Forever Destined to the Silver Shadow-Chapter 211: My lovely predator
Theo’s POV:
Celestia kept on kissing my collarbone even when I cried out for help. Since she is a predator now, my cries don’t really matter to her.
All she wanted now was only one thing—and it was to quench her bloodlust. She paused for a moment and glared at the vein on my neck for a second.
Then she moved her lips closer to my neck and tried to sink her sharp fangs in my neck. I instinctively moved away from her—as I couldn’t let my silver blood spill out.
But she didn’t seem like letting me go! If we both were alone, then I would not have hesitated to give her my blood. She can feed as much as she wants from me, but if my silver blood spills on the floor, then I would be exposed.
"Holy Aiden, please help me....." I cried again. "I don’t want to die...."
Then it was time for Samuel to get into the scene. "Somebody please save my son from the predator...."
Samuel then ran to Oberon, who was standing frozen on the stage, and shouted, "Your Highness, please save my son’s life. I am begging you... Only you can stop the predator—"
But Oberon was so dazed that he wasn’t even reacting to anything. He must be embarrassed to his core!
The loyal slave Edwin was the one to step forward. He came near us and said," Celestia, please try to control yourself! Come back to the normal form—"
What an idiot he is? A predator can’t hear anything when it is thirsty for blood. This is like fighting a fiery manticore just with a dagger!
Somehow I managed to free myself from Celestia’s grip and got up from the pew. My love let out a growl while I was running to the stage.
Then I hid behind the petrified Archbishop and cried out, "Your Grace, please save my life....."
The Archbishop turned white like the cassock that he was wearing. Celestia soon got on the stage and glared at me. She wanted me so much now!
I was using the Archbishop as a shield to save myself from my lovely predator. Samuel then came to the spot and clasped his hands together next to the Archbishop.
"Please do something, Your Grace! I can’t watch my own son get hurt—"
When Celestia got closer to the three of us, the scared Archbishop raised his flask and threw away the Holy oil on her face.
Her already oil-soaked face got more greasy. She stood still for a moment and wiped out the oil from her face.
"Your Grace," Samuel shouted. "Holy oil is not enough to stop the predator. She only needs blood! Please do something else—"
The little action of the Archbishop instigated the anger of my lovely predator even more. She frowned at him and shouted, "How dare you try to attack me?"
The Archbishop immediately ran away from the spot and cried out, "May the Holy Aiden save us all—"
Now there was no one to stop Celestia! She growled again and bared her fangs at me. Surprisingly, even now, I wasn’t scared of her. I just wanted her even more.
Then my lovely predator raged at me and pinned me to the wall that had the paintings of the Sun God Holy Aiden on it.
Her pupils got dilated again while she was about to pierce my neck. Why didn’t I think of this before? My strategy involved only instigating Celestia—but not to quench her thirst.
At that moment, I wasn’t able to come up with a strategy that didn’t involve me getting exposed. I hope that Samuel does something before my blood gets spilled out.
Her greasy hair brushed my face as she stood on her tiptoes and nibbled the skin on my neck a little. Just before she was about to bite me, Edwin came to the scene and shouted at my lovely predator.
"Celestia, step away from him now! I have what you want—"
Edwin was carrying a large goblet that was filled with blood. I struggled to figure out how he managed to get this goblet full of blood in such a short time.
But I appreciated the wit of this loyal slave. Only blood can quench the thirst of a Vampire!
I was a little disappointed when Celestia moved away from me and grabbed the goblet from Edwin’s hand. I could have offered her my blood—but for the sake of my cover, I didn’t.
My lovely predator started to sip the scarlet liquid greedily. I know what thirst feels like. When I was down in the abyss, one of my quests included crossing the bridge of fire.
It took me almost two days to cross the bridge of fire, and the main challenge was that there was no water around.
I could have died that day! Somehow I crossed the bridge and reached the chasm of water after two days. The water from the chasm tasted like life to me. Just like that, Celestia was getting her life back by emptying the goblet of scarlet liquid.
The look on Oberon’s face was priceless now. He was shocked and embarrassed at the same time. He might be cursing Celestia in his mind.
What he doesn’t realize is that he is the reason why Celestia has become this creature. He made this happen to her—so now he doesn’t get to blame my love.
Once Celestia was done, she dropped the goblet down on the ground and wiped her lips with her hands. Celestia’s elegant golden gown was now drenched in scarlet blood. Now she smelled like Cedarwood and also like blood.
It took her a while to realize what she had done. She looked at Oberon first, who was giving her furious glares. Then she turned to the stunned crowd. Celestia started to panic. I wanted to hold her hand and comfort her—but I didn’t.
My eyes scanned the ground and searched for the golden orb that had the moonstone hidden in it. Celestia had dropped it right on this stage before she raged towards me.
But now, the orb was missing. Where did it go?
