Forever Destined to the Silver Shadow-Chapter 162: I am going to be crowned!
Celestia’s POV:
It was a challenging task for me to walk on the stairs while I was wearing sky-high heels and a long gown. I feel like a model now!
Back when I was working in the fashion studio, I always empathized with the fashion models who always had to look pretty and walk in high heels. Now I have become one of them!
Everybody was stunned when I got inside the courtroom. And I was stunned by the look of the courtroom. My Father was seated on his regular sunstone throne, which was the only thing that wasn’t changed in the room. Other than that, the whole room was very different!
There were four different colors painted on the walls of the courtroom. They must represent each of the Fae houses! Behind the wall of my father’s throne, the wall was golden yellow color as my father represented the Warrior Fae house.
The Perspicacious Faes and Healer Faes were seated separately on the right side of the courtroom. The wall behind them was painted green and purple. On my left-hand side, Wisdom and Spirit Faes were seated, and the wall was of the color blue and grey.
All the Faes were suited up in the color of their house, and their armors had the symbol of their particular houses. It will probably take me some time to get used to this big change!
People in the courtroom were still staring at me even after I got on the stage and stood next to my father’s throne. The Perspicacious High Fae Samuel had a scroll opened in his hand, but his eyes were on me. Is he admiring me?
When I looked around, I comprehended that the whole room was admiring me. Are they all admiring me?! This is all Ember and Daviana’s fault. They were the ones who made me like this doll. I glanced at Darius uncomfortably, who was standing next to me on the stage.
"You can’t blame them, Celestia! You are the pretty one here," he said that out in a whisper and mocked me. I frowned at his response.
This is exactly like the times when I was in the mortal world. Everyone in my office stared at me just like this. My father commenced the court just before the situation was about to get more awkward for me.
At that moment, I realized something. Darius is the prince of the Celestial Realm. Still, there wasn’t a crown on his head. Why hasn’t our father crowned him yet? And my father wants to crown me even before him? But Darius is older than me!
I shrugged off and quietly listened to Father Oberon, who was explaining to his subjects how my sacrifice has helped everyone in the realm and saved everyone’s life. In between his speech, the court members clapped their hands together to show their approval to my father’s points.
They all seem to be agreeing with everything that my father was saying. Perhaps they will agree on me becoming the princess too. This sucks!
"So I conclude that the Dawn should be crowned as the Princess of the Celestial Realm," my father ended the speech and shook the entire courtroom.
Darius, who was standing next to me, let out a gasp and asked me in a whisper, "Celestia, is our father serious?"
"You were not aware of this? Even the Fathomless warriors knew about this!" 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮
"No! You didn’t notice that I was not in the castle for the past two days? I was in the Lowlands meeting up with the Mage Lords."
Then I realized that he wasn’t around that much ever since I got here. " I am sorry that I didn’t notice your absence," I apologized to him. Darius grunted and turned his attention back to our father.
"I would like to hear the opinion of the Fae Lords over this," Father Oberon continued with his speech. "If all the houses give out a favorable vote, then I am looking forward to announcing the Dawn as the Princess of the Celestial Realm!"
I glimpsed at the faces of the High Lords who were seated below. I hope that they give out a negative vote. Soon there were the noises of murmuring and whispers in the courtroom.
Each of the house members was discussing separately. So is this how everything works now? I missed the times when all the court members discussed together and gave out a single verdict.
The Perspicacious Fae Lord Samuel was the first one to stand up from his seat. The room fell silent as he walked closer to the stage. Samuel smiled at me and turned to the throne. Why is he still admiring me?!
"Your majesty, I am an admirer of Dawn, and I respect the sacrifice that she made for all of our welfare. But I am afraid to say that she has to travel a long way if she needs to become the princess! So I vote negative," Samuel declared and went back to his seat.
Did he just vote against me? This is amazing! It looks like I won’t be crowned after all. Still, three of the other Fae Lords haven’t given their vote. I hope that they vote negative too.
The Healer Fae Aeson, stepped forward next. He bowed to my father and said, "We would be delighted to accept the Dawn as the Princess! So I vote positive."
Oh no! I really thought that he would vote negative too! It doesn’t matter. If the two more Fae Lords give out a negative response, then I don’t have to become the princess.
I didn’t know who the Spirit Fae Lord was. He seems to be new!
"He is Marvin! Do you remember him?" Darius questioned me.
Marvin?! Then it flashed me. He was the little kid who gave me a wooden doll before I was about to step in the Holy fire. So he has grown up this much and became the Spirit Fae Lord?! This is amazing!
"I vote in favor of the Dawn, too," Marvin said and disappointed me.
The Wisdom Fae Lord Ethan, too, gave a positive vote and disappointed me even more. So it is official now. I am going to be crowned as the Princess of the Celestial Realm!
