Forever Destined to the Silver Shadow-Chapter 134: I melted the Dead rock...
Celestia’s POV:
"Step away from that trickster for your own good!" My father shouted out.
I got up from the ground and faced him. Father Oberon appeared in front of me from the darkness behind the cage. I got dazed for a while. My father was in the castle! He should be appearing from behind me.
Was he already lurking in this place even before I got here? It could be possible! When I was in the castle, I came face to face with everyone else, but my father was not there.
So he was in the dungeon all this time to guard the cage! I should appreciate him for coming up with such a nice move. He knows that I won’t fight with him. That is why he is guarding the cage by himself instead of appointing any Fae guards for it.
What am I going to do now? I have the strength to battle with anyone who comes in my way. But I can never fight with my father. Still, my heart respected him for raising me as his daughter.
I put off the flames from my hand as I didn’t want to see his angry face. Everything around me became dark again, and I think that it is better this way.
"Celestia, come back to the castle now! Just don’t make this hard for me," he lashed out.
"No! I am going to free Theo now! Even if it means that I would have to fight with you," I cried out.
"Then you leave me no choice," he snapped out.
My heart was still not in this. I don’t want to attack him! I wish that some kind of miracle happens and changes this situation entirely.
I decided not to attack him first. I just conjured up my flames again to see if he was striking at me or not. But he was just standing still!
His pale blue eyes welled up immediately, and he began to weep out like a little child. "I can never hurt you, Celestia! You are my child."
As soon as I saw tears in his eyes, I began to cry out too. I immediately ran to him and embraced him in my arms. He hugged me back and patted my head. "I am pleading to you, my child. Try to break free from the illusion at least now."
"Please forgive me, father," I sobbed out. "I love him so much! I can’t see him in pain like this."
He immediately moved away from me, and he stopped crying after that. "If you don’t obey me now and release him, then you will have to suffer severe consequences for that.
"But nothing is going to happen! You are misunderstanding Theo. He is not going to be a threat to us," I argued with him.
He wiped away his tears from his face and said, " I am banishing you again from my Kingdom. I should have never let you in here in the first place. I made a mistake by believing that you deserve a second chance. But you don’t!"
*Father," I gasped. "Please don’t do this to me!"
"Think about it, my child. Are you willing to risk everything for him by making a wrong choice? I will leave you up to you now! But if you end up making a mistake again, then get ready to pay for it!"
"Nothing is going to happen. Please have faith in me, Father!" I cried out.
He gave me a smile and said, " I have faith in you that you will make the right choice!" Then he began to walk in the pathway that leads to the castle.
I realized that he gave me free will to make my own choice. What can I do now? I don’t want to disrespect my father. And also, I can’t let Theo rot out in this dead rock cage.
I know one thing for sure! Theo’s allegiance is to the people of the Celestial Realm. He is not going to bring any destruction here, as my father claims. He is worried for nothing!
Theo was on a quest to destroy Lilin, and my father captured him by guessing that he was up to something. My family and friends don’t know about Theo the way I know him. They are highly misunderstood.
It doesn’t mean that I have to follow a lie said by my father when I know what the truth is. I am going to free Theo now! Once they all realize that truth about Theo, then they all will stop denouncing him falsely.
I stepped closer to the cage slowly and held the rods of the cage. Theo always senses my presence whenever I am around him. Now I am standing close to him. Still, he is unable to comprehend that!
I gripped the rods firmly and tried to produce my flames over them. But the dead rocks suppressed my powers as usual. I can’t let it win! Even when it drains out my powers, I should try to feel the energy and hold on to it.
My grip around the rod tightened as I strived to hold on to the force within me. I don’t understand how I was able to break free from my chain easily a while ago. Now it has become difficult for me again!
Perhaps it depends upon the size of the object. This cage is enormous! In order to break this thing, I need to fight even more with the feeling of deadliness.
I shut my eyes tight and recalled what Theo had told me plenty of times.’ Believe in yourself! You are an Angel, have faith in your capabilities!’
Soon, the rod got melted a little with my flames. My confidence doubled after that. I can do this! Eventually, the intensity of my flames increased double-fold.
This time, the rods got overpowered by my flames. Then the fire spread out to the entire cage. I did it! I melted the cage that was made up of the dead rocks. I have never been so proud of myself before!
