Forever Destined to the Silver Shadow-Chapter 164: Pervert in the Island.
Theo’s POV:
I was so eager to see the pervert who had trespassed into the Selene Kingdom. This has happened many times before. A lot of men arrive here as they think that this land is filled with beautiful girls.
But they don’t realize that these beautiful girls are also tough as nails. Whatever! I want to look at the pervert’s face before Cynthia orders the girls to behead him and throw his body in the sea.
The pervert was lying face flat on the seashore sand. The Siren girls surrounded him completely, and they hurled sea pebbles at him.
"Please spare me! I am a friend of the Silver Shadow," the pervert cried out.
What? He has the nerve to taint my name by saying that I am his friend? Who is this guy?
I strode near to the pervert and crouched on the sand beside him. The pervert was wearing a lilac-colored robe and armor. Is he from the Highlands?
I grabbed his long brown hair and lifted his head up from the sand. His pale face and brown hair were covered in sand as he had his head pressed on the shore. Still, I was able to recognize who he was.
I raised my hands and shouted at the girls, "Everybody stop hurling pebbles at him."
The girls were stunned by my instruction. Ivory frowned at me and asked," Are you seriously defending a pervert?"
"No! He is definitely not a pervert."
Cynthia then stepped forward and asked me suspiciously, "Theo, do you know who he is?"
"Yes, I do! He is my old friend Samuel. He is now the Perspicacious Fae Lord in Oberon’s court."
After that, all the Siren girls dropped the pebbles on the ground. Samuel dusted away the sand from his hair and face. Once he was done, he bowed his head slightly and said," Your majesty, thank you for rescuing me!"
Did he just address me like a King? In the past, he used to call me by my name. Or is he mocking me?
He saw the confused look on my face and understood what I was thinking. "Your majesty, you know that I am the Perspicacious Fae, and I have the potential to see the future. I am addressing you like a King because you are going to be the ruler of the Celestial Realm in the future!"
My mind was utterly dazed as I heard what he said. Is he telling the truth or messing with me? It is highly possible that he could be messing with me too!
Samuel is now a Fae Lord in lame King Oberon’s court. Did Oberon send him here to con me? And the worst part is that, since the Perspicacious Fae have a strong mental shield, I would not be able to read his mind and know the truth.
I got up from the sand and looked at Cynthia. " Let us tie him up and take him to court! We should not release him until he proves his innocence," I instructed her.
"What if he turns out to be guilty?"
"Then behead him and throw his corpse in the sea just like you do to the perverts!"
Samuel didn’t even get anxious by my statement. I was amazed by his nerve! Or maybe he is not telling the truth.

Ivory took the privilege of restraining Samuel’s hands with an iron chain. When it comes to imprisoning the men, Ivory always volunteers to do the deed. I still don’t get why she is mean to all the other men except me!
She dragged Samuel to the courtroom and made him kneel in front of the empty blue throne of the Siren Queen. After that, Cynthia walked to the stage and sat down on her throne.
The rest of the Siren girls stood behind us, and they were eagerly waiting for the interrogation to start.
I looked down at Samuel, who was kneeling in front of me and asked out the first question. "Did the lame King Oberon send you here to con me?"
He shook his head side to side and said, "Your majesty! I am here on my own will to help you."
I chuckled slightly. "You are here to help me?! What do you even get by aiding me? Do you expect me to believe your words?"
"I think that I have already answered you on that! You are going to become the King of the Celestial Realm, and I know how exactly that is going to happen. If you let me help you, then we both can make that happen for real."
I turned to Cynthia and whispered in her head,’ How can we know if he is telling the truth or not? Is there a way you can read the mind of a Perspicuous Fae?’
’No! I am afraid that it is not possible,’ Cynthia whispered back in my mind and got up from her throne.
She then got down from the stage and eyed Samuel. "Tell me why exactly are you betraying the Fae King Oberon?"
Samuel gazed up at the Siren Queen and replied, "Because Oberon is threatened by people who are more powerful than him. And when someone is weak, he never respects them."
Samuel was one hundred percent right! He seems to know the real face of Oberon.
"We Perspicacious Faes are always seen as a threat by him as we know what the future holds," Samuel continued confessing to the Siren Queen. "And we have our own morals. We can’t reveal all the details that will happen in the future as it could break the cycle of nature and might result in the distortion of future events. But King Oberon always forces us to reveal every little thing that is bound to happen in the near future. If we refuse to do so, then he threatens us to throw down the abyss of torment!"
Samuel then faced me and ended his confession. "So that is why I am betraying King Oberon as we need a King who will give us free will!"
