a whole new world!

Their status and position would change dramatically.

A Tier One Extraordinary Human, free from illness and disaster, could easily live to be one hundred years old.

And the limit for the Low Tiers, a Tier Three human, was a lifespan of one hundred and fifty years!

Although this was much shorter than long-lived species like Demon Beasts and Elves, it was still quite impressive for the Human Race!

"God of Radiant Light?"

Lince watched the scene of York proclaiming his existence and felt a little helpless.

Still, it couldn’t be helped.

’After all, I never declared an official divine title for myself.’ 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

Besides, York had been forced into it.

At this stage, he not only faced the danger of a potential secret investigation from the Truth Church, but he had also learned of the Duke’s Mansion’s convoy arriving in the Korola Highlands.

An envoy from the Duke’s Mansion had even sent a formal notice to the Swamp Territory.

This meant the convoy from the Duke’s Mansion would soon arrive and station itself in the Swamp Territory.

Ostensibly, the reason was to let the younger generation of the Old Lion Family train in the Wilderness, but who knew their true intentions?

If the old Duke had a mind to investigate, he would surely uncover just as much information as the Truth Church.

Therefore, to strengthen the Swamp Territory’s defenses, York had no choice but to immediately promote the faith of ’Lince’!

He looked at the Inference Day date displayed in the upper-right corner of the video.

Day ninety-eight.

’Have so many grim situations already appeared in the Swamp Territory in just three months?’

Lince frowned.

However, he then remembered that since his inference had completed, the Swamp Territory must have made it through safely.

So, he patiently continued watching.

Just then, after the scene with York finished playing, the screen instantly switched to the Rock Steel Giant!

——————

Inference Day, one.

The Rock Steel Giant opened its majestic eyes and immediately used the power of its contract to issue a command to the Unihorned Demon Bear at the foot of the Demon Beast Mountain Range!

The Rock Steel Giant ordered the Unihorned Demon Bear to follow the contract’s guidance and come see it in the Swamp Territory!

Inference Day, three.

The Rock Steel Giant arrived in the Forest Wolves’ territory. The Unihorned Demon Bear was already there, having gathered with the Forest Wolf pack along with its entire family.

There, the Rock Steel Giant issued its command!

It commanded the Unihorned Demon Bear to take half of the Forest Wolf pack and advance west of the Swamp Territory, subjugating all Lord Level Low Tier Magical Beasts along the way! The subjugated Demon Beasts were to remain in their territories as they were. Those who refused to submit would die!

Furthermore, all harvested Low Tier Magic Crystals and Demon Cores were to be brought back to a designated location in the Swamp Territory by the Forest Wolves.

Inference Day, fifteen.

The Rock Steel Giant flew low over the Wilderness, while below in the forest, a horde of Demon Beasts rapidly followed, crossing through every territory.

Inference Day, thirty-eight.

The Rock Steel Giant was now followed by two Entry Tier avian Demon Beasts.

One was a Spear-tailed Grey Eagle, the other an Illusory Butterfly Bird.

They soared through the sky after the Rock Steel Giant, pursuing a pig-like Demon Beast that was fleeing in a panic.

Finally, with a wretched scream, the pig-like Demon Beast was instantly torn to shreds by the three Entry Tier Demon Beasts that had it surrounded.

The Spear-tailed Grey Eagle then swooped down, ignoring the other three Entry Tier Demon Beasts as it snatched the pig-like Demon Beast’s heart and Demon Core. It then flew back into the sky, presenting them to the Rock Steel Giant as if offering a treasure.

The Rock Steel Giant watched the grey eagle calmly, giving only a slight nod of its dragon head.

The grey eagle, as if having received an order, immediately flew off into the distance.

Inference Day, one hundred twenty-nine.

Finally! On this day, the Rock Steel Giant emerged from the forest! It had reached the borderlands where the eastern forest of the Wilderness met the grasslands.

At that moment, the Rock Steel Giant landed on a cliff overlooking the grasslands.

It stood alone, its gaze cold and serene.

Against the vast expanse of sky and land, upon the boundless grasslands, its form was immense. Yet, viewed from high above, it still appeared minuscule.

But the Rock Steel Giant was no ’lone Hero’!

For just moments after it landed on that high cliff overlooking the grasslands, eighteen Entry Tier Flying Demon Beasts of various types flew up from behind it, crying out sharply.

They called out in low voices and landed one by one behind the Rock Steel Giant.

At the same time, down below the cliff, the once-quiet forest suddenly erupted with a great commotion and a chorus of roars!

Fifty-three Entry Tier Demon Beasts of various kinds were the first to charge out of the forest, stopping at the border between the dense woods and the open grasslands.

Simultaneously, more than ten thousand pack-dwelling Tierless Demon Beasts began to emerge from all along the forest-grassland border, stepping forward at their own varied paces!

Swarms of snakes, packs of wolves, leaps of leopards, herds of boars, droves of cattle...

A dense, teeming mass of over ten thousand Demon Beasts stopped right at this ’border line’ between the forest and the grasslands!

At this moment, these hordes of Demon Beasts gazed greedily at the grasslands before them.

However, thanks to the roars from the Entry Tier Lord Demon Beasts of each group, all the beasts quieted down.

Then, led by their Entry Tier masters, the entire horde of Demon Beasts turned to look at the Rock Steel Giant on the cliff’s peak, their eyes filled with both longing and awe.

Yet, facing the longing gazes of such a massive army, the Rock Steel Giant’s expression remained indifferent and calm.

The Rock Steel Giant gazed down at the vast, open grasslands, then looked beyond them toward the Outer Mountains of the Demon Beast Mountain Range, which stretched on for an unknown distance. Finally, it launched itself back into the sky.

"ROAR!!!"

The Rock Steel Giant’s terrifying Dragon Might carried a single command on the powerful soundwave.

It ordered all the Lord Level Demon Beasts to lead their respective clans back into the forest!

And so, even though the eyes of many of the Lord Level Entry Tier Demon Beasts among the ten thousand-plus horde showed disappointment and reluctance, they ultimately chose to obey the command and lead their clans back into the forest.

More than ten thousand Demon Beasts obeying the command of the Rock Steel Giant—it was a truly stunning sight.

But that wasn’t all.

Because to the west of the Swamp Territory, the Unihorned Demon Bear was still continuing its journey of conquest through the endless primeval jungle.

Once the Rock Steel Giant passed through from the east and made those Demon Beasts submit and bow in reverence, the general situation would be settled.
