FLASH MARRIAGE; CHARMED BY THE RUTHLESS BILLIONAIRE CEO-Chapter 241: Heart To Heart Talk
As the night slowly rolled by, Amelia got to understand and appreciate Maria's interference in her marriage. She listened as Blaze shared intimate stories with her that he had never told anyone.
Stories of how he came to be an only child of his parents.
Stories of how his mother almost lost her life in the process of birthing him- the real reason behind his fears of having kids of his own.
Stories of how Maria's dreams of having more children were cut short after a ruptured ectopic second pregnancy that led to an emergency hysterectomy.
He reaffirmed his love for Amelia, stating that a world with her in his life would destroy him.
Finally, Blaze promised that he was ready to do whatever it took to earn her complete forgiveness and keep her as his wife forever.
After listening to all her husband had to say and watching Maria's confession to the end, Amelia thanked Blaze for his honesty and everything he had ever done for her.
She empathized with him on his mother's birth challenges and assured him that she bore no grudges against Maria's desperate action.
She apologized for withholding the truth about her pregnancy from him, promising to be more open and honest in the future.
As regards his plea for them to remain a couple forever, she stated that she needed time to think critically and clear her mind before making any decision.
She further explained that she didn't want a long-term relationship born out of sentiment, pressure and regrets.
She pointed out Blaze's weaknesses, like his anger, insecurities and lack of trust, emphasizing on the need to work on them.
She also bared out her anger concerning how Blaze treated her father with resentment, and how this hatred may have led to the unfortunate accident.
She also stated that if Blaze really wanted a future between them, he must be willing to let go of his past vendetta for her father and treat him the way he would treat his own father if he were alive.
Concerning her pregnancy, Amelia made known her desire to keep it, after reassuring Blaze that what happened to his mother during her child-birthing process would never happen to her.
After all was said and done, they both agreed to give each other time to recover while maintaining a cordial relationship as husband and wife.
By the following morning, Blaze awoke with a newfound determination to make things right.
First of all, he set the ball rolling concerning his big plans he had for Tina later that evening.
Next, he made some arrangements with one of the most renowned physiotherapists in the country, to come down to Salvine City on the next available flight.
After speaking with the senator at length and apologizing for his ill manner behaviour, they both agreed to see and deliberate on a smooth recovery plan.
Finally, he made some calls and employed the services, of the best gynecologist in town, to ensure his wife's pregnancy was carefully monitored to avoid any form of complications.
By the time Amelia got ready and came downstairs to the dining room, a sumptuous breakfast was already served on the dining table just for her.
The tantalizing aroma of waffles, scrambled egg, raisin toast and beacon whiffed through the air, filling Amelia's nostrils, and making her stomach growl in excitement
By the side of her captivatingly garnished meal was a single freshly cut rose flower with a red ribbon tied to the middle of the stalk.
Underneath the rose was a yellow folded note that instantly caught Amelia's attention.
"Good morning, ma'am." The butler greeted with a bow.
"Good morning, Augusto." Amelia beamed in response, peeling her eyes away from the rose flower.
"I trust you rested well." The butler pulled out a chair for her to sit on.
"Yes, I did. Thank you." Amelia gracefully, sat down, her eyes darting around in search of Blaze.
"Isn't my husband having breakfast?"

"I think he already ate something after cooking, ma'am?" Augusto reported.
"He prepared this?" Amelia's eyes widened at the tasty meal before her.
"Yes ma'am."
"Hmm..." Amelia's lips curled up in a bewitching smile. "So, where is he now?"
"He is currently with a visitor in his study."
'A visitor?' Amelia raised a brow, her mind swirling slightly at the thought of who this visitor could be. But the Butler's next statement put her heart at ease.
"Mr Anderson said that you should please join him in the study when you're done eating."
"Okay. Thanks."
Before Amelia started eating, she picked up the rose and inhaled the sweet fragrance, letting the petal caress her cheek softly. Then she read the handwritten note, a warm smile framing her flushed cheeks.
"Good morning, my love. Enjoy your breakfast."
"Hmm..." Amelia chuckled. "Let's see how long you'll be able to continue with this." She inhaled the rose fragrance again before diving into her meal, finishing everything on the plate like a hungry bear.
After eating, Amelia headed for the mansion study, following behind the butler.
When they got to the door, she knocked twice and heard Blaze's deep but sharp voice asking her to come in. She turned the knob and slowly pushed the door open, only to find her husband standing behind his well polished mahogany desk.
Seated opposite him was a mature-looking woman in a dark blue pants and white long sleeve shirt. Her grayish black hair was nicely trimmed giving her a young and elegant look. Her smiles were endearing and captivating, instantly capturing Amelia's heart.
'Where have I seen this face before?' Amelia pondered under her breath as she carefully assessed the woman.
"Good morning, sweetheart." Blaze briskly made his way around the desk to receive Amelia while the mature woman rose to her feet.
"Good morning," Amelia managed a faint smile as Blaze briefly hugged her before introducing her to the guest in his office.
"Babe, I want you to meet Doctor Venessa Igar, a renowned and well-experienced..."
"Gynaecologist." Amelia completed her husband's statement, cupping her lips, taking him by surprise.
"You know her?" Blaze asked, masking the excitement in his eyes.
"Yes."
"You do look familiar." Dr Vanessa interjected. "But please, forgive me I have a very poor memory."
"I'm Fiona's daughter. Fiona Wales Shawls." Amelia said excitedly approaching the doctor, tears of joy welling up in the corner of her eyes.
"Little Amelia!" Dr Vanessa's eyes widened, her jaws dropping.
"Yes...yes. Although, I'm not little anymore."
