Galaxy Fall: All My Skills Are Maxed-Chapter 111: The Princess?!!!
"Yakima, why are you here? Shouldn’t you be overseeing your guild?" Lady Gaga asked with a slight frown, attempting to maintain the authority of an elder. However, just standing before Yakima was giving her immense, suffocating pressure.
’This girl... She isn’t even consciously emanating any spirit energy; it’s like her very cellular structure is passively radiating this absolute power entirely on its own... Is that level of integration even possible?’ She stared intently at Yakima’s pupil-less eyes, searching for a flaw in her aura.
’She is also not actively using the Soul Eyes! Have I simply gotten too old?’ Gaga thought, a rare sliver of doubt piercing her usual abrasive confidence.
"Sorry for coming unexpectedly... But I am here to ask for help," Yakima said. Her voice was surprisingly soft, calm, and light—completely opposite from the booming, tyrannical presence everyone had constructed in their minds.
"Huh?"
"....?!!"
The two elders, and even the elite students gathered in the courtyard, were dumbfounded. The sheer dissonance between her reputation as the White Calamity and her polite request for assistance shattered the tension.
"She is here for... Help?" Rose muttered, deeply confused. She knew her elder sister better than most; Yakima would never lower her head to ask for help unless the situation was unimaginably critical, possibly threatening the empire’s foundation itself.
Without another word, she ran towards them, her anxiety overriding academy decorum.
"Help? I genuinely don’t understand," Merlot said in surprise, rubbing his beard, not expecting one of the supreme pillars of the Dragon Empire to publicly ask for help, especially not the fiercely independent Leader of the Dragon Tooth Guild.
"I know... This is all incredibly sudden, but—"
"Sister!" 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
"Huh?" Yakima turned her head smoothly to the voice, the motion devoid of any wasted energy, seeing Rose running towards her across the stone tiles.
"Rose?" she muttered, a slight, almost imperceptible frown breaking her placid expression.
"Sorry for interrupting..." Rose stopped abruptly before the gathering of titans, slightly out of breath. "I don’t know what kind of help you need, but I want to help!" she yelled, her youthful determination flaring, desperate to finally stand on equal footing with her legendary sibling.
"No," Yakima answered flatly, her single word dropping like a lead weight, completely stunning Rose into silence.
"You are far too weak. I don’t need your assistance," Yakima added, her tone not cruel, but brutally objective. She then turned her gaze back to the two elders, dismissing her sister entirely.
’She... Why... Why hasn’t she ever acknowledged me?’ Rose thought, her heart sinking, the familiar, suffocating shadow of her sister’s genius instantly crushing her previously high spirits. Her mood dropped dramatically, her fists clenching at her sides.
"Please, the courtyard is too noisy. Is Lord Hayatobi inside his quarters?" Yakima asked, her white eyes sweeping over the two elders, seeking the only man whose power could suppress her own.
"No, he is currently out on a special training session with his personal students," Merlot answered, watching Yakima’s reaction closely.
’What? Dad actually took on personal students, and not just one?’ Yakima was genuinely surprised by this deviation from their father’s usual solitary nature, but she hid it perfectly behind her serene mask.
"Ok, let’s go inside then. And please, use the emergency communication runes in the galaxy bracelet to reach out to him and tell him I am here with the Princess... This is a matter of utmost importance," she said, her voice dropping a fraction of an octave, hinting at the severity of the crisis.
"Princess?"
Now everyone in the vicinity was truly dumbfounded. As if pulled by an invisible string, they all subconsciously turned their heads back to the imposing black carriage.
The heavy door creaked, and a breathtakingly beautiful lady with long, flowing golden-brown hair and warm, luminous orange eyes stepped down onto the cobblestones. She was draped in a luxurious, flowing white and gold robe that completely covered her body and arms, leaving only her radiant face visible to the masses.
"Wait, am I actually staring at the Imperial Princess right now?" Carl muttered in complete disbelief, his instincts failing him in the presence of true royalty.
"Wow! She is ethereally beautiful!!" Philip added, his eyes glowing with unrestrained awe.
"I can’t even process it, her skin is practically glowing with pure spirit energy... And her ambient spirit energy, it’s so impossibly pure, it feels like sunlight," Daniel muttered, shielding his eyes slightly.
"Greetings, Your Highness, Imperial Princess Delphine," the two elders and Rose quickly greeted in unison, bowing their heads deeply in a display of absolute respect.
Carl leaned back slightly, whispering to the Draconian heir before him. "I have a serious question, Sir Austin. Is this princess also a combat monster like Yakima? I mean, structurally, how powerful is she?" Carl asked, staring at Austin for any tactical insight.
"For making it to the ten selected, I will answer this." Austin said, his gaze fixed on the princess:
"That is the deeply strange part of the Royal Family’s history. From the very beginning of her life, the Princess hasn’t raised her hand to fight a single duel. As the eldest child of the royal family, she hasn’t stained her hands with a single drop of blood. She is treated like a holy angel walking in a fragile mortal body," he explained in a hushed tone, then looked over his shoulder at Carl and the other stunned students, his expression grim.
"But that absolutely does not mean she is weak... Because right now, passively, she is a Lv250 entity... Her specific class and bloodline traits are completely classified by the Crown, so no one outside the Emperor’s inner circle knows about her true capabilities," he added, the mystery only deepening her intimidating presence.
"Lv250. She is practically a demigod," Carl swallowed hard, the sheer scale of the power disparity making his mouth dry.
’I foolishly thought those of us in the elite academy program were already the monsters in this empire. I had absolutely no idea there were literal leviathans swimming above us,’ Carl thought, slowly raising his head to stare at the clear sky above the courtyard.
’If this is the Dragon Empire’s standard... Then what about the other two empires? What sort of world-ending monsters do they have hidden away in their capitals?’ He exhaled a long, shaky breath, the reality of the upcoming Glory Flag competition crashing down on him. He clenched his fists tight, his knuckles turning white.
’I must get stronger... No matter what Galaxy Fall throws at me, nothing will stop my ascent!!’ he yelled internally, his resolve hardening into steel.
"Seeing the Imperial Princess here personally shows this is a matter of empire-shaking importance. Ok then, please, let’s go inside to the secure chambers... I will immediately bypass protocol and reach out to Lord Hayatobi," Lady Gaga said, her usual gruff demeanor replaced by utmost professionalism as she made way for the two royal figures to walk ahead into the main hall.
The Princess paused on the grand stone steps, the hem of her robe brushing the ground. She turned her head slowly to the side, her warm orange eyes staring directly at Rose, who was still looking down at her boots.
"You must be Rose," she said softly, her voice carrying the soothing resonance of a healing spell, causing Rose to immediately look up at her in utter surprise.
"Yeah. You look just like your sister in the structure of your face. She actually told me quite a lot about your magical potential." Delphine smiled warmly, a genuine expression that melted the tension in the air.
"It’s a true pleasure meeting you."
With that gracious parting word, she turned and walked towards the heavy, reinforced oak doors of the academy headquarters. Yakima and the two bewildered elders followed closely behind her, the heavy doors shutting behind them, leaving a completely dumbfounded Rose standing alone in the courtyard.
’My cold, untouchable sister... actually spoke about me?’ Rose thought, her mind spinning in total confusion as the gears of her understanding ground to a halt.
’And... she spoke about me to the Imperial Princess?’ The implications of that simple statement began to rewrite everything she thought she knew about her family dynamic.
