Chapter 122: Back to my birth land...

Celestia’s POV:

Just when I was reveling in the joy, Lord Magus came to the spot and glanced at me worriedly. He was trembling as usual and hesitated for a long time to speak up.

He gets anxious even to speak with me! How did he even manage to rule the regions for this long?

"Your Grace," he finally spoke out. " I am sorry to interrupt, but if you leave the lands, then who is there to protect us? If the Shadow creatures invade our lands, then all the Mages will be defeated."

I looked at my father just to see how he was reacting to this. He was looking at the fire torches that were on the wall in front of him. So he is still ignoring the issues of Mages, just like he always does!

I turned my attention back to the Mage Lord and said, " I’ll be gone for only a few days! In case of any attacks, please send me a message through a firebird. I’ll be on the spot immediately."

Magnus was somewhat convinced by my reply. He bowed down to me and walked out of the hallway. After he left, Father Oberon grinned slightly and said, "Come on, child! It is time for us to leave."

We all got out of the emerald palace and went to the garden that was on the backside. When my father was about to open a portal, I realized that I left tangerine in my room.

I should go upstairs and get her! If I leave without her, then she is going to be furious with me. Suddenly, Amelia appeared from the white fumes. I noticed that she was holding Tangerine in the cage.

I ran to her immediately. "Thank you so much, Amelia. You are so thoughtful," I said and got the cage from her.

She smiled back at me and quickly disappeared from my eyesight. Why did she leave even before I could say goodbye? I held Tangerine’s cage in my hand and walked back to the portal.

Father Oberon was still frowning at the spot from which Amelia disappeared. Then I realized the reason why she left so quickly. She got scared of my father!

"You should seriously stop making friends with Sirens," Darius whispered in my ear.

I glanced up at Darius and said, "Amelia is not like other Siren girls. She is kind to me!"

"You can never trust a gifted Siren! They can make you go insane by altering the reality around you in a different light," Father Oberon said and got in the portal.

How does he always have something negative to say about all of my new companions? But I trust Amelia! She is definitely not like other Sirens. She took good care of Tangerine when I was not around.

It was so good to be back in my old home! Since it was nighttime, no one was there to greet me when I reached the castle. So I went directly to my old room.

As soon as I got in my room, I realized that no one got in here after I left. The floor and the wall were dusty. Eight-legged insects were crawling in the corners of the ceiling.

Why did no one get in my room? I should probably ask Darius about it tomorrow. I placed Tangerine’s cage near the table that was next to the window.

She was already asleep in her cage. By seeing her, I got sleepy too. I went straight to my bed and fell on my mattress. The last time I was in this room, I was a Far warrior.

Now I am the Queen of the Lowlands and lady love of Theo. Time is the most unpredictable thing in this universe! No one realizes how soon it flows and what surprises it is going to bring in the future.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I had no idea what place it was. It was dark everywhere. Is this a dungeon? Why am I even visualizing this? Only one thing that was bringing out a dim light in this place was Theo’s sea-green eyes. He was lying on the ground, and he seemed to be exhausted, just like I was a while ago.
I was puzzled! What is Theo doing in a place like this? He was not wearing the upper part of his robe, which revealed his pearly white skin that was dimly visible.
Theo pierced me with his glare and mumbled, "Celestia, please save me. I am chained here, and I am not even able to get up from the ground."
What?!!!!! Then I noticed an iron chain was wrapped around his upper body. Who did this to him?
"Celestia, my love! Gather all our Demon and Mage warriors. Inform Cynthia that I am here. Please don’t be late! Or else they will succeed in separating you and me."
"Theo," I began to cry. " Don’t worry! I won’t let anything happen to you. I am on my way."
"Celestia, wake up! You are just dreaming," I heard another voice say.
Immediately after that, Theo disappeared from my sight. Where did he go?
"Theo," I shouted out, hoping that he would appear again. "Where are you? You still didn’t tell me who is after you!"
But he didn’t come back to me. Why did he leave without saying the name of his captor?
"Celestia, open your eyes now," I heard Darius shout.
I jolted up from my sleep and blinked at Darius, who was standing next to my bed.
He must be the reason why Theo faded away from my vision. I scowled at him angrily and screamed out loud, "I was in a vision! How dare you interrupt me?"
Darius got intimidated by my rage. He moved a little away from my bed and said, "Celestia, I am sorry! I had no idea that you were in a vision. I thought that you were having a nightmare, so I woke you up!"
"Get out of here, Darius," I cried out.
"Celestia, please calm down! Tell me what you saw in your vision. We can try to find a way in—"
"Just get out of here, Darius! You have already helped me so much. Thank you for that."
