Getting a Sugar Mommy in Cultivation World!!-Chapter 521: Top 8
"Die!!!"
"What—" Before the woman could react, she saw her opponent wave his hands in the air. A huge blood-red claw materialized before slamming down towards her, threatening to cleave her in half.
The reason she was confident facing him before was the sword in her hand—a peak tier 4 treasure sword! Besides, she thought that if things got really tough, she could just give up.
But now…
Seeing the blood claw, she tried to block with her sword, but she realized how naive she had been.
Crack!!!
Cracks started to appear all over her sword before it broke into pieces. With nothing to stop its path, the claw mercilessly dropped down on the woman.
"Arghh!!!!" The shrill cries of agony filled the domain as the woman was cleaved into several pieces by the claw’s fingers.

"…."
Gasps of shock echoed throughout the arena, followed by a deadly silence. The brutal death of the woman left a deep impact on the audience.
"How cruel!!"
"Why did she have to die?"
"Even though killing was not against the rules, did he have to be so ruthless?"
Feeling a chill in their hearts upon witnessing the woman’s death, the crowd started whispering among themselves.
Even when Long Xiang teleported outside the realm, no one cheered for his victory. Even the participants on the stage looked at the boy with scared looks on their faces while making way for him.
Seeing them, Long Xiang snorted before returning to his position.
"I am a little surprised that you all got to see the first death of the competition." Just when the atmosphere started to become tense, the host spoke up with a disappointed sigh.
"I wanted it to be kept a secret for a longer time, but it looks like I cannot."
The crowd showed their confusion upon hearing his words, but soon their confusion changed to shock.
"Whaa—"
"Is that? No way!!"
The cleaved body of the dead woman on the screen started to get absorbed into the bones of the stage. Soon, a white streak of light appeared on the stage.
"What? *gasp!* Didn’t I die?" The light dispersed as the same woman who died at Long Xiang’s hand appeared unharmed. She hugged her own body in fear and confusion.
She could still vividly feel her body tearing, the gnawing feeling on her skin feeling surreal.
"You died, that is the truth!" Hearing the familiar voice that she used to find annoying snapped the woman out of her daze.
"To be precise, what died was a piece of your soul." The host explained with a bored look on his face. "This domain is special not just for its unique appearance but also for its ’rules.’"
"Once teleported inside the domain, it’s your soul that is drawn into a temporary body. Don’t think too much; you won’t be able to understand even if I explain it to you."
"Just be grateful you are alive and also make sure to find something to recover your soul, or your cultivation might be affected. It was only a strand of your soul, or you would have become a vegetative person."
The woman shivered at the thought of becoming a crippled person—it was worse than dying in their world!
She wanted to glare at ’her killer,’ but when she saw the cold killing intent in Long Xiang’s eyes, she felt her soul tremble in fear.
Fortunately, his gaze was directed at the commentator, or she might have pissed herself.
"Hmm~ Are you disappointed?" As if feeling his chilling gaze, the host grinned at Long Xiang with a provocative smile. "You really wanted to kill someone?"
The crowd hissed at the host; they were already aware of his personality by now and knew that he was a person who got pleasure from others’ suffering.
The crowd was a little relieved to see the woman alive, but the next words from the host scared some of them.
"Don’t worry; if both sides agree, we can make the duel a death match~" Long Xiang’s killing intent disappeared upon hearing those words, and a feral grin graced his face.
"Looks like you like what you hear." The host covered his face before chuckling, "but, you know~"
Suddenly, the atmosphere changed, wiping the smirk off Long Xiang’s face.
"Don’t ever direct your killing intent at me, you trash!" Hearing the chilling voice from behind him, Long Xiang froze in fear. Even his body refused to listen to him as he saw the man disappearing and reappearing beside him.
’This guy is definitely not someone in the Core Formation realm!!!’ This revelation scared him to the core.
Smack!
"Well, there is that~" The host suddenly appeared back in his previous place and clapped his hands to catch everyone’s attention.
Gulp!
Everyone swallowed their nervousness; they could not keep up with his personality and decided to keep watching silently.
"Now, onto the next match!"
While the match continued, some eyes did not move from Long Xiang.
"This guy is weird…"
"Old Hong, aren’t you worrying too much? Even if there is something wrong with him, we have many people to deal with him."
The head of the Hong family did not reply but looked at the stage with a worried look in his eyes. He could not help but feel that something was wrong.
It was not just him—the head of the Zhong family also felt the same but chose to keep quiet about it. Even though the match continued the atmosphere remained tense, with the audience still shaken from the previous fight.
One by one the lower ranks among top 30 started to solidify.

The sound of metal clashing echoed through the domain as the two fighters exchanged blows. Soon that match also came to an end.
In a short while all the ranks besides the top 8 were decided!
"I am glad to announce that we have final entered the final phase of the battle! 6 more battles before our finalist face off against each other!!"
The host, with a charismatic smile, raised his hand to quiet the audience. "These next six battles will determine who among our elite fighters will face off in the ultimate showdown. The stakes are higher, the competition fiercer. Let’s see who has what it takes to rise to the top!"
Following his words, the stage below the top 8 participants raised as if to show their superiority over the rest. Everyone cheered for these participants.
The names of the screen shifted as all the first four matches were allocated..

"Next match, Sun Feng and Zhong Hua!"
The crowd cheered or the veiled woman as she made her way to the stage once more. The difference between the two of them was not much despite their rankings.
"Please guide me Daoist Zhong!" Sun Feng, a cheery looking man holding a blue sword smiled at Zhong Hua. His polite nature caught Zhong Hua off guard but she still returned the greeting.
"Begin!"
Smack!
"Fire whirlwind Dance!" Zhong Hua shouted while spinning in her opponent’s direction. Her whip also moved along with her body while burning with fiery flames.
