Chapter 136: Take your pet and leave.

Celestia’s POV:

After he left, I began to walk on the dark pathway that led me to the castle. Why did he have to leave me? No matter how many times I pleaded with him, he refused to take me with him.

Why doesn’t he want me around? Does he think that I am weak? But I can use my Angelic powers now. Theo was trapped in the dead rock cage, and I was the one who saved him.

Now, I am worthy of battling with the shadow creatures along with his side! I won’t stumble and fall as I did in the past. Still, he left me and said that I wouldn’t be safe if I went with him.

I was so hurt and sad by his actions. When he comes back to me, I am going to make him pay for hurting me like this! I hope that the day comes soon. I want everything to go back to normal!

As I got closer to the doorway of the dungeon, I recalled Theo’s last words. He told me not to trust Father Oberon, no matter what happens. I didn’t know what exactly he meant by that.

Is he saying that my father is going to backstab me? But my father will never hurt me. A while ago, he had the chance to battle with me, but he didn’t do it. Instead, he broke down and told me that I am his child and he can never hurt me!

All of this is a misunderstanding! My father has misunderstood Theo entirely. That is the reason for all this conflict. This issue can be easily settled down if they both have a peaceful discussion with each other.

I even created circumstances in the past where they could get to talk with each other. But that didn’t go well. They both engaged in a fiery debate all the times they met in the courtroom.

I think that they both want to keep on fighting with each other. Both of them are not interested in peace. And I am tangled in between them helplessly!

When I got out of the dungeon, I was greeted by my warrior friends. Darius strode forward and said, "Please tell me that you didn’t free him!"

"If I said that, then I would be just lying," I said.

"Oh no...," he shrieked out and stroked his temples with his fingers. "We all are doomed!"

"No, that is not going to happen," I protested. "Silver Shadow is not going to be a threat to us. Father Oberon has misunderstood him."

"Is that what you still think? If he is not a threat to us, then why did he run away from you? Answer me, Celestia!"

"Because he wants to stop Lilin by himself and save us all," I answered back.

"Well, Celestia! If a disaster happens in the lands, then don’t dare to appear in front of our father ever again. He might curse you for real this time," he snapped at me.

Nothing like that is going to happen! He is scaring me for no reason. How can I make him understand the truth? At that moment, I noticed that Ember was carrying Tangerine in the golden cage.

I immediately sprinted to her and got away from the cage. "Why did you bring her here? She dislikes being in murky places like this!"

"Celestia," she hesitated. "The King has ordered you to leave the lands immediately. You are banished again!"

"I know, but I need to have one final word with him before I leave," I said.

"Just take your pet and leave now," Darius shouted from behind me. "None of us wants to hear your lies anymore!"

At first, I was offended by his words. Then I remembered what I did to him a while ago. I had hurt him with my flames and threatened to slay all of my friends if they stood in my way. Even Darius attacked me too!

I reminded myself that they are not my friends anymore. They are my opponents! No matter what I say or do, they are never going to trust me.

"Fine! I am leaving now," I announced to them. "But one day, you all will acknowledge me, and I am going to wait for that day to come."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I created a portal directly to the Southern Lord’s castle garden. It was still night here! Even though I was saddened to leave my birth land, I was also relieved to be in the lands where people believe and respect me.
Tangerine began to screech out loud. I struggled to comprehend what was wrong with her. Is she hungry? She must be hungry!
I don’t remember feeding her when I was in the Highlands. Poor thing must be starving now!
"I am sorry, Tangerine! I’ll feed you something now," I said.
I looked around me to see if there were any berry shrubs around me. But all I was able to spot near me were the floral shrubs. I recalled seeing a raspberry shrub around this area somewhere.
I stepped deeper into the yard and scanned the surroundings around me. The moonlight wasn’t sufficient to see everything around me. I raised my palms, and I was ready to conjure up light.
All of a sudden, someone sneaked up on me from behind. "Who is it?" I called out.
I didn’t get a reply from the sneaker. Instead, the sneaker pushed me from my back. I instantly lost the balance of my feet, and I stumbled and fell over the floral bushes.
Tangerine’s cage slipped away from my hand as I fell, and it landed on the ground. Tangerine was squealing more than ever. But I was not in a condition to pull myself up from the shrubs.
"Hang in there, Tangerine," I cried out. I hope that she is not injured!
It was dark; I didn’t know what flowers were on the shrub. But I was able to feel the thrones of the flower stems pricking my skin. This hurts!
"Who has the nerve to attack the Dawn?" I yelled ferociously.
