Chapter 177: Team SuperNova (2)

The person in the black and red jumpsuit posing in the center raised his hand as a signal before a cool, deep voice sounded out for the intro.

"I’m like~, some kind of supernova, watch out."

As the electro bass of the music filled the area, the boy in the middle switched poses as the other contestants made their hands like arrows to point at him.

"Look at me go."

Zooooooom~

The boy in the red and black jumpsuit pretended to drive a car as the other 6 boys lined up behind him in one clean motion.

As the stage light reflected off his suit, the red lines seemed to glow with an almost evil, red light.

"Hotter than y’all"

The cool, deep voice sounded once more as the people previously hidden behind the boy in the red and black jumpsuit jumped out and fanned their hands like flames as he fanned himself.

Zooooooom~

"Like the sun’s core,

So hot hot

Hot hot hot hot"

With a slick slide forward, a tall, slender figure in a black and orange jumpsuit and helmet replaced the boy in the black and red jumpsuit at the center of the formation and began rapping in a slightly muffled, rushed tone.

"You can’t cool down.

I cause sparks to fly around me."

"I bring the heat,

You can’t stop me, I’m all you see."

The boy in orange performed a fast-paced spin, causing the orange lines on his jumpsuit to blur together and glow like fire before he stopped, and the entire group interlocked their hands and looked to the left and right in quick unison.

"Drop!"

All the boys dropped to the floor in unison, with the boy in the orange and black jumpsuit sliding backwards with his arms while the boy in the yellow and black suit jumped forward and began rapping in a crisp British accent that came off slightly muffled as well.

Still, each word was enunciated playfully, as if he were joking around with the listener.

"When I come, you all stare ah oh ay

I’m a star, can’t compare ah oh ay."

Despite his tall, leanly muscled frame, the owner playfully bounced around while dancing, clearly feeling himself.

"That tick that tick tick bomb"

Moving in slow motion, the boy in yellow raised his fist while pretending to punch to the side, causing the boys on his left to pretend to fly away.

"That tick that tick tick bomb"

Switching arms, the same ticking punch was repeated toward his right, causing the same reaction as the contestants pretended to fly back.

He then pointed upwards before making a crown with his hands and placing it on his head, the light hitting the yellow lines on his fingers, making it shine like gold.

"Even if my reign is short, I’m on top, yeah~"

"I’m brighter than your sun,

Su su su Supernova"

Then after pointing to the audience, he crossed his arms were and stood in a cocky manner as all the contestants copied the same pose before he shifted to the side for the contestant with the red coloring on is jumpsuit to replace him in the center, and began singing the chorus in a clear, unobstructed voice.

"Nova,

Can’t stop, hyperstellar,

Brighter than any other,

Bring the light of a dying star,

Gonna blind all the haters now, so watch out,

Supernova"

Ziiiiiiiipppppppppppp

Zoooooooooooooooom~

As the 7 boys danced to the chorus, they moved until they were arranged in rainbow order from red to violet.

The electronic zooming sound rang out before an ’oof’ was heard, and then somebody began singing.

"Bo~dy bang bang bang bang bang bang bang!"

As the voice sounded out, the seven boys on stage wearing helmets began falling like dominoes as a bright pink dart suddenly appeared at the center of their helmets.

"What the-?

"Gasp!"

Shocked, the audience looked to the side to see a boy wearing an all-black jumpsuit that clung to his lean body, jumping onto the almost 6-foot-tall stage in one graceful movement with a hot pink toy gun in one hand and a handheld microphone in the other.

Unlike the other boys with sleek helmets that matched their jumpsuits, he had an oversized black motorcycle helmet with a white star drawn on one side of the visor and red Joker-like lips drawn into a smile where his mouth would be.

To be honest, he looked like the villain who just took out a bunch of heroes.

"Gotta take them out."

With the hand holding the microphone gripping the bottom of the helmet and lifting it slightly so that a pale, pointy chin with red lips was exposed.

A slightly raspy yet alluring voice rang out while the owner stalked to the center of the collapsed boys, casually spinning a bright pink toy gun on one finger and pretending to blow out the smoke, before carelessly flicking it off to the side in a slick motion.

"Why is he aura farming right now?" Luis commented while Antonio nodded enthusiastically before adding.

"Plus 1000 aura."

"Shut up, Antonio." Gabriella hissed, unable to look away from the stage.

Without any doubt, that was clearly Ari, and she had to admit that Antonio was right.

He looked super cool right now.

Gabriella continued watching, her eyes unable to leave Ari as he used the same pointer finger that had been spinning the toy gun around to point at the crowd in a sweeping motion as if he were speaking to them.

"Right now, they probably feel they’re so special,

My light had dimmed, so they really thought they had hope,"

The boys who had been playing dead on the ground threw aside the darts on their helmets and began to rise with each flick of Ari’s hand,

Each boy continued to dance around him as he sang, giving off the appearance of fireworks in the night sky with him as the central focal point.

Then the boy with the green and black jumpsuit pivoted to the center, both arms raised in the air as his pure, clear voice rang out and held the high note for several seconds.

"They really thought that the pressure caused an explosion,

They didn’t know I had them under my control~"

It was her brother singing!

Gabriella could recognize that voice anyway, and it was the same for Antonio and Luis, who cheered loudly.

She found herself wishing that Carlos had removed his helmet so she could hear that beautiful voice without the helmet muffling it, but even with that, she found her brother’s voice amazing.

He was truly singing and dancing and didn’t look out of place compared to the other boys on stage.

If she didn’t know what he wore beforehand, she would have had a hard time picking him out of the lineup until she heard his voice.

In fact, he looked better than some of them!

And all of a sudden, Gabriella became a bit sad, wishing that the rest of her family was here to see Carlos on stage.

Resolving herself to at least take a good video so that she could show them how well her brother was doing, she gripped her phone with two hands to hold it steady and focused on the stage that was still happening.
