Chapter 315: Chapter 254: Where is the Saint Heir?

Leaving aside the fact that Sang Luo had no intention of finding a new Beast Husband, even if she wanted to advance by bearing a child, she would never want to be abducted and forced into it—compelled to bear a child for some strange male she had never even met!

’I won’t let them have their way!’

Her spiritual power could only reach the edge of this cathedral-like palace before it was blocked by another, more powerful and unfathomable force, unable to extend any further... Sang Luo then tried to use her Space Jumping Talent Power, but she couldn’t return to the East Continent. Forget leaving this world; she couldn’t even leave this palace!

Her initial panic slowly gave way to calm. Sang Luo used her spiritual power to investigate the appearances, attire, and conversations of the various Beastmen within the palace. After half a day, she had a vague idea of her current situation.

She had been brought to a world beyond the Beast World Continent: the Holy Domain, to the Holy Hall.

’No wonder I can’t get out.’

Sang Luo lay on the bed, curled into a ball, her thoughts slowly drifting away...

"GROWL~"

’I’m hungry.’

She sighed and got out of bed.

The food on the table was already cold, but she wasn’t in the mood to fuss over such minor details. She ate a little just to fill her stomach. The food was light, but it tasted quite good. There was also a platter of sliced fruit. She took a bite and her eyes lit up—it was a rare Saint Rank Spirit Fruit.

’They serve Saint Rank Spirit Fruit with a casual meal? I have to admit, this Holy Hall is quite generous.’

Since she wasn’t pregnant, these potent tonics were almost too much for her system to handle. But not wanting to waste them, she forced herself to eat them anyway. They were still very nourishing for her body.

She rubbed her full stomach, let out a burp, and decided to go for a walk to aid her digestion and further investigate her surroundings.

She had just opened the door, but before she could step out, two male guards in white, hooded robes blocked her path.

"The noble female cannot leave this place."

Sang Luo clicked her tongue, suppressed her irritation, and forced a smile. "I just want to take a walk."

"Our orders are to protect the noble female’s safety. Please, rest well."

’Heh. What kind of "protection" is this?’

’This is just imprisonment in disguise!’

Sang Luo lowered her gaze, looking at the two with a pitiful, innocent expression. Her almond-shaped eyes seemed to well up with tears. "It’s so boring in the palace. If you make me stay here all by myself, I’d rather just run my head into a pillar and die!"

"Aren’t you supposed to be protecting me? Are you just going to watch me die of boredom?"

"If I die, it’ll be a dereliction of your duty!"

Her silver tongue left them speechless. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

"This..." The two guards were at a loss for words. Being looked at with such a pitiful, wronged expression by a beautiful female—they were normal males, how could their hearts not soften?

Seeing one of the guards waver, Sang Luo’s eyes narrowed slightly. A seductive, bewitching smile played on her lips as she reached out a soft, slender finger and lightly traced it over his firm chest. "I can’t get out of here anyway, so what’s there to worry about, right?"

"N-Noble female, please don’t do that!" The guard took a step back. Although the brim of his hood hid his face, she could still faintly see his reddened cheeks. He lowered his head, not daring to look at her.

After hesitating for two seconds, he spoke stiffly, "If the noble female truly wishes to take a walk, I can accompany you to ensure your safety."

’Isn’t this just to keep an eye on me every second, in case I try to run?’

"Oh, that’s wonderful! You can be the one to accompany me," Sang Luo said, feigning delight.

"It would be my honor."

The guard followed behind her, step for step. He didn’t get too close, always maintaining a distance of several meters to ensure she remained under his supervision.

They didn’t walk far before the guard said, "Noble female, we should return to the palace now."

"Alright." Sang Luo didn’t resist at all, obediently returning with him.

After eating a little more, she went to sleep.

The next day, after finishing breakfast, she again requested to go for a walk.

This time, the two guards didn’t try to stop her. The same guard as before accompanied her out.

They wandered for a little longer this time before the guard reminded her at an opportune moment, "We should return to the palace."

Sang Luo nodded and went back with him again.

Every day after her meals, she would go out for a walk to aid her digestion.

After a few days, the two guards grew accustomed to her routine. Sometimes, they would ask if she wanted to go out before she even had to say anything.

Sang Luo, for her part, remained completely obedient from start to finish, showing no signs of any intention to escape.

The two of them gradually let their guard down.

The time they allowed her to be out also grew longer and longer.

One day, Sang Luo wandered into a rose garden. A Beastman came over and said a few words to the guard. It seemed to be about some other important matter, and the guard glanced at her hesitantly.

Sang Luo sat down on a small stone bench in the shade of a tree and offered him a soft, gentle smile. "Ilodi, you go take care of your business. I’ll just sit here for a bit and wait for you to come back."

Over the past few days, she had managed to learn their names. The gentle, more easily flustered, and easier-to-manipulate guard was named Ilodi. The other, colder and more aloof one, was named Habier.

Ilodi nodded and left.

Half an hour later, he rushed back to find Sang Luo gone. His heart seized with panic, thinking she had secretly run away. He spread a pair of wings and soared into the air to search, only to find that she had already returned to the palace. She shot him a glance that was both resentful and bewitching. "Where did you go? I waited for you for so long. The sun outside was too harsh, so I came back first."

"My apologies, noble female." Ilodi lowered his head, sighing in relief.

Sang Luo’s gaze fell on the white wings behind him. "You’re an Angel, too?"

"I am a Mixed Blood Angel. I only have one-quarter Angel Bloodline and was fortunate enough to inherit their legacy," Ilodi answered honestly.

Sang Luo nodded. She had figured it out long ago. These two guards specifically assigned to watch her weren’t just low-ranking guards in the Holy Hall; they had to be at least guard captains.

To keep a female of her level—Initial Emperor Realm—under control, they would need at least two males of the same realm.

A hundred thoughts raced through Sang Luo’s mind, but then her eyes were dazzled by the pure white wings. She reached out, wanting to touch them. "Such beautiful wings. May I touch them?"

Ilodi took a step back. "Noble female, please conduct yourself with dignity."

With his head bowed, she could imagine his face was completely red.

Sang Luo didn’t succeed that time, but afterward, whenever she got the chance, she would try to touch his Angel wings. She didn’t spare the other guard, Habier, who was also a Mixed Blood Angel, teasing him from time to time.

She was the female the Saint Heir had requested by name. If they actually let her touch them, they would be charged with the crime of defiling a Holy Female, a crime they could not afford to bear.

Eventually, the two of them learned to keep their distance the moment they saw her. Sometimes, when she pressed them too hard, they would practically flee in disarray.

After a while, whenever Sang Luo wanted to go for a walk, the two of them no longer followed her.

She also made a point of returning on her own accord every day, which made the two of them relax completely and stop restricting her movements.

And so, Sang Luo had finally managed to gain a sliver of freedom within the Holy Hall.

Every time she went out, she studied the architecture of the Holy Palace, searching for an escape route.

"Here’s tonight’s dinner. Hurry up and eat."

Vanessa served the meal.

The food was cold, the portions were half of what she’d received on the first day, and the Holy Fruit had been replaced with ordinary fruit that had little to no Spiritual Energy.

Sang Luo had known all along that Vanessa had been gradually skimping on her food portions these past few days. The Holy Fruit had long since ended up in Vanessa’s own stomach.

Sang Luo showed no reaction. After finishing her meal, she asked,

"Where is the Saint Heir? Seven days have passed, and I still haven’t seen him."
