Foreign Land Reclamation By a Vegetable-growing Skeleton-Chapter 1975 - 1536: A Chill in the Soul
The Star Mover couldn’t see Ange’s Power of Fall, which is Ange’s trump card. Negris repeatedly reminded him not to show it to the God Star.
However, just those Devouring Star Flames were enough to give the Star Mover a headache. If these Star Flames were shot inside using the Double Star String method, they would explode into a big ’pit’, and all the Star Flames inside the pit would be contaminated into Devouring Star Flames, making them difficult to clean up.
But these are just the most basic uses of the Dual Star System. Because Ange himself possesses Little Ghost and Kram, he has developed some usage habits. If he considers the two God Stars as Little Ghost and Kram, he can exhibit some abilities that others can’t even imagine, such as tearing open the Endless Barrier.
"Pfft, you tore open the Endless Barrier? The barrier between the Endless Cage and the outside world?" Upon hearing Ange’s words, Negris spat out a mouthful of blood.
Ange nodded, opened his two palms, rubbed them together vigorously, and then suddenly put them down, pulling hard to tear out a gap.
Negris, Anthony, and the others all eagerly gathered around. Negris was more cautious, looking around to make sure the Star Mover wasn’t here, then heaved a sigh of relief.
Looking out through the gap, the outside void was pitch-black, without any light, no fluctuations, silent and empty.
But that was very normal. Actually, in the Boundless Space Hole, without the light of the God Star, the entire void is equally black, silent, and void; this is the regular state of the void.
On the contrary, the void near the God Star is noisy, which is not the norm, because all the noise is generated from the illumination of the God Star’s Divine Light.
Like the Star Mover, who uses a fruit shell to wrap himself and refuses to release his Divine Light, the void near him is quite silent.
"How do you know this is the outside world? Isn’t it just like what’s inside here? Did you open the rift into the Boundless Space Hole?" Negris said.
He really didn’t believe Ange could tear open the Endless Barrier with his bare hands. If possessing the power of two God Stars could tear open the Endless Barrier, why do the God Stars outside need the Gate of No Boundary to hide inside? Shouldn’t they be able to tear it apart by exerting force collectively with several God Stars?
"It’s really possible. If the barrier can’t be torn open, how does the Star Mover move the God Star out? Could it be that you have mastered the star moving ability?" Anthony said in shock.
"Star moving ability? This? The Star Mover is so mysterious and still says you must join their organization to learn such an ability. It can’t be that simple, right?" Negris said.
"Simple? Lord Nage is amazing, you give it a try. It takes the combined power of two God Stars to tear open the rift, and you dare call it simple?" Anthony retorted impatiently.
This kind of rift that only two God Stars can tear open is the most difficult skill in the void, even Gemez Fortress can’t learn it. It has already abandoned all techniques, requiring only the most fundamental power in the void.
Ange’s motion of tearing the barrier with his hands was just a way of guiding the power. It wasn’t his hands that tore open the barrier but the two God Stars, Little Fireman and Abyssal Big Mouth.
The rift was open, and Ange cautiously poked his head out, then his body, and finally his entire form sneaked through.
"Lord, be careful, it’s too dangerous, please come back." Including Anthony, everyone panicked.
If the void on the opposite side is truly the outside world, then once this rift closes, boom, everyone here will die; this act carries a very high risk factor.
Ange looked left and right, then shrank back, not very worried. With two God Stars supporting such a small barrier rift, it was almost impossible to suddenly close, especially since he hadn’t left the rift and could shrink back anytime.
By probing, he saw something strange millions of kilometers away on the left side of the void. Besides that object, there was nothing in the surrounding void.
"Over there, there’s something," Ange said.
"Oh my, Lord, let me go to investigate. You can use the Eye of Divine Vision to share my vision, without projecting it onto me, this way is safer," Anthony said.
The Eye of Divine Vision is a method by which deities share the vision of their followers; what followers see, the gods see.
Yet, this method is based on the follower’s vision; whatever the follower sees, the gods see. If the follower is nearsighted, the gods see only a blurry area.
Whereas projection directly involves Ange’s consciousness and power being projected over; aside from power attenuation, everything else is Ange’s vision, even showing spatial distortion.
So Ange rarely uses the Eye of Divine Vision, but it is the safest method of exploration in such circumstances; even if surprises occur, it’ll only result in Anthony’s demise.
"Let me go, let me go, I want to see too." Ursman said hastily.
"I’ll go too..." Though the situation outside the rift was unknown, Anthony wasn’t the only one unafraid of death. Even Xisluo and Tyrone volunteered themselves because Ange could resurrect them.
Ange nodded, moved aside to clear the rift’s position.
Anthony drilled into the rift but suddenly encountered strong resistance, pulling him backward.
Anthony searched and found the source of the resistance was the Sealing Pearl of the Gate of No Boundary.
"You can’t go through with the Gate of No Boundary, give it to me," Negris said.
Anthony handed the Sealing Pearl of the Gate of No Boundary to Negris, then tried going through the rift again, this time going smoothly through.
The others quickly followed, passing through the rift and flying toward the direction Ange pointed.
Ange used the Eye of Divine Vision to look at Anthony, and immediately a clear but narrow field of vision appeared before him.
Ange shrunk his head, uncomfortable feeling like his head was stuck in a crack, looking through a crack to see things; the field of vision was too narrow, barely able to see far.
Earlier, when he poked his head out, he saw something millions of kilometers away, but through Anthony’s vision, there was nothing, which made him very uncomfortable.
Until Anthony and others were approximately a million kilometers away, they barely saw something, and as they approached a distance of three hundred thousand kilometers, they saw it was an up-flat, down-pointed round disc, and at ten thousand kilometers, they saw a door on it.
"It’s the Gate of No Boundary!" Anthony exclaimed.
"So close? Could it be yours?" Ursman said.
Anthony hurried to the Gate of No Boundary, fumbled around, knocked on the door handle, and soon, there was movement in the Sealing Pearl in Negris’ hand.
"It really matches the Gate of No Boundary," Negris excitedly entered the boundary, shouting through the door handle to Anthony.
Anthony’s voice transmitted through the door handle: "Seems this truly is the world outside the Endless Cage."
Negris wanted to say more, but all hearts resonated with Ange’s voice: "Hide, something is coming."
Ange was clearly not telling those inside the Endless Cage to hide. Owning the Dual Star System now, even if Gemez Fortress came, there was no need to hide; those who needed to hide could only be Anthony and those on the outside.
Anthony thought the same, quickly pulling everyone to hide behind the platform, retracting their forms; as Star Descendants, they’d only leave a White Crystal, easily hiding in any nook or cranny.
Before long, a giant shadow moved in front of the platform.
The figure was too large to see its full form from the rift, barely seeing its huge tentacle with a face extended before the Gate of No Boundary, fiddling around, and soon there was a knock on Negris’ Gate of No Boundary.
Once connected, a voice from the door handle resounded: "I succeeded, open the door to let me through."
Seeing the giant shadow in Ange’s vision, and hearing the voice from the door handle, Negris’ entire soul shivered.
