Getting spoiled in a woman dominating world-Chapter 74: Studying...
Chapter 74: Studying...
Later in the afternoon, after classes had ended, Eira pulled Brandon toward the academy library.
The library was a massive, multi-story building lined with towering bookshelves filled with old texts and digital archives.
Students were scattered around, some buried in books while others worked on holographic terminals.
They found a secluded corner near a large window, where sunlight spilled onto a wooden table.
Eira placed a thick textbook down with a soft thud and pulled out her tablet.
"Alright," she began, flipping open the book.
"We’re going to start with Ether Theory Basics. You need to understand the flow of ether, how it’s classified, and... are you even listening?"
Brandon, who had been lazily propping his chin on his hand, gave her a nod "Of course. Ether, flow, classifications. Got it."
Eira narrowed her eyes before reaching over and flicking his forehead. "Pay attention."
Brandon chuckled, rubbing the spot she hit. "Alright, alright."
Just as Eira was about to start explaining, a new voice chimed in. "Ah, is this a study date? And you didn’t invite me?"
Both of them turned to see Elena standing there, sipping on a cold drink.
Smiling, she pulled out a chair and sat down beside them.
Elena blinked in surprise "Elena? What are you doing here?"
"What else? Learning, of course. But now that I see you two, I feel like this is an opportunity I can’t miss."
Elena leaned forward, resting her chin on her hands "So, Brandon, how bad are you at theory?"
Brandon let out a sigh and replied "Imagine someone who has never studied a single page of ether theory in his life. Then lower your expectations."
Elena let out a laugh. "Oh, you are fucked up."
Eira narrowed her eyes at Elena for a moment before sighing "You. Read this paragraph. Now."
Brandon groaned and slumped forward. "Alright."
He picked up the book and started reading, albeit lazily, while Eira listened attentively, occasionally correcting him.
Every now and then, Brandon would throw in a teasing remark... leaning in too close when Eira was explaining something or pretending not to understand just to make her repeat herself.
Each time, Eira would get flustered and her explanations would falter slightly before she regained her composure.
Despite the teasing, as the afternoon wore on, Brandon actually started to understand some of the concepts.
Eira, despite her flustered moments, was an excellent tutor, and Elena occasionally chipped in with her own insights.
By the time they wrapped up, the sun was setting outside the library window, painting the sky in hues of gold and violet.
Brandon stretched his hands lazily, and he had to accept that the topics were more interesting than he expected.
He looked at them and spoke "Thanks Eira and Elena."
With a smile, Elena patted his shoulder "No problem, Brand. I actually got to review some stuff myself, so this wasn’t a waste of time."
Eira let out a small sigh and adjusted the books in front of her. "You still have a lot more to learn. This was just the basics."
Standing up, Eira reached out for a first bump and Brandon quickly reciprocated the gesture by fist bumping her.
With a grin, she waved her hand "See you later, Brand. Bye, Bye... Oh wait."
She stopped and took out her mobile waving it in front of him "Gimme your contact info, Brand."
"Oh, sure."
Taking her phone, he quickly entered his number and saved it under his name before handing it back to her.
She glanced at the screen, nodded in satisfaction, and then gave him a final wave "Then see you later, Brand."
Eira looked at him and spoke "That’s it for today... we can continue tomorrow."
As she stood up, he grabbed her waist and pulled her, making her sit on his lap.
Eh? She blinked and he gently grabbed her thigh, positioning her perfectly in his lap sideways, looking at him.
"Where are you going? I didn’t get to kiss you today..."
With that, he leaned forward and closed the distance before taking her lips in a tender kiss.
The moment their lips met, she sighed before closing her eyes and leaning forward into the kiss.
Brandon’s grip on her waist tightened slightly and he pulled her closer.
She raised her hands, clutching the fabric of his shirt as she lost herself in the kiss.
He squeezed her thigh as his fingers gently traced under her skirt, reaching her inner thigh.
A soft moan slipped past her lips before she could stop it.
She gently parted her lips as he pushed in his tongue and entangled their tongues.
His grip on her waist firmed, pulling her even closer until there was barely any space left between them.
Eira felt her whole body flush with warmth as a mix of embarrassment and exhilaration flooded her senses.
The way he kisses her... the way he touches her... it made her feel cherished, and she was completely caught in his orbit.
As they slowly pulled back from the kiss a thin strand of saliva connected their lips as both of them took soft breaths, looking at each other.
Eira’s eyes softened and she leaned forward pecking his lips gently before murmuring "Idiot..."
Brandon let out a quiet chuckle as his arms instinctively tightened around her waist. "You keep calling me that,"
She hummed in response and let herself melt into him, her body settling comfortably against his as she rested her head on his shoulder.
A few moments passed in comfortable silence before she finally murmured, "Are you free this weekend?"
Brandon raised an eyebrow at her unexpected question, tilting his head slightly to get a better look at her face.
Eira hesitated for a second, then slowly lifted her gaze to meet his eyes.
Her cheeks were painted with a soft blush and her long lashes fluttered slightly as she looked into his eyes.
"Maybe..." she started, her voice hesitant...
"We can go out sometime... alone."
Brandon blinked, but then his gaze softened.
She looked so incredibly adorable right now—shy yet determined, with her fingers fidgeting slightly as if nervous about his response.
Smiling, he pressed a kiss on her forehead "Well, this weekend, I’m busy..."
The moment those words left his mouth, he felt her body stiffen slightly in his embrace.
"Oh..." Her gaze lowered and her fingers tightened their grip on his shirt as disappointment flickered across her face.
Brandon almost chuckled at how easy she was to read.
Before she could fully retreat into her thoughts, he gently tilted her chin up, forcing her to meet his eyes again. "But..." he continued, his thumb brushing lightly over her cheek,
"... On Monday. We can go out for the night."
Eira’s eyes widened slightly "Monday...?"
"Mhm," he hummed and saw the disappointment in her expression melt into something softer...
She lowered her gaze for a moment, as if processing his words, before a small smile curled at the corners of her lips.
"Good," she whispered before leaning in and burying her face in the crook of his neck. "You idiot."
Brandon let out an amused sigh and rested his chin against the top of her head as he held her closer.
A bit later, Eira finally slipped down from his lap and smoothened her skirt before looking at him.
Eira noticed his teasing gaze, but instead of getting angry at him, she just shook her head as an exasperated yet affectionate smile bloomed on her lips.
’Idiot...’
Adjusting the strap of her bag over her shoulder, she took a step back and spoke softly, "Then... see you tomorrow, Brandon."
Brandon gaze softened in affection "Mhm."
She stood there for a moment longer, stealing one final glance at him before finally turning around and walking toward the exit of the grand library.
Brandon sat there for a few seconds as he watched her disappear beyond the tall shelves.
After a moment, he stood up, stretching his arms behind his head before finally making his way toward the entrance.
As he stepped outside into the cool hallway, someone patted his back.
"That was a good show."
Hm? Brandon turned his head and looked at Elena who had a teasing smile on her face.
-_- Brandon gave her a black stare "Don’t tell me..."
Elena’s grin widened. "Oh, but I will tell you."
She waggled her eyebrows. "You and Eira... all cozy, whispering sweet nothings to each other, getting all touchy in the library...."
Brandon’s eye twitched in frustrationand he reached out, gripping her ear "How many times, have I told you not to peek with your skill?"
As he twisted her ear, Elena winced in pain but still laughed "Ack—!"
"No, it was fun to watch both of you being so romantic..."
Brandon sighed and retracted his hand before giving her a strong, no-nonsense bonk on the head.
"Ow!" Elena pouted, rubbing the top of her head.
"Stop doing that," he scolded.
She just grinned. "But, man... doing it in a library, huh? You sure are bold, Brand."
Placing a hand on her chest she spoke dramatically "Whispers between bookshelves, secret touches under the desk..."
"What’s next? Kissing under the moonlight on the academy rooftop?"
Brandon gave her another bonk.
"Ow—okay, okay, I’ll stop,"
She laughed, shaking her head "Haa, I should’ve recorded that. I could sell it to the girls in class for a fortune."
Brandon held the urge to punch her face "You wouldn’t dare."
Elena’s smile widened "Wouldn’t I?"
For a moment, they just stared at each other.
Then, in the next moment, brandon moved forward to catch her-
"ACK—!" Elena barely dodged, her laughter echoing through the hallway as she bolted ahead.
"Get back here."
"Not a chance, Lover Boy!"
"Elena..."
"Haha."
The librarian looked at both of them and spoke in a stern tone "Silence."
Brandon and Elena stopped in their tracks and slowly turned their heads to look at the librarian.
"Um."
"Sorry."
