Flash Marriage With Mr. Sheffield: Go Away, Cheap Man!-Chapter 115: He Changed His Mind, No Hospital
"Clara." Isaac Sutton gazed lovingly at Clara Sterling.
His eyes lingered over Clara Sterling for a moment, reaching out to hold her and leave.
Just as Isaac Sutton extended his hand, before he could touch Clara Sterling, he was forcefully shoved away.
Caught off guard, Isaac Sutton staggered and almost fell.
Pushed violently aside, Isaac Sutton turned angrily, glaring fiercely until suddenly, his rage instantly dissipated.
Silas Sheffield stood in front of him, looking down with eyes cold as frosted ice.
Silas Sheffield’s imposing aura stunned Isaac Sutton, fearing a misunderstanding, he awkwardly explained, "President Sheffield, Clara isn’t well, I was just worried about her..."
Upon hearing this, Silas Sheffield lowered his gaze towards Clara Sterling.
Seeing Clara Sterling’s condition, Silas Sheffield’s expression turned stern, he took off his suit and covered her, pulling out his phone to make a call.
Soon, the bar owner hurried over, bowing and scraping to please Silas Sheffield.
"President Sheffield, I didn’t know you were coming today, I didn’t get the chance to greet you..."
Silas Sheffield couldn’t be bothered with his nonsense.
"Close the bar, check the surveillance, find the person who drugged my wife." Silas Sheffield’s eyes narrowed slightly, a cold light flickering in them, "Otherwise, you won’t be opening this bar anymore."
The bar owner trembled fearfully, "Okay, I’ll, I’ll check right away..."
Without further words, Silas Sheffield picked up Clara Sterling in his arms and headed out.
The bar owner glanced at Lisa Holloway and Anabelle Spencer, drunk and unconscious, knowing they were Mrs. Sheffield’s friends, he didn’t need further instructions from Silas Sheffield to know what to do.
He ordered several female employees to take Lisa Holloway and Anabelle Spencer to the hotel to settle them, while he personally went to monitor the surveillance footage.
If he couldn’t find the bastard who drugged Mrs. Sheffield in his bar, he’d be directly responsible, maybe even end up in legal trouble.
He couldn’t afford to take this matter lightly.
Silas Sheffield carried Clara Sterling swiftly out of the bar, with Isaac Sutton following behind.
As the effects of the drug took hold, Clara Sterling’s body heated up as if roasted by flames.
"Ugh... so uncomfortable..." Clara Sterling squirmed restlessly in the man’s arms.
Silas Sheffield’s entire body tightened.
Seeing her condition, he knew she had been given that kind of drug.
He had to get her to the hospital quickly.
Silas Sheffield opened the Cullinan’s passenger door, placed Clara Sterling inside, fastened her seatbelt, then went around to the other side to sit in the driver’s seat.
As he was about to start the car, Clara Sterling unbuckled her seatbelt with a click.
Silas Sheffield frowned slightly, turned to look at her, and was caught off guard when she kissed him on the lips.
Clara Sterling’s hands hooked around Silas Sheffield’s neck, kissing him forcefully.
Silas Sheffield could not resist Clara Sterling’s kiss.
He remained still, allowing Clara Sterling to hook his neck and kiss him in a haphazard manner.
After a while, Clara Sterling, dissatisfied with just kissing, crawled forward and straddled Silas Sheffield’s legs face-to-face.
Silas Sheffield hadn’t expected Clara Sterling to act this way, and instinctively froze for a moment.
In the next second, Clara Sterling fiercely captured his lips again.
This kiss was hotter than the last, akin to her body temperature.
Desire ignited, spreading like wildfire.
Silas Sheffield pressed his large hand against Clara Sterling’s waist, holding her body tightly against his.
Clara Sterling buried her head, whining, and reached to unbutton Silas Sheffield’s pants.
This action caused Silas Sheffield’s body to stiffen with fear.
He grunted, restraining the mischievous hands, "Baby, not here."
This was the bar’s entrance.
People were coming and going.
If they were going to do it, they’d have to go home or find a nearby hotel room.
Clara Sterling’s rationale had been devastated by the drug, unable to heed his words.
Her hands didn’t stop moving.
Silas Sheffield grunted again, nearly losing his mind.
Under Clara Sterling’s teasing, he finally couldn’t resist pressing her against the steering wheel, kissing her fervently.
After a passionate and lingering kiss, Clara Sterling’s lips were slightly swollen.
Silas Sheffield raised his head, panting lightly, unexpectedly meeting a gaze outside the car.
Isaac Sutton stood pale-faced in front of the car, unknown how long he had been watching.
Silas Sheffield met Isaac Sutton’s eyes, his gaze provocative, a smile tugging at his lips, his chin slightly lifted arrogantly.
Isaac Sutton’s eyes reddened, his whole being nearly shattered, as if a gust of wind could blow him away.
Silas Sheffield was very pleased with Isaac Sutton’s reaction.
He withdrew his gaze.
"Be good, baby." Knowing that Clara Sterling was currently drugged and confused, Silas Sheffield softened his voice to coax her.
He picked up Clara Sterling, placed her back in the passenger seat, leaned over to fasten her seatbelt, "Let’s go home."
He changed his mind, no longer heading to the hospital.
Tonight, he’d be her antidote.
The Cullinan drove away.
Leaving Isaac Sutton standing alone in the dark night.
They had just been kissing, perhaps even...
He could only see the upper bodies of the two passionately intertwined in the car.
He dared not even imagine what the scene below might be.
A tearing pain emanated from his heart.
Witnessing his beloved woman passionately kissing another man, it felt like Isaac Sutton’s chest was being torn open by a pair of hands, exposing a gaping hole, with cold wind and loneliness howling inside.
...
That night, in the first half of the night, Clara Sterling took the initiative.
Under the influence of the drug, she was unusually enthusiastic and bold, while Silas Sheffield leisurely indulged.
In the second half of the night, the drug’s effects wore off, and Clara Sterling gradually regained her senses.
Silas Sheffield became active instead of passive.
The next day, Clara Sterling woke up around three in the afternoon.
Silas Sheffield was nowhere to be seen, the other side of the bed empty.
Clara Sterling sat up from the bed, looked down at the marks on her body, recalling fragments of last night’s events.
She only remembered going to the bar with Lisa Holloway and Anabelle Spencer for drinks, but how did she get home?
Some of her memory was missing, impossible to recall.
The rest of the memory was being heavily bullied by Silas Sheffield in bed.
Recalling that scene made Clara Sterling’s face heat.
She got dressed and freshened up, heading downstairs, hearing Silas Sheffield on the phone.
"Remove the hot search immediately, delete all related content from the internet!" Silas Sheffield’s tone was clearly full of anger.
Clara Sterling involuntarily slowed her steps.
She had never seen Silas Sheffield so furious before.
What had happened?
